We came for some evening desserts and were impressed with the variety available in single serve or whole cake. There were a lot of staff behind the counter or restocking the wall of cakes. However there should've been more staff assigned to either helping customers find an available table or cleaning up the vacant tables. It's great to service your customers quickly but if they can't enjoy the delicious desserts then it subtracted from the overall enjoyment. We did try the following desserts and ranked them based on our favorites: Tart Lemon Brulee - nice tang from the lemon Cheesecake cookie - smooth and creamy cheesecake with bits of Oreo cookies Oblivion - sort of like a chocolate lava cake as it was delivered hot but no melted chocolate center.

An unexpected visit in the afternoon. Ambience was pretty crowded but that means something should be great ?! It was more a fine cafe setting in an Italian style. Staff were friendly asking your needs. I tried to have their seafood linguine, perfectly cooked tomato sauce with fresh basil sprinkled but a little too soft the linguine texture (not Al Denti ) but overall taste authentic. Orange juice was freshly squeezed with right temperature served. Next time may go back for their desserts and coffee The WiFi for Brunetti guest was not for guests but staff only.

Super cute and beautiful desserts!

If you got a sweet tooth, you gotta come here! This amazing cafe has everything you'd want to eat. When you first walk in you see a wall of beautiful decorated cakes. Then there is a long showcase of individual pastries and cakes. An absolutely stunning variety of bite sized goodies. Keep walking down the line and you find yourself in front of over 10 different gelatos! Which you can try before you buy. Moving on you get to the danishes/doughnuts and coffee bar. They have an afternoon deal after 2PM where you can get a danish and coffee for $6.50. Hell, they even roast and fresh grind their own coffee beans! For those who want an actual meal or savory food, just keep going! They gave a counter for sandwiches, pizza and pasta! Want some wine or prosecco with that? Why not? They have that too! Whether it's for show or for actual use they have a beautiful fridge with buffalo mozzarella and assorted cured meats. The staff is friendly and helpful , and you can relax and have a relaxing afternoon snack/morning bite/ delicious meal with dessert. If you just want to look upon some sugary eye candy, then Brunetti is the way to go. Come take a look for yourself, or go down the other alleyways and explore for yourselves, there will be something for everyone.

I was disappointed at this place given the high reviews I read beforehand. I went to this place twice, once for ice cream and another time for breakfast. The place is really big and it's a counter service which mean you might wait a while before placing an order specially given their is no proper lines to wait for your turn. I have tried the salty caramel gelato and it was really average, nothing special. For breakfast I went with avocado on toast and added two poached eggs and spinach. It was good but again nothing exciting. I also ordered a pistachio croissant which was a disappointing given the place is highly regarded for their pastry. Overall I would t recommend going here given the abundance choices of breakfast in Melbourne.

This place is not as good as the original on Brunswick Street, but if you're looking for a variety of cakes you'll find it here. I had two mini cannollis that looked way better than they tasted, and a few other pastries were good so I'm still not too sure about this place, it seems a bit hit and miss. Would give it another crack because there is so much on offer that I need to try before I can update my review. On the plus side, it's a convenient location and there's outdoor seating, perfect for people watching in the CBD!

The ambience of this place is classy with beautiful desserts everywhere. There were so many delicious looking desserts adorning the displays and it took me awhile to make my decision. However, I ended up with with a pistachio dessert and tiramisu gelato. Pistachio dessert - it was creamy, smooth and delicious. It has three layers: pistachio cream, vanilla cream and pistachio sponge cake. It was topped off with a pistachio flavored chocolate piece. Tiramisu gelato - it definitely tasted like tiramisu and was very delicious. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth but brought sadness when I took my last bite.

And these are just the profiteroles!

Actually very good. Tried their salmon with Camembert sandwich which was quite tasty. Never had this combination before and they made it work. Also tried their Nutella and passionfruit macarons. Fruit flavors are usually not my go to but gave it a shot. It was alright. The Nutella was good very much like a hazelnut macaron. Good food. Would try more of their food for sure.

Would agree it's a pretty touristy spot for those who don't have an amazing app like Yelp to get to the best coffee in Melbourne. Great location but average coffee. It's a place where it's right in the middle of everything and everyone, I'm not surprised there is pretty busy. But I have tasted better coffee in Melbourne, that's for sure. The dessert/cakes were okay. Not good enough to make you think "ah, I should come back again for the cakes." Rude was not the right word for the staff, as some of the other reviews suggested. I believe it's not a lack of passion. People in Melbourne take coffee very seriously, but I couldn't see the staff being one of them. Anyway. If you are touring around Melbourne and you want some "safe choice" for coffee just you like Starbucks being your safe choices in the States, then yeah, you probably wouldn't have a problem with this joint.

For $85, 3 sets of breakfast arrived. Poached eggs were hard boiled. Sent all 3 back. Came back and we welcomed the worst breakfast we've had in Melbourne. This place is designed for tourists. I've had a better breakfast in k-mart cafeteria in the 80's then this mess stay away and spend your money elsewhere.

There is so much Coffee in Melbourne, that after having tried it in at least 30 different places(I decided to try a new place everyday for a month), I was just craving for some Hot chocolate. At brunetti's they make the meanest most devilish hot chocolate ever. It is Rich and super thick. Just the way I love them! Oh my, I could sit with my chocolate cup for hours, which I did, partly because i was relishing it and partly because this is one of the nicest spots in Melbourne to people watch. It is located slightly above the street and being an open cafe, you can see people walking hurriedly along, possibly towards Flinders Station. The service is good and the staff are friendly but don't ask them what's good? - because they will mockingly reply "Everything is" and I've not tried everything on their menu, but the few items I did taste, I enjoyed. Maybe there's some honesty in their statement.

Lovely cafe. Many savory food options and beauties cakes. Lots of seating inside and outside, nice atmosphere to meet friends or rest during a shopping spree. It would have been five stars except that don't have oat milk. I guess I've been spoilt in Melbourne where all the cafes - from the tiniest hole-in-wall to the chain coffee shops - have oat milk as an option. Get with it Brunetti-it's 2021!!!

Coffee is weak and unnecessarily expensive. This is Melbourne, no average cup of coffee should cost over $5. Tourist joint only.
