For example, in the golf/tennis section, there is one tiny rack of women's stuff next to five or six of men's. There is a very large Columbia section in men's and only a pink windbreaker for women. Compared to the offerings at Dick's, all of the women's apparel were solids or neutral colors. There was a lot left to be desired there. In the shoe section, I noticed that Brooks is not an available brand. I think for some reasons it would make sense to come here for sporting equipment and apparel, but more for men than women. It was well-staffed but when I asked someone a question, he did not know the answer.

One sign had the jeans listed at $64.99 and the other sign had the same jeans listed at $54.99, with no differences in the signs except the price. When I asked at the customer service desk which price I would receive, the employee rang up the jeans at the $64 pair. I showed him the photo of the tags next to each other. His comment was that the jeans might be different since one pair was lighter. I enlarged the screen to help him see that the jeans under that $54 sign were a different model. He contacted his supervisor who also commented that it was an error and someone had not removed the sign. She also commented that she was going back to remove the $54.00 sign. They did not offer to sell me the jeans at the lower cost, (so much for their price match, huh). Instead, they were very solid in not selling the jeans at the reduced cost. What I did not disclose to them was I had two t-shirts at $23 each, plus another item for $120.00, and a pair of shoes for $80.00 that was also an intention to purchase. Essentially, because they were adamant about not reducing the jeans to $10 each for a $20 reduction of my cost, they lost a $330 sale, and a desire for me to never shop in their store again.

I purchased 2 sizes unaware how they would fit. Within 5 days I had both hats figured out my sizing and contacted the store about a return for the one that didn't fit. They approved my return no questions asked. I hope during felt season they get some American felts in especially that evergreen or black cherry color. A touch they included in my order was a handwritten note I thought that was a great touch. I will definitely be ordering more in the future.

Then I went to the bra section and the same thing happened - the women there talked to me and said twice, "can I help you with anything? DO you know how these work?" I know she was probably just trying so hard to help- but it made me feel uncomfortable, I know bras and straps and all the stuff - if I need help, I will ask! They should hire a buyer who can order fun clothing for the stor e- there are many young professionals in this town who came from big cities, or people who are fit and in their 30's who need professional clothing that is not too cheesy and old fashioned and not teen clothing either. The women's clothing section was very neat and organized. I worked for Target a couple years ago as a seasonal employee and that clearance area in soft lines can be a BEAR to keep tidy. Everything in the women's clothing area was "as it should be" and the employees greeted me when I was looking around. The electronics section....I was looking for a screen protector for my Samsung. Unfortunately your store carries mainly for IPhones, but the employee was very helpful in trying to find something for me before we decided I needed to order something online. While food shopping, I found everything well-stocked, neat, and organized. The entire shopping experience was very pleasurable and a joy! Checking out, I met Ms. Barbara....who really is beyond kind, and has this spirit about her that is wonderful! She is in the perfect job doing checkout as she can have guests leave the store smiling, feeling good about their purchases, and, even if it is a frazzled parent with a small child, have a moment of joy talking to Barbara. I had to split my order in two and she was gracious about that as well as helping me decide if I had gotten enough items for the party. The guest before me did not know about the App or Target Circle (I have the red card from when I worked for Target and use the App as well as Target Circle quite often). Barbara took a moment to inform the guest about it and how beneficial it would be for that guest.
