I called on Monday to see if I could schedule it to be de-winterized that Thursday or Friday. Their schedule was full but they told me to swing by at a certain time on Friday. Unfortunately, I was over 30 minutes late because the tires were very low after sitting in storage for 2 years, so I had to find a service station close to the storage lot to fill them up in order to safely drive to their facility. When I finally made it, they initially said they would get to it sometime that weekend, but I was departing on Sunday and was getting the tires replaced that night at a tire shop. So I thanked them for the attempt to fit me in and departed. I didn't get a mile down the road when they called me and said to turn around... they will get me in. All this while the owner had to run to an appointment of his own and had only one tech on site. They had me ready to go an hour later. They definitely did not have to do that, but they did. The owner even called me the next day to make sure it all went well (since he was gone when we finished up.) My biggest thanks to the family and crew there! If I'm ever back in the area with the Airstream, I will definitely bring it to Camper Care for any needed work! Highly recommended!!

The giant dealership nearby required me to leave my camper in a 3 week que to be serviced which is not do-able for full-timers. Homestead has always taken care of my warranty issues promptly and professionally. I had warranty repairs on my last two 5th wheels. The craftsmanship on the repairs was flawless, and I am admittedly a very picky person.

When we walked on the lot, we were expecting to deal with the typical "car salesman" trying to sell us something that we didn't need. Our salesman was not pushy, but very informative, sharing from his experience and taking the time to understand what we were looking for. After the purchase, we found a leak that did not get caught in the pressure-test (we found out about it the very evening that we brought the trailer home) and the Service Department was quick to resolve the issue. From our salesman to the staff that familiarized us with the trailer to the service representative that I was working with, and even the guy behind the counter at the store (I wound up substantially upgrading a purchase because I felt that I could trust his advice)... the people at General went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied and were informed about the products or services that they were addressing with us.

I bought a springdale keystone mini. It has been in the shop more than I got to use it the first…read moreyear. Problems from get go. Brought it home couldn't get in it. Had to take it back so they could adjust something or so later door was sticking real bad when we tried to open it with the key. Took back in they replaced the lock. We turned the air on water ran down the wall got floor soaked. Took back in the drain holes weren't lined up correctly. Again had it in the shop to get fixed. Was time for winter and we winterize it. Drained the anti freeze put water in the holding tank and water was pouring out around the tankless water heater. Back to the shop again. It was the water release valve. I had bought an extended warranty so it was covered. After I paid a 75 dollar deductible and shipping rate for the part that needed replaced. Now I'm finally using my rv open the awning and there's tiny holes looking like it could just tear. I give up! I am tired of taking it back in to service again. They said well first year is the toughest till you get all the bugs worked out. I would think brand new rv should not have this many bugs. I wish I would of bought an older rv from a private owner. Something for everyone to think about. Or maybe buy brand new and have the aggravation that I have had. Oh yes and more thing my table wobbles back and forth ridiculously. But they say oh it's like that because it can be made into a bed. I have had campers for many years and never ever had a table wobble back and forth like this one and they also made a bed. It turns out, there was 100,000 more miles on it than he told me before. He did not inform me until we started filling out the title for the vehicle. When i told him I was uninterested, he gave me my money back but said he would have to "burn the deposit". After some arguments and him being insulting, he eventually gave me my money back. After i left he called with an offer i did notrefuse. I wish i would have because it has had a lot of problems but that was my poor decision. They are dishonest and they have poor business practices.
