The service people are professional, timely and pricing is more that reasonable. My furnace was only 9 years old (that DeHaan installed) with a 10 yr warrenty. After several attempts to "fix" it, the conculsion was to install a new furnace vs a band aid as there was no way of knowing how long the band aid would hold. Obtaining the new furnace, installing, pricing and professionalism of all involved is beyond compare. I was given another 10 year warrenty to boot and remember to turn in a form to get the $200 rebate from consumers energy. Above all, the installers left the basement clean and just as they found it when they enterd my home. If anyone is looking for a professional, reliable and reasonble heating and cooling company, I highly recommend DeHaan Heating and Cooling. Thank you DeHaan and Merry Christmas.

To hire a boiler companies to come out and replace pipes is insanely expensive, and not really worth it if they are not working on the boiler itself. (I don't think the pipe cares who replaces it)! That part out of the way, after having major disasters in the past, and calling some local boiler companies (who I won't name), I tried Preferred plumbing last year and again this morn. They came out and fixed it before there was any damage. Unlike the boiler company who was scheduled out for weeks and let me stew in my own live steam. Matt, and Brett, and Cooper are the best! Great guys - they know what they're doing, and they don't waste your time. They're so personable, I probably wasted THEIR time talking to them too much! I'm so satisfied that I have decided to finally replace the waterline in my house sometime in the next few months, using Preferred Plumbing, because I completely trust them now. Not only were they quick to respond, they did great work, they did it well, and as usual, they came in at a very reasonable price. I grew up in Michigan, but I've only been back here since 2015, and you know how hard it is to find professionals that you can trust in a new town. I totally trust Matt and his crew, and I would suggest that if you have any plumbing/heating needs you give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

The initial setup seemed competent, yet persistent issues soon surfaced, requiring four repair visits where each "fix" only spawned new problems--like refrigerant leaks, coil malfunctions, and evaporator failures not covered by their warranty. For instance, they charged $1,000 to repair an evaporator leak, only to insist two months later that the entire unit needed replacement at another $2,000--all while billing me for refrigerant refills every time. To make matters worse, their administrative handler was consistently rude, dismissive, and lacking in empathy, turning every interaction into an unnecessary burden. In conclusion, finding reliable HVAC services these days feels nearly impossible--true craftsmanship just isn't what it used to be. That said, the customer service at Nieboer is exceptionally poor, miserable rather; even the simplest conversations with their employees fall well short of basic cognitive function. unfortunately adding insult to injury.

What an amazing experience we've had with Grapids! From start to finish the process was wonderful…read more Todd came out within hours of calling to get a quote to upgrade our furnace and add AC to our home. Our furnace was over 20 years old functioning but a bit of a head scratcher. Additionally we needed to upgrade our electrical panel. Grapids was able to subcontract that for us too. Tyler and Eric came out the very next day (bright and early) and spent the day reconstruction our HVAC system. Prior to their arrival we decided to add a humidifier to the unit. The office was seemlessly able to add that to our work order. Todd swang back out to check in on the progress and make sure we were happy. Throughout the day several members of Grapid came through to bring supplies and check in. The stars of the show were definitely Tyler and Eric who worked until after 7pm to complete the HVAC job. They worked well together and I could overhear them as I graded papers upstairs. They treated each other with respect and humor. It was so refreshing to have work done in our home by such wonderful people. They even took the time to FaceTime with my husband who was at work to show the final product and answer all of his questions. Without hesitation I will recommend Grapids (specifically Todd, Tyler and Eric) to anyone! I came back to add we had quotes from three different companies and Grapid was under the others AND included upgrading our electrical panel with one of their subcontractors.

He greeted us politely and took time to ask relative questions regarding the installation of a wall outlet. Edgar is courteous, professional, knowledgeable. He explained the entire process, did a safety check, and it's evident he is well trained. He did not rush us into deciding our options. It was frustrating to pay for a service that didn't resolve the problem or provide a clear diagnosis. We called the company to explain what happened and requested a refund for the service call, but we never received a return phone call. The lack of communication was just as disappointing as the service itself. Based on our experience, I can't recommend this company. I hope they improve both their troubleshooting and their customer service.
