Katie not only took her time -- she is absolutely amazing. She patiently worked with me through the removal process and was able to remove every inch of the monstrous eyebrows I had (if you search Pikachu with eyebrows, you'll understand what she was working with!). She made sure I could truly start over when no one else would even touch my brows, and I'm so grateful for her patience and skill. Beautiful salon. Very clean, minimalist atmosphere. Front desk very friendly. I might have gotten my tech on a bad day...felt awkward that I didn't get much opportunity to voice my preference. Second time the same. Permanent make up is permanent and I spent close to $1,000. They still aren't complete with one brow 3-4 "holes" you can see skin. I will get them filled and the brows darkened and broadened locally this time. For me, it was not worth the drive and distance for the amount of money I spent. Let me warn you that getting an appointment (especially with Milly) can take a while! My first appointment was inMarch and I made the appointment seven months in advance because that was the first available appointment!! But boy was it worth it!! I was referred by a friend that I trust and whose brows I love. I was especially nervous because after all, IT'S PERMENANT for goodness sakes!! and I'm a deep chocolate girl....so let's be candid, dark skin can present its own challenges so for this reason I opted to make an appointment with Milly. My friend who's complexion is much fairer than mine has had services by Milly and others in the shop and she's been just as happy with them. So, you can confidently schedule with anyone if you don't really have "special needs". Anyway, Milly was awesome-- professional, friendly, and fast! She provided very specific instructions along with a pamphlet that outlined how to care for my brows and what to expect during the healing process. She also included an aftercare balm to apply to my brows while healing. I'm sooo happy with my brows and I haven't even had the follow up appointment yet! My brows look amazing when I add makeup and they still look amazing after I wash my face. I couldn't make my appointment at the last minute because initially I thought my car had been stolen. In fact it had been towed from the apartment complex where I was living. I left a message on their voicemail and then spoke to somebody directly. I explained the situation and she had to contact her office manager to see if we could reschedule without charging me another $100 deposit fee. Wow! Unbelievable results, both Milly and her sister Nicki are so talented and sweet. I am still in shock by the results! This is the holy grail for microblading eyebrows. One of my eyebrows was burned and has scar tissue so I only grow hair on ONE eyebrow. Everyday I have to color them to make it look like I have two. I had tried semipermanent before elsewhere and had uneven and terrible results. I had my brows tattooed by a woman who did a poor job. I scheduled a consultation with Millie in hopes of her fixing them. She was very pleasant. I had heard good things about her artistic ability. She called 2 of her workers into the room so as to show them "strokes" which were incorrect. I was embarrassed and felt as though I was being scolded & stupid for having gone to the prior person. I did not need to be reminded as after all that was the reason I was seeing Millie. She told me that I had 3 options. 1) laser the marks off which would also result in removing all my hair 2) Tatoo white over the dark marks 3) allow her sister to make my brows much thicker to cover over the other Tatoo. I left more that a little upset, but set up 3 subsequent appointments with sister. Millie was far too booked to help me. The drive to her location was about 45 min from my intown home. Thank goodness my hair dresser sent me to see Carrie who owns Brow you Doing on Moreland Ave. Carrie fixed my brows that very week. She was a nursing student thus her knowledge is far more in depth and her sensitivity is brilliant. I'm delighted that within 2 weeks of the poorly handled consultation with Millie, that Carrie has my brows looking absolutely beautiful. read more
