On a work trip to Quartzite, I had a day off to go adventure and see what cool things I could find. A lovely local pointed me in the direction of the Main Street, since I was looking for some cool crystals or even some native jewelry. I found Main Trading Post, attached to Outback Pizza, I was instantly intrigued by the enormous "Worlds Largest Belt Buckle" hanging out front, along with some cool wood carvings, and a bear in the window with an amazing crystal necklace hanging from its neck. I think I may have found what I'm looking for! Upon entering, I was greeted by Jim. He was super helpful and answered any questions I had while there. I was able to take my time and take in all the different and unique items on offer. From native jewelry, bows and arrows, knives, crystal jewelry galore, moccasins, beaded animals, lots of beautiful items and great selection for gifting! In the glass cases there were many items that were real silver, and each had a sign stating they were 50% off their sticker price. I ended up getting several rings, a beautiful beaded hummingbird to hang in my car, and some cute little Knick knacks for my toddlers, really happy I stopped in this store! I will definitely be back when I pass through Quartzite again. Main Trading Post is definitely worth a visit if you want a good deal, and a unique piece for yourself or a loved one. read more

Oh that large taxidermy grizzly bear was pretty big and scary. I would hate to bump into that creature. They have the world's largest turquoise belt and squash blossom necklace there. They had key chains, jewelry, fabrics, arrows and much more. Staff were nice and helpful. Free shared parking outside. read more

This place is awesome! They had such a large selection of jewelry and the lady at the desk was super helpful and friendly. I asked to see a ton of different rings and she spent a good amount of time with me helping me find the right ones. All sterling silver was 50%, not sure when that special runs. I spent 120$ on all three rings, which is a great deal given the rings I purchased. I shop quite a bit of native and sterling deals and her prices were great! After reading the other reviews I felt compelled to write one. My daughter and I make an annual visit and sometimes more to the best Trading Post in Quartzsite. We've always been met by Summer with a friendly smile and gracious attitude. The store is filled with a wide variety of practical, useable items. My daughter is mostly interested in jewelry and I like to peruse the leather goods, posters, post cards, and Indian artifacts. It is like walking through a museum. There is history there. We also ask Summer to take our picture while posing in front of the Grizzly bear standing by the front door. Summer makes the visit a memorable one. Thank you. read more

Absolutely looooove this store! I've made it a tradition to stop and buy new jewelry every time I'm driving through. I've been all around New Mexico and Arizona, nothing compares to this place. Incredible deals and the excellent quality. Evie is one of the associates, she's so sweet, patient and helpful. I really enjoy talking jewelry with her. She's helped me find more than I was looking for every time. Haha. I noticed at the bottom of my receipt it says, "come a customers, leave as friends." I've stopped by Main Trading Post a couple times since my last review, and it's been worth coming through each time. While passing through Quartzsite a few days ago with my parents, who've never really gotten around that town more than to gas up and leave, I suggested my mom go through there. She's fascinated with beads and crafting and enjoyed her time through there. We were greeted by Phil, the shop's owner, who exclaimed that just about everything was half-priced. Their specialties are Native American artifacts, jewelry, beads, Minnetonka moccasins, and anything else you might want from the area. They sell various kinds of rock and stone. Mom picked up a couple strands of quartz and crystals for $6, saying she would make them into a rosary. Since my last visit it looks like they added a tented area to the right of the shop. It's mostly swap meet fodder, but at the back was a bin of scrap furs and hides. There were bits of wolf, fox, rabbit, mountain lion, bear, and so on. Since I've been needing a new pouch for Renaissance faires, I started digging through it and pulled out a nice big piece of black cow hide. It was marked $6 on the back, took it to the register and was only charged $3. They've still got big smudge sticks of sage ($2-3), which Phil picked himself up in the hills. The lady was a great help with her customers service skills and very nice to me there today while I was shopping

So I wrote a review on another site about going in there 4 times and no one was around. Phils response was "If the doors are open we are there" of course the doors were open or we could not have gone in to know no one was around, tried 4 times with my granddaughter, twice we left with other people as well as none of could find any help. I live in the Q and will not bring any of my visiting friends to this place. Phils rude remark obviously shows his lack of concern for poor customer service. read more

This place is a bunch of scam artist!!!!!!!!!! The lady was ringing up my total and it came out to 71$ and I noticed this ring was a lot of money so I told her to take it off and she rang up the new total 26$ she never ran my card or anything. Gave me a receipt that said my total was $26 now they say they have one for the $71 dollar change and won't do anything. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED. Met Evie (if I have your name wrong I apologize, I wrote it down but I lost the paper). She was amazing. While there she played great host, photographer, historian, magic medicine bag (turtle shell and an array of animal magic bones) creator and wonder babe. I really enjoyed her. The establishment is packed with a fine array of jewelry, beads, gems, stones. Etc. Stop in and get your picture taken and find some great treasures the most precious one being Evie. read more

Stopped her with my roommate on the way to visit her grandparents in Sun City. Great little bunch of stores all in a row. The Main Trading Post is great - I bought two pairs of stud-earrings (turqoise and coral colored), one pair of AMAZING moccasins, a few rings and a pendant. All of the sterling silver was 50% off. Not sure if this is a one time thing, or they just have that year round to trick you, BUT the prices were pretty good! I would DEFINITELY come here again to shop. Only 4 stars because some nice items were WAY WAY WAY over priced. And some sections of the store are ugly and crowded with dusty junk. ALSO there is a stand on this same strip run by a nice woman named Kelly which sells various precious stone pendants, earrings, bracelets, et cetera and they are BEAUTIFUL , unique and fairly priced.
