From a Italian machine( looks like one). After the pet shop cross the lane I come most Thursday for a wicked wee coffee. Owner got special little cups in for me! I like a kind of expresso. The food s lovely too. All homemade. And cakes made. Starting around £10. Stunning. Again homemade. Children's toys, low tables for them. So sweet. A sofa too!! Genuine friendly staff. Always bring things to your table. Pay at the end. Can't say enough lovely things. Hope you come visit when touring Penicuik.

Decent coffee and service here…read more It does get busy here at lunch so you might find yourself sort of a table. It's the usual Costa spread. I usually opt for a flat whte and it's drinkable. Ok it's not like these great indies but it does the trick if you are at an retail park and that's really the only option you have other than Frankie & Benny's or Mcdonalds. Fruity flapjack is another staple for me. i just love flapjacks and this one suits my tastebuds quite well. It goes quite nice with the flat white too, so a good parter in crime and give me a sugar high "to keep on goIng, Keep on runnin". Like alot of retail parks the traffic congestion is the main issue with this park. There are limited spaces and you have to fiht to get one when it's busy, some spaces are quite tight aswell. Although you could leave the car at home and get a bus but who wants to wait in the howling wind that comes off the pentlands for a bus?? I try and avoid this place at the weekends as it's just heeving. It's a mid week fix for me if I can't be bothered going into town and getting a fix!
