I want to start off by saying I'm a huge "strip" lash person. I prefer to glue my lashes on and off everyday. Everyone has a different preference, but I want to write this review with everyone knowing the point of view that I'm coming from. It was my first time trying out lash extensions with Angelina. She showed me pictures of the different types of lash sets I could get. She told me that I would like the "hybrid" set because she's seen how dramatic my strip lashes were. But for some reason, I wasn't a fan of how dramatic the hybrid lashes looked from the pictures, I fell in love with the "classic set" look! So I asked her to do that set on me even though she did warn me that it might be too basic for me. When she was done, I looked in the mirror and could barely see a difference. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't me. I'm sure she sensed that I wasn't excited about them, so she told me that if anything, I can come back within the week to get them fixed, free of charge. So I came back in 4 days. This time I just let her do her thing, cuz clearly, I didn't even know what I wanted. After she was done and I looked into the mirror this time, it was like magic! Lol so much closer to what I wanted! Moral of the story is, TRUST HER. She knows what she's talking about and she's a fair person. If you're not happy with the end product, she will make it happen. My first time here was a couple days ago recommended by my sisters. I came in for a brow wax and a facial. I booked online, their booking process was so easy and convenient I received numerous appointment reminder emails that I really appreciated. Before arriving, Cynthia reached out to let me know parking was available in the back. Upon arriving to the salon I was greeted right away by Cynthia we had a consult before my service where she asked me questions about my skin and/or health related questions. She then took me to the facial room which was very clean, beautifully decorated and comfy. Throughout the service she thoroughly explained everything she was applying to my skin and why. I also did derma-planing and she showed me she was using new, sealed blades for my derma-planing service. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The facial also included a very much needed and GREAT shoulder, arm and hand massage. She made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was okay as well. Once my facial ended I got my eyebrows done by Cynthia as well she left them just as I hoped for. I had been getting my eyebrows threaded before coming here and it was very harsh on my skin but the wax here was amazing I didn't even feel when it was being removed. Over all I had an amazing experience...before, during and after. A couple days after my facial Cynthia reached out and asked how my skin was doing since the facial and aftercare tips. I'm so excited to be meeting with her again in a couple weeks for my next facial and continuing my skin/brow journey here at Brows, Lids, Lashes. Thank you Cynthia!! :-) read more
