So I had a lot of reservations about how this would work. I was trying to grow eyebrows back from 20 years of overplucking, but they were coming back in patches, with holes, and not as full as I would have hoped despite every product. I didn't understand microblading and was so concerned my eyebrows would come out looking unnatural and painted on. Kelly put in SO much time to explain to me what we would be doing, mapping out the shape on my face so I would be able to approve and talk it through, and was so patient with my concerns. I've had people in the beauty industry make me feel stupid before for showing concern and express annoyance that "I didn't trust them". Dude, it's my face. I should be concerned. This was the opposite of that - Kelly demonstrated confidence and earned my trust yet completely understood they are my eyebrows and this is far from a temporary process. Once proceeding, she talked me through what we were doing. She gave me the option of listening to music or podcast being aware that some people don't want to be chatty. Though I could immediately tell they looked great, it was still hard to tell exaaaactly how they looked right away bc of swelling and ink. But omgg after 24 hours I could tell my eyebrows look amazing. And it only got better. They looked so natural that when I went to get a wax at Benefit, the aesthetician tried to pluck a fake hair The girls at Benefit went as far to say that they had never seen such a good job and asked I bring in Kelly's card next time I come in (I have yet to do so). I went back after a month for a touch up and my eyebrows look even more amazing. I no longer have to spend the money to tint them. I receive compliments all the time and people are so surprised when I tell them they are part microbladed. Throughout this entire time, Kelly checked in with me to answer any subsequent questions and see how I was feeling about them. She was truly an empathetic professional every step of the way. In a way I'm sad it's not a process where I could go for touch ups and see her more often. The next best thing is recommending her so people have same experience. And I Couldn't recommend her enough. Can't wait to go back to Benefit and give them all her card. read more
