They always do a great job on my brows! Quick and efficient with great customer service!

Horrible experience. Do not go here if you care for your eyebrows and your money!!! I have been threading my eye brows for ever and I have a very good idea about what area of my eyes are problematic. But they really screwed it up. I did think she was using the scissors a bit too much but hey they are the expert. I have had bad experience in the past too, but nothing has made feel/look as bad as this one. They literally chopped off the top of my eyebrows and cleaned up all hair from under. Now there is no saving it. Unfortunately I came right before the holidays too. So now I have one eye brow that is crooked and very thin and other looks okay. And when I complained both of them tried to cover up their mess even after this obvious screw up. Don't tell me I have a bald spot on my eyebrows. I think I would know the shape of my brows. Worst experience ever as far as eyebrow threading goes. And I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for more than 20 years and never have I felt this bad. And then they made my pay in full and tried to get me to pay more by signing up for tinting. What are they going to tint? There is no hair to tint and I have a very irritated skin after the threading. They are trying to convince me I need to put dye on my irritated follicles and to absolutely no use since there is no hair to tint there. How stupid do they think their customers are? It's a whole sham. Bad work, bad service. Its not like they are cheap either. At $15 they are pretty pricey. read more

Noah's is amazing! I have been coming to her for the last 6 years. She never fails, she is sweet, professional and has my brows on point. The whole family comes to her for their brows. Thanks Nisha for always going above and beyond to make our experience perfect. You are amazing. read more

It was my first time coming to this place and it's close to where I work. I've always done threading with my eyebrows and upper lip since I can remember. Typically, it takes about 5-8 max for most threading artists to finish. The particular person who helped me took less than 5 minutes. She assumed that I just wanted clean up. I mentioned that I had some make up on and that I wanted to do a little reshaping. I'm not sure what the protocol is when someone has make up on. I would assume that you would want to wipe it off I order to see the true shape of the brows. She never did that. After she was done, she handed me placed a mirror in front of me and as soon as I opened my eyes and saw what it looked like, she put the mirror back. I didn't get a good look at my brows. She then went back to previous person she was assisting. When I look at the shape, I didn't see a difference in shape since I still had my brow filled in. It took her another 5 minutes to assist me in paying. Overall, she seemed like she was in a rush. I knew she was helping another person at the same time. I didn't appreciate how she decided to help me in between helping another person. It made it difficult to tell her that I wasn't happy with how it turned out When I looked closely at my brows, the clean up wasn't even that good. The bottom line, isn't clean, and there are still some hairs under the points. I won't be coming back, I'd rather drive further to my regular place since they take their time and truly show interest in you. read more

I was going to give this place 5/5 stars because of the last lady who did my eyebrows. She was sweet and amazing. However, today's experience was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I almost left crying. They have a check-in deal so I activated the offer and took it to her for her to see and click "mark offer as used." She doesn't speak or understand English too well, so she kept stating that "mark offer as used" meant the offer has been marked as used at a previous visit. She wouldn't accept the check in and proceeded to call the owner and yell at me saying to never come back. It was the most embarrassing and frustrating experience I've ever had a customer. read more

They clearly tell you that face masks are mandatory. But every time I come in, they let customers wait inside without masks on. Today was no different. It's disappointing. Only thing that made it worse today is that the employee approached me, without her mask on to tell me she had 3 customers in front of me. If you won't enforce the rules, it is pointless to even post a poster than says masks are mandatory. I will no longer visit this salon that I have used for a few years now. read more

I used to come here to clean up my eyebrows for years. Due to covid, I haven't been for a while. Yesterday I came back for the 1st time. I don't know if they changed the stuff or something. Even though the girl who did my eyebrows was super friendly, I was very disappointed how my eye brows came out. I asked for a simple clean up but it turned out my eyebrows got chopped off 50% thinner than before. I noticed many customers had the same compliant recently. If you come here, just make sure you check your eyebrows often while they are threading so that you can stop the damage before it's too late. read more

Brow Mantra - Upper lip waxing.. horrible job. - Threading Services Near Me - Irvine, California

I have used this service a few times and every time was ok except for today. I don't know if the artist is having a bad day butbI don't appreciate she took it out on my brows and me. I confronted her and she accused me of arguing with her before. I don't know if she mixed me up with someone else but this was the first time I am unhappy with her service. If I was unhappy before I wouldn't have come back. I will never come back again. Very bad attitude. read more

Gayatri is amazing. I've been going here for a few months now. I used to get my eyebrows waxed and have been a firm believer of threading for years now! I moved to Irvine recently, so I decided to try out this place. It is clean and has an assortment of magazines to read, while you wait. Good news: I have never waited more than 5 minutes to see Gayatri! There is plenty of parking spots. The pricing is reasonable (for OC status, I guess). I always get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded every 2-4 weeks, depending on if my boyfriend is coming into town/how hairy my eyebrows are getting! Gayatri is efficient and is helping my eyebrows become even. She never chops off the eyebrows tips and makes them look so lovely. Before she starts, she puts these under eye masks on you. It so helps me relax! After, she massages your eyebrows area and puts some lotion/toner on. She's fabulous. Thanks, guys! See you soon. read more

