We had cheeseburgers and fries. Our server was prompt and happy to be there. The drink selection is enormous. Everything from a draft beer to Pappy Van Wrinkle bourbon. They'll even make you smoked drinks with the smoking boards or smoke infuser. People were bowling, having fun, dancing, and just plain being friendly. 1 Star - Serious Health Concern…read more While visiting Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids, my family and I witnessed a German cockroach crawling on the salad bar, which was supposed to be fresh and ready for guests. I immediately notified management. The only response I received was, "Oh my goodness." There was no attempt to remove food, clean the area, or address the issue in any way. Because of this, we chose to leave and not eat our food. A roach is disturbing on its own, but a German cockroach is commonly associated with infestations, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I have photo and video evidence of what we saw. Additionally, the restaurant appeared severely understaffed. We waited over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated. This experience was unacceptable and concerning from a public health standpoint. I do not recommend eating at this location and will not be returning.
