I think she was the only person working in the store and at times it got pretty busy. I thought the prices were high on merchandise. The shoes on sale were a good price and they did have quite a few sale shoes. The problem I ran into is they had a very limited supply of larger 4E (extrawide) shoes. So I think they need to amp their selection up in these shoes!

Yes - in middle…read moreAmerica, there is a place you can go for an amazing shoe-fitting experience and walk out with a pair of shoes so comfortable, you're sure they were custom made on the spot just for you! This place reminds me of the old Family Shoe Store in downtown Williston, ND, where I grew up. Mom and dad would take us down once a year for new school shoes, we would be measured, talked to and fitted by the owners. You felt like you were with family. That is exactly how Brown's Shoe Fit feels. It's many decades since I was at Family Shoe...walking into Brown's feels like walking home. The staff at Brown's Shoe Fit is knowledgeable and friendly. Cory and Kennedy are tops! They are not medically trained, yet know so much about what your body SHOULD feel like in a pair of decent shoes. They will spend all day if that's what it takes to help you find the one that is your perfect fit. Or maybe you will walk two or three - after all seasons change! Try it out - here's what you would experience: * a warm greeting * immediate interaction and inquiry to accommodate your needs * non-pushy salespeople * time to browse until your heart's content * personalized service - they'll measure your foot, listen for any red flags (foot, back, neck issues), and then spend as much time as it takes to find your perfect shoe If you've never been to Brown's, the only regret in life you'll have to live with is that you never took the time to stop in. You don't want to live with that, do you? Now go out and get that perfect shoe! P.S. I'm kind of a Birkenstock freak - so I just can't help constantly checking out what's new!!

I am the most amateurish amateur in terms of all things hair and make-up. I have no clue what I am…read moredoing, and my hair is always long, straight, and brown. Except, now it has grey (I learned recently to refer to the grey hairs as sparkles). In my cluelessness, I was referred to come here by lots of wise people, and started initially with the medium golden brown in the Age Beautiful brand. It was blah, so I came back for help. The staff here is so patient and knowledgeable. A staff member recommended Clairol true color cream, and helped me pick out Cocoa Bean as my color. I love this color and it really works for me, giving my hair dimension and even compliments from people who noticed. I am always shocked people can tell I dyed my hair and also think it looks good. Who knows what I am doing?! When the store reopened in May after the pandemic was going long-term, I came in and bought out all Cocoa Bean boxes because it is often sold out online and only sold through Sally Beauty. When I come in here with my mask, I feel like the staff are being nice saying colors would look good "on me" when they cannot see most of my face, but perhaps they have powers to see through masks. I was just in here getting a little bit more bold with colors, and the staff spent a lot of time talking through what the numbers and letters mean on these boxes. I was really aiming for a violet-based color and bought a Clairol flare me dark Keep Calm and Berry On, but I also grabbed Copper Shadows (red). Eric R. said he was not ready for me to have purple-ish hair, so I went with red. Of course, it made my hair darker than the hair swatch in the store, but probably because I do not know what I am doing. Nevertheless, it looks seemingly natural so I am impressed with whatever these wonderful women keep telling me because everything seems to work out.

3 stars for the fact that they have the items I need BUT always dislike the staff…read more - I work in retail so I know that when someone says they don't need help that you leave them alone and check on them every now and again. This gal would comment on products I picked up, EVERYTIME, I kid you not, and I've worked in multiple salons and beauty retailers so i'm not new, and have experience and have learned tips and tricks. This lady gave me a hard time about when she offered me animal placenta hair leave in that I got grossed out, but said "so you're not grossed out by that mask smell, but placenta grosses you out? that's weird". - Like what? that's so rude, i'm the customer, don't think I can't or won't just walk next door to target, but they had a good hair mask sale so I decided to just buy what I wanted and left. In other experiences being a military spouse it's free to sign up for the card and I only found this out from them offering it to the lady in front of me, but when they offered it to me they never mentioned it and kept pushing it (being $5 regularly) so I would say no. - Generally, all the ladies who work here are annoying, pushy, judgmental and rude. And i've gone in more than enough times to interact with each employee. I would rate 1 star for how terrible the staff is - be prepared to be annoyed senseless and feel picked on. 3 stars because of product selection. That's it.
