I gave this place 4/5 a few years ago and it has gone massively downhill since. I went from getting breakfast bagels here 2x a week to maybe once every 2 or 3 months. The service has gotten terrible. If you walk in to order, expect to wait a minimum of 20 minutes, even if you're the only person there. They focus on online orders and talking to each other. read more

This is located in a convenient spot that they share with Caribou Coffee and there is an interior door between them. The choice of bagels is extensive and they have a good selection of flavored cream cheese. They also have sandwiches made with bagels. The bagels always taste best the day you buy them, but they also offer to storage bags if you decide to freeze them. I was late for work due to this. And then just now when I went to eat the order for lunch, it was a total mess. The sandwich was put together very sloppy and not cut. The service was incredibly slow! We stopped in two weeks ago (6/28) for a quick lunch. We ordered quickly, but waited almost 20 minutes for our bagel sandwiches! They had two people making sandwiches, one person cooking bagels (She stopped and helped with a few orders), one taking orders (who stood around doing nothing when there was no on in line). They ran out of some bagels, but instead of telling people that when they ordered, they made more without giving people an option to select a different bagel. They could have done a much better job taking orders, preparing them, and meeting the needs of customers. Won't go back again. read more

Came in before close, which is understandably upsetting to the staff, however i was only planning in getting a half dozen. The male worker, tall with braids, grumbled when my family and i walked it saying "ugh, two more just walked in." the service was very slow, and it took them too long to make the single-bagel order for the gentleman before me. The male worker also did not change his gloves after using the register, and neither worker was wearing hairnets. I was looking at the bagels leftover, and the female worker said "we're about to close, this is all we have left," in a very short-tempered tone. we left, because customers should be treated with respect if they're not being rude. the customers are paying your checks, not your manager. treat them as such. read more

First time in Minnesota so decided to walk here since it's not too far from my hotel. First walked in and the line was literally from one end of the store to the other. The works had ZERO sense of urgency and were making more online orders than helping people that were actually there waiting. Ordered a whole wheat everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It was good but SO FUCKING SMALL!!!!!!! I'm from NYC and that didn't even touch our bagels!! The price tho!!!!! They charged me $4.15 for A BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE!!!!!! What the fuck?????? Shouldn't be more than $2.50 MAX. Definitely won't be going back while I'm here or if I ever come back to MN. I will say that the workers are nice but they need a bit more speed in how they work. I'm shocked at the negative reviews -- I visit this store frequently, and my own personal experiences are of excellent customer service, attentive staff and never once has there been an error in completing my order even large complex ones. Since your sandwich is made to order when you order, expect it'll take a few minutes per order to complete -- that's just the nature of how this works (compare the time it takes to any of the big name sub shops that are everywhere). Their speed and quality has even been on the mark while they are training new staff. The store has always been clean, tidy and well maintained. They've always shown care in their cleanliness. If you don't like their "call-ahead-and-pick-up-off-the shelf" pre-order model, please express your opinion to Bruegger's corporate -- The business model is not set by the individual stores. Cost: Do everyone a favor and drive through the Golden Arches and compare cost. Just the other day, two standard value meals and no additions was in excess of $20. All food prices are high, but Bruegger's comes out looking pretty good by comparison when you consider cost vs. quality. In short, don't listen to the complaints. Visit and judge for yourself. I was in a couple Saturdays ago since they changed the ordering system, it is now an awkward and confusing set up. The workers were clearly very busy and possibly overwhelmed, they were in good spirits all things considered. But I noticed some less than ideal hygiene practices. A girl with dark hair loudly announced "I am so sweaty" and continued to pull up her pants, then scratch her stomach/side under her shirt without changing gloves. The bar/utensils also were not being cleaned enough, I ordered a cinnamon bagel with honey cream cheese and it was covered in a red spicy sauce, more than likely sriracha, just from cutting it in half. Bagels / ingredients were very good and fresh but disappointed they took soup off the menu. Very very long wait/line as only two employees were working. (Definitely don't blame the employees as they were working hard but the business needs to schedule more employees for the rush.). One employee was working and another was just sitting at a table on her phone. Called to cancel the order and she claimed she couldn't and told me to come back at 7am, which I could not because I had to get to work. She refused to refund my money and told me to call customer service. There is no one to call. All I can do is enter a refund request through app. I've been waiting for 4 days now and haven't heard a thing. I used to drive out of my way to come to this store as opposed to the one closest to me because of their staff and quality; but recently the staff has been slow, rude, and the quality of the food has gone down. Visiting from California and I decided to try this place out. The staff was awesome. Great attitudes, funny and made you feel welcomed. I had a Sun Dried Tomato bagel with plain cream cheese (I wanted something different). It was good but my fiancé went with our favorite type of bagel, an Everything Bagel with Veggie cream cheese and a smear of jalapeño cream cheese, I HIGHLY recommend this combo, it was excellent! So the sesame bagels were white, that's my first choice. Second choice is salt bagel. Not cooked enough and by the time I got it only a few crystals of salt, also not done enough. Bagels should be crisp outside. No milk for tea, only half and half, however I'm sitting outside here looking at a holiday station they, I'm guessing, sells milk. Obviously management is bad here. Have always loved their bagels and cream cheese and the service at this location friendly and fast.