I wanted to find somewhere new in Irvine to get my eyebrows threaded. I decided to check this place out because it's close to where I live. It had decent yelp reviews and I never really had bad experiences at threading places before, so why not? I was wrong. A young man threaded my brows but it's like he barely even touched them. Usually I leave feeling good about myself because my eyebrows look nice and clean. This time, I had to go home and fix them because there were so many missed spots and frankly it was like I never even went to get them done in the first place. Thank goodness for the yelp check in or else I would have had to spend more than I wanted to. Never coming back here. read more

As someone who frequently goes here, I usually have good experiences. They're all friendly and quick. However, in my latest experience, I got a cut from my eyebrow threading. Once they put on the aloe vera I felt a stinging sensation, but thought it was just a very minor cut so I didn't tell the lady. Once I got home, I realized how visible the cut actually is. read more

details.. .. I needed to clean up my eyebrows & mustache so as to not be mistaken for a man. LOL .. Walked in around 10:30am on a Monday. .. Neha wasn't working on anyone, so she helped me right away. There was one other customer in the store. .. Prior to this visit, it's been a few months since I've had my eyebrows threaded. I've been maintaining at home by tweezing but got lazy. prOs.. .. She offered me hand sanitizer prior to starting & used some herself. Cleanliness is always good! .. Neha did my right eyebrow first, then offered me the mirror to make sure I was satisfied before starting on the left one. .. I currently have a very sensitive blemish on my lip area under my nose, & she was very careful to work around it while threading my upper lip. .. She massaged some aloe gel into my eyebrows & lips to sooth the irritation afterwards. .. It was very efficient & relatively painless overall. cOns.. .. I paid $15 for both eyebrows/lips. It's a bit more than I'm used to paying for threading. read more

Squeezed an eyebrow wax in during lunch hour and was pleased with service from Nisha. One star off for when I entered I just sat down on their comfy couches and just assumed there would be honor system of who came first. A woman came after me and signed in at the front and I was like oh wait, we are supposed to sign in?! Luckily she was nice enough to let me sign in before her. But there were two girls there when I sat down and neither of them told me I should sign in?!? Wtf!! There should be a sign that says, "please sign in here." However, I did get the eyebrows I wanted so in general happy and next time would go back! Parking can be a bit difficult during lunch hour but luckily it wasn't too bad on a Thursday. read more

Really disappointed in this place. They didn't honor the discount stamp card...they said it expired February 2016. I said that I've been using it this whole time but instead of honoring it, they issued me a new one with just one stamp and no discount. First of all, I didn't move here until August 2016, second, why are you giving punch cards that expired, third, this is my second punch card with them which means they've been giving away old ones and no one said anything the whole time I was collecting stamps. That's real convenient that after I spent ALL that money to get to the $4.00 off stamp that they won't honor it anymore when THEY were the ones who gave me the stamp card LAST YEAR in 2017. Will no longer go here. Liked that it was conveniently close to my work but the prices have gone up so it's not worth it anymore, especially since they clearly don't value repeat customers. read more

Fast service. Great parking options. I went late on a Saturday afternoon = No waiting. As someone with senstivie skin, I was impressed how quickly the redness went away in a fraction of the time (vs. wax). Yes, you could get better deals elsewhere but the service & location outweighed the $2-3 I could have saved. read more

Believe the bad reviews, this place is HORRIBLE. Must be an Irvine thing to upcharge because of how expensive it is to be there but give underwhelming service or product. This place is expensive for threading, but worse, it is painful. It will rip open your skin from how rough they are when threading. The women here have no idea how to thread. It is obvious they have no experience or just don't care. I spent months growing out my eyebrows and now they are pencil thin. They don't have the best service either. read more

I have always been regular customer to brow mantra from past 4 years and stopped going due to pandemic from last year. This is the first time I went after pandemic, but the service is terrible. All the old staff left. I told the lady ( her name is haboob) multiple times I want just clean up of the eyebrows but she chopped of my eye brows 50 percent thinner and this completely changed how my face looks now :( and she is arguing that she just cleaned the extras! On top of that they hiked their prices to 15$ for just eyebrows which is just a ripoff!! Please avoid this place if you don't want your eyebrows to get chopped off!! read more

I always come here for eyebrow threading when I don't have time to go back to my usual place in LA and although it's a little more costly, I have never left disappointed. I love that whoever works on me always sanitizes her hands and has me sanitize mine. After the threading, she also asks if I'd like aloe, rose water, etc and throws in a little massage too :) This is a great place with friendly, wonderful service! read more

