    Garlic Curds

Flipside Brewing was really good. I came here with my wife and parents and ordered a couple beers and food and really enjoyed our meal. We started with the wings and the garlic cheese curds. The curds were great and the wings were solid. Their smash burgers were so good too. They provide tons of options to make it just the way you like and I got mine with crispy onions and habanero spicy cheese I'll certainly come back next time I'm in Tinley Park. I also noticed they are part of that free trolley that drops you off at different breweries so might have to give that a try next time!

Flipside Brewing is located in a strip mall off a popular intersection in Tinley Park. This brewery has quite a large beer selection with a couple of collaborations with other local breweries. On top of beer, they offer wine, cocktails, food, cider/mead, and more! It's nice that they accommodate all guests knowing not everyone drinks beer. Their food menu was limited but had a great selection. Our group got a wide variety of beers. I tried the mead selection which had a sweet front note and off putting tail end taste but the blueberry cider was delicious. The beers as whole were all tasty! The only one we did not prefer was the Golden Snozzberry. Note that they do not offer formal flights but one can order beers in a 5 oz pour or full glass. Tip: This brewery is a stop on the Ale Trail Trolley Tinley Park offers on Wednesdays throughout the summer for free!

The food was good. Too bad flavored beer was not available but the sour beer I drank was tasty. Service was fast and friendly. My sandwich was tasty.

Had a great experience here for a Monday lunch. Great service and had a nice special burger and some fresh tap hazy beers! Perfect on a cold January day. Definitely will be back and try more things! The special burger item had hasbtowns and egg on top, I choose a side of fries. Great hangover cure in my mind :-)

We came here on a whim after running some errands and were so glad we did. Laid back vibe and super friendly staff, they greet everyone who walks in the door. The garlic Parmesan cheese curds were awesome, recommend if you go here. Smash burgers were also very good. Great spot for some beers and burgers.

Love this place! Been coming since it opened and have been big fans of their smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and mac and cheese! They have great sides and options for everything as well. Their beer is also top notch, especially their lagers and IPAs. Also can't say enough about their Bitter Thistlehead and their English style beers. Great stuff. Have I mentioned the staff? They really put a lot of effort into everything they do. They're attentive and welcoming. Flipside is always a stop in my rotation.

There's just not a patio. All of it's inside because there's just no room for it. This is in a part of a large building with a few warehouses. It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but these are locally made craft beers though. We had a few including the Big Beautiful Wheat. It's actually a Bavarian style Hefeweizen. There's also a kitchen where they make a few things. It's about $9 for shareable items. The Pretzel Sticks are pretty standard and pair well with a lot. Great place for locally made beers. This is a pretty strange location it seems. About the only reason to be in this area actually. Kind of hard to see amongst all the warehouses. It's about $7 a pint. Pretty similar to typical craft beer prices though. Best we had of these was the Straight Blade. This is a West Coast IPA that's bitter with citrus and floral notes. As for the food it's mostly Mexican. It's $12 for the Lunch Special. There's a choice and we got tacos. Choose proteins including options for plant based. We got these with Beyond meat, and the faux al pastor. Basically they make meaty substitutes out of mushrooms. These come with beans and rice. A lot more on the menu. There's also brunch on Sundays with omelettes and other stuff. Has more than just beers of course. It's also got choices of burritos, tacos, and tortas. There's lots of things for vegans and vegetarians.

This isn't one of our go-to breweries in the area but it is certainly worth visiting to see if it is your vibe!

Trail Trip was my favorite because I prefer non-hazy. For dinner I got the double-dipped fried chicken sandwich with a side of fries. YUM! Bursting with flavor and deliciousness! Chunks of avocado, that I thought I was getting, fine, but not a traditional guacamole. Not good. Three of the four persons at our table ordered burgers and were all equally disappointing. It seemed like the burgers were diced up like it we to get used like in chili. But then, there tried to make a hamburger out of it!! Really weird. The taste was good, but unmanageable as a hamburger. One of the persons at our table ordered a shrimp appetizer. He said it was "ok". This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite comfortable and the beer is okay. But, that's all it has going for it. Our previous visit a few years ago was much more enjoyable. We see no reason to return.
