Whenever looking for minerals, this is a highly recommended place to go to. The main issue here, and it's a big one, is unclear and inconsistent pricing. A lot of items simply aren't labeled properly. For example, you'll see trays of quartz with vague Quality ranges like "from A+ to C," but no explanation of what that actually means. Because of this, prices often get decided at the register instead of on the shelf! Ouch! This leads directly to the real problem: whoever helps you can quote you a completely different price for the exact same item. !!! There's one older Asian lady you really want to avoid like plague, for example. no matter how high the prices are, she will always charge a triple the amount it cost. Very greedy. The upselling is aggressive and constant. Prices going up overall is understandable inflation happens. But when pricing isn't transparent, it opens the door to situations like this, and that's frustrating.

Lots of great deals too-the prices are very reasonable and their clearance items are also well priced. So many gorgeous stone, gem, crystal and artisan pieces. Glass doors, shoe shrine, hanging spaces for long dresses, plenty of drawers, jewelry drawers, and tons of shelves. Our closets are 10 feet tall, and they are a whole room in themselves. The color we chose, with Sophia's help, was Fawn. It turned out perfectly, because it is a near match for our other cabinets in our home, including the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room cabinets. Gorgeous closet and absolutely a beauty to behold. Erik and Luke from Penmarc Inspired Spaces installed the Preston closet. They arrived early at our home, were very professional, and did an amazing job installing the Preston. They were extremely prepared and executed the project well. They understood the vision, and were able to put together my dream closet. They even finished the job early, taking only 2 days to complete the install although they were scheduled to complete it in 3 days. My husband knew they were perfect for the job, because the first thing Erik did was tape the plans and renderings on each wall, so he and Luke had visual guides for every space. Very organized, thorough, and efficient! I had such a horrible experience with my Elfa closets (another Container Store product) being installed by Ace Hardware, that I was going to cancel my Preston order. I am so thrilled that Sophia helped me understand that the Preston install would be different, as Penmarc's team truly knew what they were doing. They have worked on Preston and Elfa closets for years. If only my Elfa closets had been installed by Penmarc, Erik, and Luke! It would have saved me a lot of stress, frustration, and heartache. Kudos again to Sophia, Erik, Luke, and Penmarc Inspired Spaces. I will definitely be a referral source for the Preston closet and Container Store.

We stopped by The Container Store, hoping they had something duffle-like that would be suitable for that purpose. The store itself was pretty empty when we pulled up, so we had a couple employees that were extremely helpful! We couldn't track down the desired duffle bag we saw listed on The Container Store website, but the employees led us around the store to look at a handful of options. They even pulled the bags out of the packaging so we could have a better look, given we had some specific requirements in mind. We traveled from one side of the store in search of the perfect bag, and we eventually found one! It held up pretty decently on the total 16 miles haul by mules. I don't often stop by The Container Store in my hometown, but maybe I should considering how delightful the employees were at this one!

Be careful picking up anything because some of their items can burn you. I'm not too sure what the market for some of these rocks are, I'm assuming garden and ornamental uses. In any case, it's a fun place to check out and stretch your legs. Tip - For smaller mineral items and fossils the prices were better down the street at Gem World.

He showed me how the rusty water that had collected at the bottom of a barrel had accidentally dyed many of the tumbled rocks inside and how that coloration would penetrate some levels of the rock while being repelled by a neighboring layer.
