I came in here because they're advertising they're selling live bait As soon as I walked in I just said hello and asked if they had any minnows. The girl behind the counter just said no and a flat tone and that was it. Then the other guy in there mixed ethnicity with short hair says we have goldfish. But if I don't have my own container they charge $5 for a container. All I said was dang. Then he said to the girl $6. The girl then said to me smuggly now it's $6. I just shrugged it off and asked her does she know if goldfish work for Bass and she said I don't know anything about that. I then asked her about the artificial worms they had she said I don't know anything about that either in a rude voice. I asked her how could she talk to a customer like that. She said well you don't have to buy it if you don't want to and I said this is ridiculous. She handed me my $5 back and took the worms. She said there you go "you get what you deserved". I was so mad all I could do is just sit in the car and stare for a few minutes then I seen the owner in this front yard and I asked him how he could let his employees talk to people like that. He said he would talk to her but he didn't offer to give me any worms. Thank God I found a gas station just around the corner on the way to palo Verde park. They had worms minnows and anchovies for a good price.

This weekend was my second trip to Gem World and it's now on my regular rotation any time I go to…read moreArizona. Gem world is just what it sounds like, gems - rocks - beads - if it's a stone or gem you will likely find it here. This place is Disneyland for us rock nerds. The store is on overload and every time I walk in here I am completely overwhelmed in the best way. This store is gigantic and has rows upon rows of inventory. I was in the store for about an hour because there is just so much to see and experience. This store is pretty cool because it's famous. While I was wandering around I heard so many people share where they were from and people come here from all across the states. The prices here are extremely reasonable and I'll never buy from anywhere else. The stones and gems are real but they get them from what looks like to be overseas so they are able to charge them at such a reasonable rate. For example I bought two giant pink geode candle holders that very well would have cost me about $40 each at Anthropologie. Here they were $4 each! Come on! Everyone that shops here has their carts filled to the brim because you'll just never experience another place like it. People who are wholesalers shop here as well and up charge their product at other stores. Think about the last time you went into a tarot store or stone shop and the prices were pretty high, I feel confident to say they get some products from here given the prices so better to just come here to the source. The staff here are so freaking friendly and nice. 5 stars for attentiveness, politeness and helpfulness. Everyone that works here is so nice and welcoming. This store is a definitely a must stop shop if you are passing through into AZ or CA. Just regroup so you don't get overloaded with all of the "stuff" and once you get past that you'll be shocked how much you can find and at a great price.

When I first discovered it many years ago it was pretty nice, it has grown to ridiculous level. It might be a warehouse for a distributor. The prices are below any I've seen in a store. The conditions felt just right, better than I can say for many tobacco and cigar shops. The gas station also has pretty good gas & diesel prices and the pumps are very roomy, even for large vehicles and trailers. They have a quizno's and pizza for fresh made foods, as well as the usual gas station stuff, and a lot of car & truck supplies.

First off, the humidor is huge, nicely arranged, and well maintained. Humidity felt just right. There is a HUGE selection, and it's arranged well to let you browse comfortably. There are standard basics, a good selection of inexpensive house sticks, and lots of premium cigars. There are also a few you don't often see in stores. The prices are lower than many of the stores in the city. I was surprised by that. In fact some were priced just a little over mail order pricing. The house sticks are super-cheap, and so far the one I've smoked was very good. Not in the class of the super-premiums, but far better than most generic cigars. This is well worth a visit if you're cruising between CA and AZ. Oh, and since it's in AZ you avoid the ridiculous cigar taxes in CA.
