1 Star - Serious Health Concern While visiting Ruby Tuesday in Roanoke Rapids, my family and I witnessed a German cockroach crawling on the salad bar, which was supposed to be fresh and ready for guests. I immediately notified management. The only response I received was, "Oh my goodness." There was no attempt to remove food, clean the area, or address the issue in any way. Because of this, we chose to leave and not eat our food. A roach is disturbing on its own, but a German cockroach is commonly associated with infestations, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. I have photo and video evidence of what we saw. Additionally, the restaurant appeared severely understaffed. We waited over 20 minutes just to be acknowledged and seated. This experience was unacceptable and concerning from a public health standpoint. I do not recommend eating at this location and will not be returning. read more

Ordered take out and took them 1hour and ten minutes to get the order. At the hour mark I asked for a refund and she said no, the manager said it's not their policy. I said by law I'm allowed to have my refund after one hour. She said buy law she can throw me out for disorderly conduct! There where two other ladies that heard it and said - WOW.... I went in the restaurant to get my order took almost an hour I had two orders I checked my order for the cheesesteaks. I only one cheesesteak and some fries. I told them that this is not correct that I ordered the two cheese with no combo only the two they tried to tell me that for double meat, which was wrong as you can see on the picture that it says double it up and after going back and forth with several of the managers in the restaurant, They even took a picture of my order that I had placed online. Definitely recommend, especially if Dee is working!! So many choices on the menu that there was something for everyone! Topping off the delicious and excellent food was our friendly and lively server, Dee. We stopped by on our trip from VA to SC and were looking for healthier options. Two of us had smash burgers (they weren't the diners in our group concerned with healthier options) and others had the outstanding deconstructed kabobs, one shrimp and the other chicken. Worst service ever. Didn't bring us what we ordered and couldn't be bothered to correct it or not charge for what we didn't get. This was probably the worst meal I have had service wise. Food was okay - no complaints, but once we placed our order we had to go to the bar to get ask for refills or ask for anything. so I came to Ruby Tuesday for lunch when I got there I was greeted by Carlton he said he was the acting General Manager he was so nice he had the biggest smile he greeted me and my coworker he even assisted the server with helping us with our order. he made sure our food was cooked the way we wanted it he also went as far as to show us how to set up our app to receive rewards. 1 Visited establishment on 5/5/24. We were seated at 4 pm order for food a placed few minutes later only to arrive about an hour later. Salad bar was messy food all over bar and on floor. We have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for items and dressing to be added to the bar. Cajun pasta had absolutely no sauce when asked for sauce was told it was be extra per cup of sauce. Broccoli was cold rice was very dTy no taste. I go there often but this was the worse ever. I'm not sure why when I walk in at 6:30 on a Friday night the kitchen is closed. I ask to be seated until it opens & just have a drink while I wait. Nope. Can't sit until the kitchen opens. We were just traveling through and have in the past loved Ruby Tuesdays salad bar. Not here though. As we were waiting to be seated 15 minutes( staff was sitting in a bench booth visiting) we looked over the salad bar. The pickings were scarce, lettuce wilted and the presentation was dirty and not appealing at all. Not wanting to get food poisoning we chose to leave. I can't recommend this place. I would not bother to submit a review but I'm upset that we were overcharged. We couldn't get a copy of our receipt so we didn't know how badly we were overcharged. Seriously who doesn't let you review the receipt? They texted it to us but it was a week later. We were charged for a salad and an extra beer we didn't get. The service was slow and the waiter would walk by us 2 or 3 times before actually getting what we asked for. The place smells bad. How can anyone give this place a bad review? This location is fun as hell The employees are goofy and fun- I'm the only white girl here and walked in like a bat out of hell. But they got plenty of booze. And a fun crowd. The food is gross AF The shrimp app i got looked like dog poop with garnish I'm taking food back to my hotel God knows the gelatinous muck I'm bringing back to my family at the hotel. Lunchtime visit. Seated promptly my the hostess. The RT menu has changed, so that the Garden Fresh salad bar is now included on most entrees. Nice change! I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pasta with the Salad Bar. I've ordered this at other locations, and it had always been served on a rectangle plate. This location served it in a huge bowl, which has nothing to do with the taste, but was certainly not as visually appealing. Have to go with 3 stars instead of 4 because of my server. Server was wrong about coupon. -- I had a coupon, buy 1 get 1/2 off the lowest price of 2 items. Ordered the 16 oz Hickory Bourbon pork chop and wife ordered the Hickory Bourbon chicken (small). When i got ready to pay, I handed waiter the coupon. He said I couldn't use it because the pork chop was a promotional item. Also, when I ordered he said there would be upcharge for broccoli instead of apple listed with the pork chop. I paid the bill as it was with no discount. When I got home, I did an order online for the same items as a pickup order. The coupon was accepted and 50% was deducted for the lower priced item. Also, I was able to sub broccoli for the apples at no extra cost. Waiter was misinformed or incorrect or whatever the case may have been and cost me and extra $8.00. For my hometown, this is one of only 3 places to get the perfectly prepared steak. The other two are David's on he Avenue and my wife's kitchen. We have had the pleasure of being seated with many servers and they're all amazing. We especially love Jeff who seems to remember every time we've been there and goes out of his way to make sure we are always happy. My children and wife love Ruby Tuesdays, as do I. This is not a club. Turn it down. Waiter took forever to get to me. I was about ready to walk out before he took my order. A few employees sat at a table next to me getting silverware together while complaining... about the job... the schedule... other people not helping them. Ugh. Food came out i ordered the asiago bacon chicken. It looked pathetic. Clearly the worst one i have ever ordered. Basicly 2 chicken fillets with a bit of cream sauce a few mushrooms, 3 flakes of ...bacon...? Maybe? And a sad couple of cheese flakes. The mashed potatoes looked nothing like the pic on the menu. This is literally one of the worst dining establishments I've been in. The wait staff was extremely slow and inconsiderate of the guests experience. Several were very rude and yelled across the restaurant multiple times from/to the kitchen. We waited at the bar prior to placing drink orders for 10min and another 10 to get our drinks and put our food orders in. I had to dig through 3 plates on the salad bar prior to finding a clean one.
