I requested a hair cut for "long hair" and the price was 75.00 not including my tip. I cut a little over a foot of hair off. WHAT I REQUESTED: hair length in between my collar bone and above my chest. Daniel suggested what length would fit my needs. I requested NO LAYERS IN THE BACK. Face framing bangs (because I often blow out my hair) and Daniel made the decision to blend my face framing bangs to the length of my hair. I received a wash, blow dry, and blow out. I am providing photos of my hair before (from the back) and my hair post cut and styled. Daniel was super attentive to all the things I wanted in the cut, even factored in some events I was going to have in the coming months and what styles I can achieve if my hair were to grow out a bit more. Once the hair cut experience was over, he showed me which products he used and suggested some tips on some hair product questions I had. It has now been an entire month since my first call trying to schedule. On three separate occasions, I was told directly by the manager that "I will call or text you back myself, or you'll hear from your stylist TODAY." Not once, not a single time, have I received any type of follow-up. What makes this even more disappointing is that I'm just trying to book a simple haircut, not color, not bleach, not a treatment, just a trim. The fact that a basic appointment can't be scheduled after a month is extremely unprofessional. I honestly feel awful that the stylists are losing appointments because management cannot handle basic communication. And honestly, why put "call to book" in your Instagram bio if you can't even book one haircut appointment? I will absolutely return as soon as someone finally calls me back, and I'll gladly rewrite this review. But unfortunately, it seems this is the only way for me to bring attention to this issue now.

She understood my hair like it was her life's calling. She even refreshed my highlights for my wedding, and I swear I floated down the aisle shimmering like a sunbeam. Then life whisked me away to Orange County for a bit. New city, new grocery stores, new salons. I tried other stylists -- nice ones, talented ones -- but something was always... off. The vibes weren't the same. My hair wasn't the same. So when I moved back to Redlands, I basically sprinted back to my comfort zone: Palazzo. Then Kendra moved away, I panicked for about five minutes before finding Emerald. And oh my gosh... Em is magic. I can bring her the vaguest Pinterest screenshot or a grainy selfie from 2016 and she'll just smile, nod, and whip my hair into exactly what I pictured. Every time I leave her chair, I walk out feeling fresher, lighter, somehow more me. She's also just the easiest human to talk to. Friendly, easy-going, the kind of person who makes the whole appointment feel like catching up with a friend who also happens to wield scissors like a goddess. The whole salon has that vibe. Warm. Pretty. Everyone smiling. And don't even get me started on their chai tea. The BEST chai that makes you want to sit there forever, pretending real life doesn't exist outside those doors.
