I think brows really frame the face and I didn't like how my eyebrows were becoming sparse with my left one thinning more. I had been curious about permanent makeup, both brows and liner, for years. I browsed online and checked out multiple artists. I read through hundreds of Yelp reviews! I did my homework and had several consults. I loved meeting Demi and she put me at ease. Demi really listened to what I wanted. She could also tell after our meeting and looking at my face what would look best on me. I was impressed by her knowledge and experience. Her salon is small, but spotless. It's located within the Sola Salon building. On the day of the treatment, Demi had booked the entire afternoon for me so she could take her time. She was very methodical. She measured my brows, sketched out an outline and asked for my approval. I started to relax at this point because I was SO nervous having never had any sort of permanent procedure. She suggested and showed me the colors she recommended. My brows were then numbed and she did both microblading and shading. I didn't feel any pain at all. After my brows were completed, Demi did my lash line eyeliner. She drew a sample line first and numbed my eyes. The procedure did not hurt, but it was more uncomfortable because it's so close to my eyeballs. :) Demi finished everything in 3 hours. She went over my after care instructions and sent me home with products to use. She was so sweet and told me to text her with any questions. The results?!! It's been 10 days and I love it! I have to admit that my brows were crazy dark the first few days. My boys were shocked. Haha. I followed Demi's aftercare instructions exactly. There were a few days of itching and flaking, but my brows are now mostly healed, a lighter color and feel good. I will see Demi in a month for a touch up. Was going on a girls' trip to Vegas and did all kinds of dolling/pampering up to prepare (hair,…read morenails, new outfits, shoes, all the things). I knew I wanted my brows to be perfect but didn't want to commit to permanent make up. I came across BAM Beauty's IG post about doing a lamination and tint as an alternative and immediately made an appointment. I was IN LOVE with the results and felt so beautiful and confident with my full, shapely brows. PLEASE NOTE that if you do get this done, your brows will look VERY DARK in the first day or two, so don't make any dinner plans after your appointment (see picture *with caution*). Get your brows tinted about a week ahead of whatever it is you want to look your best for. I had my appointment on a Saturday and went to Vegas the following Thursday and my brows had faded perfectly by then! They looked very natural and pretty.

The two Gel manicures my partner received came out beautifully, so if you're not on a time crunch and that is all you are looking for, you will walk out happy. My first visit was a fill, as the integrity of my previous Gel-X was maintained, and overall both the fill, shaping, and nail are were satisfactory. I needed a new set on this visit, and things went downhill quickly. I pointed out that numerous nails were too narrow, and it was shrugged off (some builder gel was placed on the sides, but nothing further.) He then tried to push acrylic on me, and laughed when I expressed that acrylic does not work for me, and I had not previously had issues with Gel-X over nearly two years. I would have walked out if I had the option. As a result, not a single pair of fingers is consistent (as pictured,) the "stiletto" tips are not centered, the shaping is horribly unflattering on my hands, not one nail has a proper apex due to the initial application being significantly longer than the length I expressed I would want. The "cat-eye" I paid additional for is barely noticeable. At least the color itself is pretty. Back to the drawing board, as my quest for a competent apres gel-x tech in the area now continues.

If I had known how effective--and surprisingly painless--microblading could be, I would've done it much sooner. Kathy is a true expert at what she does. The procedure itself was virtually painless, and she took her time to ensure the final result looked completely natural. What was supposed to be a 1.5-hour appointment turned into a two-hour session simply because she's so meticulous and detail-oriented. I'm only two weeks out from my appointment, and I've already booked my touch-up. A little back story: I've had my brows microbladed twice in the past by other artists. The first…read moretime was not a great experience and it left my brows uneven. In the last 10 years they have faded into a greyish color but I held off on getting them touched up because of the pain of microblading. Jamie is phenomenal! She addressed ALL of the little details that bothered me about my brows. She started off by doing a color correction to take out the gray. I never thought I would be able to achieve perfect symmetry after getting them done previously by another artist, but someone Jamie was able to do it! She explained every detail to me and made sure I was comfortable before starting. I felt extremely at ease during the whole process. And the icing on top of the cake... it was PAINLESS! Tried calling the number twice and no answer. The strangest experience I've ever had. I'm just hoping I don't get charged a no show fee afterwards. Still inside as I'm writing this.
