    Area 5.1 And Firesticks Pretzels
    Steve A.

Cool little brewery is hidden in an industrial area. It may be hard to find but it's worth taking some time to get to in Mokena. Brothership has quite a few on tap for not being that big of a brewery. Even the alien theme makes it worth going. The good beer will put your head in the clouds or even beyond that. After getting something to eat in town, we came. It was kind of hard to find because this was the kind of place where it looked like a brewery wouldn't be around here. This is located amongst warehouses. Even though the outside of the building isn't pretty, it gets better inside. There's a cool alien theme. Along the walls is fun artwork. The beer is the star though. It's about $5 a pint. That's not bad for a small craft brewery like this. I got the Area 5.1. This is a German pilsner. It gets its name from the ABV. This was crisp and smooth. Food options are limited. They have Firesticks pretzels for $5 a box, but you can also bring in food from outside. Fun little brewery. It's located in a pretty strange area of Mokena with not much going on. The artwork is only bested by the beer, and while there's no food, they have pretzels.

We stopped by for a flight and it's an interesting concept. We thought the green lights behind the tanks were funny and cool. Bartenders were super friendly and quick to serve us. You're allowed to bring in your own food since they don't provide any food. Lots of board games, sports on the TVs, and some good beer. Beers are decent, I tended to like their IPAs more. A little bit out of your way, but a good spot to stop at if you're nearby.

Tried 4 of their beers and all of them were amazing! Great flavors and taste. The service was great and they have specials on Sundays. I enjoyed the theme and how all of the names of the beers have a space theme. Service was great and place was really clean. All staff wore masks and they ask guests to wear masks as servers come to the table. Great experience and will be back!

Craft Brewery preparing for lift off! Extraterrestrial space themed brewery in Mokena. 8 beers on top plus a rostering guest hard cider, they also sell their own merch (glassware and t-shirts). Great vibe, very similar to Crafted. Before this place opened, they did a collaboration at Crafted. They have a very similar vibe between the set up and the decor, we're guessing they're partners. Great spot to sit and hang out for hours over a few drinks with friends!

Cool little place in the middle of a storage/industrial park. Friendly staff and pretty good beer, including a nice selection.

Pretty okay prices for the quality. There's a lot of flavors and variety. Can get some on tap, or get bottles and cans to go. It's certainly a place to find local products. There's not a whole lot of room inside, but there's enough for a bar and you can taste some on site. Has many things from local breweries. It's about $7 a pint. Last time here got something from Hop Butcher For The World. Just one of the many local breweries. Then we took a few packs. For sure a good place to sample the local beers. It's got some on tap so you can find out right then if they're okay. They're mostly worth getting some to take home it seems.
