I've probably driven past this place a hundred times, and I can't believe I've never tried it! Finally stopped in for the first time today, and WOW. The vibes were immaculate, the customer service was fabulous, and everything I tried tasted insanely delicious. I've never had anything like their vanilla Scottish Tablet, but it was incredible. I only ordered one, but I feel like I could've eaten 12 more. I'm gluten-free, so I can't speak to how their scones are, but the fudge and toffee are all GF! We ordered the lemon lavender scone and some dark and milk chocolate toffee, and both were fresh and delicious. They offer both private parking and street parking, which makes visiting convenient. There's also a lovely patio area in addition to comfortable indoor seating. Unbeknownst to me, there is a cute British scone and toffee shop just down the street from Citrus College. I stopped by on a Saturday morning and picked up a variety of scones and also tried their namesake toffee. I selected a butterscotch, chocolate chip, and cranberry orange scones and also added a single piece of dark chocolate/almond toffee. The scones were really good, tender and pretty moist. I also enjoyed the texture of the toffee, which was just the right crispness. There's a tiny private parking lot with six spaces; however, street/neighborhood parking is plentiful. Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) is across Citrus College. Staff is absolutely delightful. Staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and smiley. Staff actively greeted every new customer. Staff immediately helped me. Staff also answered all my questions, and Staff worked quickly. My order was completed within one minute. Extremely fast! As mentioned, I ordered the "Hot Drink & Scone" Signature Pairing ($7). The Dark Roast Coffee is functional and freshly brewed. It was not bitter nor acidic; rather, it tasted clean. Its flavor is unmemorable, but its caffeine is appreciated. However, the Cinnamon Chip Scone was definitely the highlight! It reminded me of a warm, fresh lightly sweetened biscuit with a firm, crumbly crust. As I nibbled, I immediately embraced this pastry's velvety softness & gentle sweetness. The cinnamon flavor floated ever so gently. "Delicious!" Regarding ambiance, Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) is a poor study spot. I found zero electrical outlets for devices. There is no customer restroom; only employees can use the restroom. Staff also informed me that there's no customer internet. Fortunately, the location had pleasant, soothing guitar music on its speakers. Also, the location is relatively clean with its shiny tables. Unfortunately, there's very noticeable thick, uncleaned dust along the windows' crevices. Also, the floor looked worn down with faint muddy shoe prints. However, Brown's English Toffee (Glendora) does have a good amount of tables. The interior contains three small tables with one tall counter with four high chairs. The exterior has four tables with open umbrellas for shade. Regardless, this business felt like an order-and-go spot. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Brown's English Toffee (Glendora). I observed many elderly customers enter-and-leave just to purchase their freshly baked scones. I also appreciated its quality coffee and spectacular service. They've redone the place and it's very welcoming. The counter is full of toffee and other treats (Celtic Candy). I bought about $35 worth of treats to try and split at home. I was in search of ice cold coffee but not frosty and I came across this place that looks lofty. I ordered two of their drinks that read very interesting. First up was the Iced Toffee Espresso with toffee flavor and caramel drizzle. Ok so there was a sign that I didn't pay attention to that said to pair up with some of their sweets. Man, I should've because my latte would've paired up perfectly with one of them. So next up was their Irish Cream White Mocha. We're so glad they're finally open! We were intrigued by a toffee place in Glendora and made sure to put in our calendar to visit. There is a small parking lot, but we had no issues parking on a Saturday around 11am. Inside is beautifully decorated, bright and very clean. There are a few tables inside as well as an outdoor seating area. We wanted to try their toffee of course so we had an assorted 1/4 pound and added a butterscotch toffee scone. We also had a coffee and an earl grey crème tea. Prices are reasonable and even better , everything we purchased was delicious. The toffee was crisp and surprisingly not too sweet and paired well with our drinks. I loved that the scone wasn't too dry and was perfectly sweetened. We've been longtime customers of Brown's English Toffee, dating back to their original Fiddletown location. We travel up that way often and would stop regularly, and every Christmas we place a large order for our family and friends. We also order throughout the year for ourselves--so this has truly been a go-to tradition for us. We were excited to learn they had moved to the Glendora . We'd been wanting to visit the new location and finally had the opportunity to do so. The shop itself is really cute, though parking is limited. They offer a nice selection of espresso drinks, hot chocolate, scones, and of course their well-known toffee and fudge. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. The staff wasn't very friendly, and we later learned the business is under new ownership. After so many years of loyal support, it felt disappointing that there was no sense of appreciation or connection to longtime customers--it left a bit of a bad taste and made us less eager to return. We were also surprised that scones aren't warmed, whether you're dining in or taking them to go, making the coffee or hot chocolate the only truly "hot" item. That said, the toffee itself is still excellent and very much worth recommending. We'll likely continue to enjoy it--but may stick to ordering online rather than visiting the shop in person. read more

We've been wanting to go here for along time now but never could make it during their opening hours. We finally made it today with 8 minutes to spare before closing and it was soooo worth it! The lady helping us was so kind and explained to us what toffee actually is and all the options they offer. We ended up getting a scone, fudge, Scottish tablet and toffee. All were so good! We walked in and the displays were setup neatly and labeled without any confusion. The lighting and atmosphere were perfect too. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions with patience. All these positive things and we hadn't even tried the food yet lol. The family ordered iced coffee, hot cocoa, a variety of scones/croissants as well as some toffee. The coffee wasn't overpowered with any fake syrups or flavors which was a positive for me. Additives were available to modify your drink on the side table. As far as the baked goods, it was a toss up for the crowd favorite being between the lemon blueberry scones and the perfectly baked croissant. Regardless, nothing was left over.
