I had to go to another mechanic and have that same coil replaced again. That mechanic called B & D and made them aware of what they had done. This situation was an additional $80.00 cost for me since I had to go to another mechanic. I then called Don and all he said was to bring back the coil. HAHAHA, I'm not that stupid. All he wanted me to do is bring back the coil that was bad so he could get his money back. He did nothing to offer any compensation for the money that I am out now. He tried to say he didn't charge me for the coil. I have a receipt that proves he did. He did nothing but lie from the get go.

Warning about Bill's Auto Repair & Towing Service…read more I want to share my son's experience with Bill's Auto Repair & Towing Service so others know what they may be dealing with. My son was in an automobile accident Friday evening. The police called Bill's to remove the vehicle from the scene. We have roadside assistance, but I understand that police can require a vehicle to be removed immediately for safety reasons. When Bill's arrived, the driver said the car was going to their impound lot. My son asked about having it towed elsewhere. He was told that would cost $250 plus mileage, and the driver convinced him it would be cheaper to have the car taken to Bill's garage, where he was told he could pick it up the next day. What he was not told was that the garage would be closed for the entire weekend. When he was finally able to get the vehicle today, his bill was $328.79, including $25 per day in storage fees while the business was closed. They also initially attempted to charge him an additional $100 in mileage because the tow-truck driver had been pulled away from another job at Kings Toyota and wanted to charge my son for the driver's travel to and from that job. After disputing it, that charge was removed. On top of all of this, they would not accept a credit or debit card. They required payment in cash. My issue isn't that a tow company charged for towing and storage. My issue is how this was handled: my son had just been in an accident, was told taking the vehicle to their garage would be the cheaper option and that he could retrieve it the next day, wasn't told they would be closed all weekend while storage charges accumulated, and then faced an attempted additional $100 mileage charge unrelated to towing his vehicle. I would strongly recommend that anyone dealing with Bill's Auto Repair & Towing Service get the full towing charge, destination, storage fees, business hours, and payment requirements in writing before allowing them to take your vehicle.

They said they could not complete the alignment because the new tie rod ends were seized and they tried to sell me new ones. To make matters worse, they insisted on charging me, full price, for the alignment which wasn't completed. I agreed to pay full price if they would honor finishing the alignment once the issue was addressed. When I inspected the tie rod ends, they could be adjusted without issue. I took it back to Source 1 for the alignment to be finished, which was completed without issue. At this point, they tried to charge me, full price, again! Their practice is unethical and predatory.

When I arrived without an appointment, Tuffy went ahead and did a full car inspection and provided photos while replacing the stud to ensure no others were damaged/broken. We found out that we were in need of new brakes, as our front pads were in bad shape--1 mm thick. The gentleman running the front of the shop was extremely helpful when talking me through the inspection results, never feeling "pushy", but simply to just educate me on what was going on with my car. The gentlemen offered me a ride to my apartment down the street while my car was to be worked on for the next few hours to avoid having to pay more money on an Uber.
