The next day, i call to get an estimate on delivery and was told that the driver wouldn't be able to deliver the items. (I've had tractor trailers deliver before) They told me that i could come and get 1600lbs palette off of the truck if i wanted to. Now they are planning to attempt to redeliver AGAIN Monday using a smaller truck. I never recieved a call, I've had to hire people 3 times to help unload only to have to tell them that the delivery wasn't coming. I called customer service and the "manager " Jessica Scott, and her associate Pi Saan both were completed incompetent and took zero accountability. Pi Saan actually told me that she didn't think i should be upset with her. Honestly, this is a reflection of poor management. It's obvious that UPS doesn't care because they have poor ratings across the board and no one is addressing any of it.

However, I'm glad I saved JFP Express in my drafts because their service was excellent. I contacted three different companies through Yelp, but ultimately chose JFP Express because they were the only ones who provided an all-inclusive price with no hidden fees--unlike the other companies. I find it frustrating when businesses try to extract as much as they can from customers through various pretexts and dishonest practices. JFP Express, however, was honest and transparent from the start. Jason was very courteous and communicative, arranging everything seamlessly. As a contractor, be prepared to be treated like an employee. You will be harassed like no other if…read morethey feel like you've missed something or made a mistake. The apology will never be as loud as the accusation once proven wrong. Rates might as well be written on a napkin because nothing is concrete. If your settlement is wrong, you will have to go through Congress to get it corrected (if they even correct it.) The rates for the routes will barely be enough to make any money after paying for gas, tolls, and the accelerated costs of vehicle maintenance. The technology used is antiquated. The only thing dispatch or "management" care about is whether you're late or not. Payroll is really ran by 1 person who is too preoccupied with their own route to be able to ensure the contracted driver's pay is correct. Turnover is very high. Proceed with caution.

Purchased something from Lowes in which they used this courier to deliver it to me. Did not respond to any of the 10 emails. 5 phone numbers later with help from another branch in PA they helped locate it and to finally get it delivered. The rep named Dixie in Baltimore was useless and proved incompetent as not only did she not call back as she promised she also couldnt locate the box in her own location and needed PA to do her job. Never even apologized for being wrong.
