If you love rocks you'll love this place !!! Rocks, rocks and more rocks. All colors, shapes, sizes, and prices. Very well organized for having thousands of rocks to choose from. Break your own geodes, polished rocks, rocks carved into figures and so much more. These people know there rocks. They offer bags for your smaller rocks, umbrellas to keep the sun off, wet towels or oven mittens for handling hot rocks. If you love rocks, this is a must stop shop !!!

This little spot is amazing. We were driving back to California from Sedona and were beyond excited to find this place open. I really wanted to bring something back home from our trip, but nothing really spoken to me in Sedona. As soon as I walk into this little rock yard I feel amazing. Like a kid in a candy store. They have a huge selection and do whole sale prices. We spoke to Theresa for quite a while. She is great, very inviting and helpful and so patient, as I took my time going from table to table. I found my little treasures and fell in love w a gorgeous amethyst, that I just quite can't afford yet, but am certain in meant for me, so I will be returning . I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend anyone driving by this little town that is into rocks, crystals, and minerals to stop by.

I spent $100 on crystals and gems. When I went home to wash the dust off with water all the dye started to come off and the crystal started disintegrating. This place is fraud!!!!!! Also crystal points are just made of glass.

Really cool outdoor store run by a super nice couple and their adorable dog, Mocha, selling rocks, petrified wood, crystals, a bit of jewelry and other nick-nacks. I bought a few crystals and pendulums. Their prices are amazing compared to any store in Los Angeles. A must visit place if your nearby and worth the drive even if you're not! It can get really hot out here...be sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. A hat ain't a bad idea either.

Very nice people and cool product offered at great prices and a cute dog too! Got some pretty pendulums at prices that would have been much higher in the Los Angeles area.

GREAT for beginners. best organized source for stone that I visited in quartzsite - everything well labelled, priced, scales and water sprayers everywhere. vast selection of rough, slab, tumbled - you name it. the owners are VERY helpful and have clearly been there a while - also, they take credit cards. may be a bit more expensive that some other sources in town, but still cheaper than my local sources and MUCH better stocked.

    Tons of rocks!

I SO enjoyed my visit, and I forgot about the heat while Theresa told me about the Fenton glass I purchased.

Tyson Wells can be best described as a swap meet focused on rocks and minerals. But unlike the Desert Gardens show ( down the road), which is focused only on rocks and minerals, the Tyson Wells show has many more vendors selling junk items made in China. That's probably the biggest negative about this show. You'll find everything here from animal skulls, to glass pipes ( like the ones you see on Live PD), and they even have a grocery store that sells mostly expired food items that were discarded from grocery stores. Perhaps one of the saddest things I saw was that one vendor was selling stalagmites and stalactites in one of the dark alleys. It's illegal to collect, buy, and sell stalagmites in several states. So should you still go here? If you're driving the 10 in January, definitely! It's free to park and visit and they have so many interesting things for sale here. You'll probably spend more than hour here, but it's worth it. Note - Earlier in the week we visited the Desert Gardens down the road and if you're looking for strictly rocks, minerals and fossils to add to your collection that's a better choice. The Desert Gardens show was family-friendly, Tyson Wells is like a true swap meet so you should treat it as such with your kids. Tip - You MUST visit the actual Tyson Wells Storefront. It's on the main street and you can't miss their sign. It's mostly a gift store and a MASSIVE selection of board games. The owners are soooo friendly to kids...
