An interesting rock yard with piles of glass, rock, and fossils. Quartzite is hot, and most of the rocks here are not under cover. Be careful picking up anything because some of their items can burn you. I'm not too sure what the market for some of these rocks are, I'm assuming garden and ornamental uses. In any case, it's a fun place to check out and stretch your legs. Tip - For smaller mineral items and fossils the prices were better down the street at Gem World. read more

This place is amazing! The quality of the stones and crystals are top notch. The reason I gave this place 5 stars is due to Mike and Theresa. They love what they do and care for their customers. I was extremely impressed by Theresa taking the time to answer my millions of questions and explaining to me how to tell when a crystal Is dyed or natural in color- many places lie to you about this but she puts it out there (they only had a few pieces like this). She tells you that this section is unnatural colors if I wanted any of those, she pointed out which table are glass products and which ones are actual natural crystals. Highly recommend this place. This little spot is amazing. We were driving back to California from Sedona and were beyond excited to find this place open. I really wanted to bring something back home from our trip, but nothing really spoken to me in Sedona. As soon as I walk into this little rock yard I feel amazing. Like a kid in a candy store. They have a huge selection and do whole sale prices. We spoke to Theresa for quite a while. She is great, very inviting and helpful and so patient, as I took my time going from table to table. I found my little treasures and fell in love w a gorgeous amethyst, that I just quite can't afford yet, but am certain in meant for me, so I will be returning . I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend anyone driving by this little town that is into rocks, crystals, and minerals to stop by. read more

Really cool outdoor store run by a super nice couple and their adorable dog, Mocha, selling rocks, petrified wood, crystals, a bit of jewelry and other nick-nacks. I bought a few crystals and pendulums. Their prices are amazing compared to any store in Los Angeles. A must visit place if your nearby and worth the drive even if you're not! It can get really hot out here...be sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. A hat ain't a bad idea either. read more

I visited on Thursday with my family. I absolutely LOVED it! I live in San Diego so it was awesome to shop crystals at a lower price than what I usually pay. The lady that took care of me was getting ready for the storm to roll in but managed to keep us informed of what she had. She was nice enough to let us know that some of the yard would be slick due to rain the day prior. It's a long drive from San Diego. But it's completely worth it if you're an enthusiast! I used the bags to put them in and of-course there is no shade with the assault by the blazing afternoon Sun I hurried with my purchase to pay. They sell rocks by the weight. The lady owner has a wealth of metaphysical knowledge and shares it hard and fast, if you want her to. There is nothing you can't find here. No size they don't have. It's a half acre or so compound with everything from slabs of petrified wood to fingernail sized gemstones. Prices are moderate, and if you can't carry it with you they'll ship it. At first glance, it just looks like a dusty lot with tables set out with rocks on it. After closer inspection, it has many different varieties of rocks in different forms and big boulders and petrified wood, lawn d citations, etc. the lady was knowledgeable and knew where everything was. She also brought out some more rocks that we were looking for from the trailer. The prices were very good! TL;DR: Warm, friendly, informative, chill humans with a frankly overwhelming inventory of rocks of every kind. I stopped here with my partner en route to eastern AZ. We just started getting into rock tumbling and rockhounding, and we were hoping that someone working at a shop like this would be able to give us some hints on a good spot or two nearby. Our wish came true - Theresa, one of the two proprietors, was immediately on the case, pulling books out of her stash to show me exactly where to go. We came home with an incredible haul of Colorado red jasper and a real desire to go back and visit again soon. That is, once we tumble all the gorgeous specimens we found, AND the very reasonably priced pound of unusual Australian jasper we bought. The shop is huge and has an immense variety of stones in every state. The prices for rough were pretty darn good from what little I know, especially because you fill your own baskets to buy. That said, I'd be delighted to put my trust in Theresa to choose rocks for me sometime, since she's already got a lifetime of geological experience. I was worried that the folks here might be snobby to amateurs or weird to deal with, but it was a really relaxing and rewarding interaction with someone enthusiastic and encouraging. On our way to CA we usually stop at the nearby gas station. I've been looking for some mineral rocks online but they're very expensive. Luckily I found this location and they have EVERYTHING when it comes to minerals. Everything is organized so it's very easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are great too. I've been to a lot of rock stores across the southwest (TX, NM, AZ, CA), and T Rocks is one of my favorites. So much fun! So many choices: rough stones, finished stones, collector's pieces, rocks for tourists and children, fossils, etc. I appreciate that unlike many other stores in the area, everything is clearly labeled and priced, the selection is very broad, and the prices are fair. The 108 F temperature didn't hinder me from spending 2 hours outside pouring over the incredible selection of rocks. I got the most beautiful Mexican opals I've ever seen...as well as several bags full of other great rocks. The owners are so nice too! And very knowledgeable. read more

We stopped here recently on the way back from Disneyland. The owners were lovely people, they helped my children and niece pick their geodes, giving them hints on what kind to look for, and the best kind for children to crack open. Reasonably priced with an extremely well organized and huge selection. They will crack geodes for you at no extra charge and even let my kids help crack their geode. Defiantly a place we will stop by again next time we drive through Quartzite. read more