I picked up a large order of bagels here a few weeks ago. When I say "picked up" it means I forgot to call ahead. The staff gave me a hard time for not calling ahead but it was all in good fun. I enjoyed the banter. When someone comes in and orders 39 bagels, I'd give them a hard time, too. The bagels were fresh, well prepared and carefully bagged for the trip. I would definitely return here. My only knock is that I ordered a coffee to go and it wasn't warm when I got to my car. I'm not sure what happened but definitely didn't ruin the experience with the staff and the quality of their bagels. read more

The people that work at this location act like they'd rather be getting drilled at the dentist rather than working here. They treated me like by ordering bagels from them I was a huge inconvenience interrupting their day. When I saw the bin for my favorite bagel empty I asked if they had any the oven and received the short reply "no" with the most blank non-caring face I've seen. Not "I'll check" or "no I'm sorry sir". Just "no" with a look that said hurry up and decide so I don't have to deal with you anymore. Will never come to this store again! It's a shame because their bagels are good but when then service is so poor the brand is totally destroyed. read more

This Bruegger's is one of my main hangouts when studying or doing some work; as mentioned, it's nice that it's attached to the Caribou next door, so there's typically plenty of seating available. Easy location to get to in the busy Cliff/77 intersection with a huge parking lot. The staff members (esp Sammi and Jon) are fast (even when it gets busy), personable and best of all, seem to know my order as soon as I walk though the door! read more

The employees are not welcoming, excited, or smile once when helping you. I was reading some of the bad experiences of people and them complaining about the service, it had me chuckling. I think these people take their bagels way too seriously. The bagels are great, sometimes they are not as fresh tasting as others, but hey, maybe I should get my butt out of bed earlier if I want fresher bagels. Their coffee is pretty good too. And if there is a long wait in line, it's because people in front of you are ordering sandwiches that need to be made to order. Food takes time to prepare people! After receiving horrible services from the bagel maker, then receiving horrible response from the manager and then being belittle by corporate I can safely say I've no intention of ever returning to this business again. One busy July Sunday AM my daughter and I visit this location for some breakfast and possibly another sandwich for lunch, we had sometime to decided because we had a 15 minute wait to order. Once we we called up the counter the young lady who help us made it very clear that this was that last place she wanted to be. Our bagels were made incorrectly and sloppy. When I asked to speak to the manger about it, she informed me that is how her bagels typically look as well. I informed as someone who has gone to brueggers bagels since 1994 I'm can assure her they typically don'T look so poorly put together. Then she told me without opening them she could NOT confirm how they were made. I told her I didn't want her open my food to look at it. she then signed very loudly and informed me she doesn't know what I want. Well maybe some professionalism and maybe a proper apologize. She never once apologized. When I told her I don't want sandwiches anymore. She said of course NOT. I then let her know I would be following up with corporate office. As I walk out she looked over to me and my daughter said in the most condescending voice, bye HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! I emailed this encounter to corporate, they didn't follow up to about 4 weeks later via mail. I got letter apologizing (basically sorry, that sucked) and a $5 off coupon -HEY CORPORATE if you see this pitched your $5 coupon in TRASH!!!! No wonder the bagel maker had such a poor attitude, it has tricked down to her manager from corporate! I have never been so offend on so many levels by one company! Got there today Oct. 8th 2015 at 6am and only two workers were in the store. There was a line of 3 people constant and hardly any bagels in the store. Apparently, another store came by before open and took most of the bagels because they had no baking equipment working. You should make them close down for the day instead of making your store go bad. There was also NO creamer put out which was frustrating. You can't operate a store like this. After recently moving to Eagan I was excited to discover a Brueggers within 2 miles of my new home. I have since visited this location 3-4 times, every time disappointed with a minimum 10 minute line. Today, I biked to Brueggers with my dog for breakfast and will not be returning to this specific location after my visit. I asked the younger man working for a water cup for my dog which he was happy to help (thanks!) after I went out and gave her water I was back inside to order my meal. I ordered with great service and surprisingly no line. Once I met the cashier I asked nicely if they had a scrap of turkey or dog treat for my dog... She looked at me as if I insulted her and responded "For $2.00"... Really? No need to be so rude.