Having been a long term client of Brow Mantra in Irvine for many years, it ended today. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes, the client before me was having her top lip threaded. After hearing her sneeze twice, I stood up and watched her sneeze two more times into her hand. While I am not a germophobe, I left immediately. Nail and hair salons must remain closed, so why would they allow lip (mustache) waxing and why didn't the employee shut the client down after the first sneeze? The health department needs to investigate this petri dish. Too bad, it used to be a great place. read more

I've been coming here for five years -- since they first opened. It's one of two threading places that I regularly visit. On Friday, September 15, I stopped by for the last time because they messed up on my eyebrows and still made me pay for it. When they charged me for their bad job, I ripped up my stamp card in half, left the two pieces that remained on the counter and told them they just lost a long-time customer. In addition, I asked the manager to have the owner contact me. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand that mistakes happen. Sometimes we have off days and don't do a good job. That's okay. I make mistakes, too. If you do a really bad job on someone's eyebrows, you don't charge them. It's just good customer service. The reason why I don't want to come here anymore isn't because they made a mistake. The reason is because they insisted on charging me after acknowledging that they made a mistake. In principle, I just think this is unethical. It was also incredibly rude when the manager and the two girls who messed up my eyebrows were talking about it in a language that I don't understand. I felt like they were talking about me. I gave them the opportunity to fix it, but they still charged me anyway. I don't support businesses with bad customer service. There are plenty of threading places that are more than willing to accommodate me. Be advised that this incident initially occurred on September 15 and I left a message for the owner to make it right. The deadline was September 18. After careful reflection, I decided to give them another week. At the time of this writing, I still haven't received a call, so I decided to post the review. Let this be a message to business owners. If your employee makes a mistake, don't make your customers pay for it. read more

I came in to do my eyebrows at 6:44pm due to working late and the lady said they stop accepting clients at 6:45pm. I told her they close at 7p and that it was 6:44pm. I've been coming here on off for three years and it's a hit or miss. I had my eyebrows threaded about a year ago here and she took off half of my left eyebrow. I finally decidied to go back in after almost a year (it took this long for them to grow back fully and get over my ptsd of them ruining my eyebrows again) and my eyebrows are so thin. I had pretty thick eyebrows and I have no idea how "just clean them up" was misinterpreted to "take off all my hairs and shape them." I am so upset and I will not be coming back. My eyebrows are ruined. Save your time, money, and eyebrows and go somewhere else. read more

I had Nadia on Sunday for my first threading experience, and she was amazing! So sweet and she made my brows look so good

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and this was one of my worst experiences. First of all, I left with the skin around my eyebrows SWOLLEN and painful for hours. I'm not talking about the normal redness that always happens, but my eyelids were actually puffy and red even to the next day. If it was just that I wouldn't have been that bad. She made my eyebrows a horrible shape and uneven. I asked her to fix and she told me she basically couldn't do anything or they'd be too thin. She tried after I insisted I didn't like the shape by taking off a few hairs and it barely made a difference. If they were at least the same shape maybe it would have been better. There was clearly nothing she could do without totally thinning my eyebrows out to a line so I gave in and left. read more

I went with Nisha like a lot of yelpers recommended and she did a ok job on my eyebrows. They're a little thinner than I would like. She also did waxing which was ok but messy. I still had a good amount of wax left on me which is a pain to get off if you're just trying to shower it off... Decent prices though but won't be coming back. read more

Not worth your $11 Stopped by on a whim, the lady took care of my eyebrows did not ask me what kind of brows I wanted. She started and and finished within 2 minutes. Only thing I've heard from her was "hold your brows" No customer service attitude at all. Plus, its horribly painful the entire time. She then just handed me a mirror, I said 'looks fine' And then she just walked off....... what? What about a whole bunch of left overs on my forehead? You want me to walk off just like that???? Seriously..... improve your service attitude. I am not coming back for sure! I could get a lot better service and pretty eyebrows elsewhere with lower amount! read more

Worood is amazing! She's fast, accurate and most kind when threading my eyebrows. I highly recommend her and this shop!

I've been here twice and I've hated how my eyebrows turned out both times. I thought maybe the first time was just a fluke... so I came back. I've had different people work on my eyebrows. Not only do they not do a thorough job... they make your eyebrows uneven. They didn't clean up my eyebrows well and left random strands of hair. I guess I'll stick to Soni when I'm in the area. The price is similar and at least at Soni's they definitely pay more attention and take their time working on your brows. Thank goodness for eyebrow make up. read more

I have been going to NISHA for nearly 6 years, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE her. She does such a good job shaping my brows that I almost don't trust myself to pluck at all anymore. I get my entire face threaded every time, we joke and say that I'm a hairy beast which sadly is more true than not. I've always hated my sideburns and baby hair above my forehead, Nisha takes care of all of that. Nisha has such gentle touch that I sometimes joke that it's almost relaxing and to wake me up if I fall asleep. Keep in mind that I've been getting threaded for the better part of a decade so I'm used to it. If you're on the fence about who to book an appointment with, I'm telling you NISHA IS THE BEST!!!
