    This is hands down my favorite Chicagoland brewery. Super welcoming, every member of the staff treats you like family. Their beer is amazing, they really have a great menu that rotates, as well as cans to-go. They even recently added in mixed drinks, and they always have seltzers if beer is not your thing! Events at Rabid are outstanding, the Feast of the Goat Queen every summer is something I absolutely refuse to miss. If I could give this crew more then 5 stars I absolutely would.

    Great find close to home. Both the server and owner Super Nice to talk to. I can this place will go far the outdoor seating area needs work right now it feels like you're sitting in someone's back yard or prison since it's enclosed by a chain link fence but sure that will come in time the Great Beer and Good Service make up for it

    The brews are fantastic and the service and patrons are great. Artwork and decor is awesome. Very welcoming and everything on their menu is good. Not kidding try for yourself

    Great beer, great atmosphere and great staff! There was one server taking care of a whole packed bar! Highly recommend for a great night out

    Definitely a great place to check out. Beer was incredible and and unique mixed drinks that get the job done

    Worst brew pub ever. beer is ok. People are rude. dont go there. I only gave one star because i couldnt leave negative stars

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich (pepper relish and garlic aioli on the side) with sweet potato fries. The fries made the meal. They give you a lot of chicken in the sandwich which makes it a bit hard to eat but the flavor is there. My aunt got the "not your mom's meatloaf" and my mother got a cup of gumbo and a salad. My aunt loved her meal, the gumbo was a little thick and we didn't love the taste. They also tried the apple cranberry cobbler tart. I didn't have any room for dessert and that's a first. There is an upstairs area with a patio that would be a great coworking space if they served coffee. Leo was our server and Sydney was the hostess. Both were delightful.

STREET TACOS are truly street-size--very small--but the flavor was excellent. SHRIMP PO' BOY deserves special mention: it's huge, generously packed with shrimp, and fried perfectly. The Bad... THE MEATLOAF entrée, served with mashed potatoes and collard greens, was a major disappointment. * The mashed potatoes were cold, and the greens were only lukewarm. * When we notified the server, she offered to have the entire meal replaced. However, what came back to the table was the same plate my wife tasted and found cold. The plate was simply reheated under a warmer. * Hot food should be refired, not reheated, for both quality and safety reasons and for the price! MANAGER RESOLUTION: Afterward, the manager explained that we "have to pay" for food that was incorrectly served by them! He was pleasant and worked to address the issue without incident, stating that the server was unaware of a recent policy updates. He acknowledged that the server misinformed us of what could be offered for the cold entree items According to the manager, their policy is to either: * Reheat the food under a warmer, or * Allow you to order a new entrée--but still require payment for the original dish that was sent back. The manager referenced a policy printed at the bottom of the menu, which reads: "Refunds are provided for preparation errors, preferences." * If hot food is not served hot, isn't that a preparation error? *If the server does not know the policy but offers me something, whose fault is that on managing my expectations? NOTE: If the kitchen messes up your food, you still have to pay for it at this place! Read the other negative reviews. This was NOT an isolated incident. My wife was understandably disappointed and simply wanted to order a different entrée. The manager initially said the policy did not allow that, though he eventually agreed to refire the entire entrée rather than reheating it a second time. He emphasized that the policy was above his level of authority. Once the issue was escalated to management, our server did not return to the table again until we specifically asked the manager about her absence. Considering this was my daughter's birthday lunch, the experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given how strong the food started out. Welp...I won't be back here. I really tried to support one of our businesses.

    Stoney Point Grill 2031 Ridge Road…read moreHomewood, IL 60430 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and sadness over the unacceptable customer service experience we received at Stoney Point Grill on April 13th, 2025, during my father's Celebration of Life event. When we initially booked the space, we were told the event would need to end by 8:00 PM. However, after further discussion, your general manager confirmed that we would be allowed to use the space until 10:00 PM. That agreement was critical to us, as we were honoring my father's request to "have a party, not a funeral," as he had always said. On the day of the event, upon our arrival, a woman I believe to be the front-of-house manager or assistant manager, informed us -- in a surprisingly curt and unfriendly manner -- that our time ended at 8:00 PM. Both my daughter and I explained that the general manager had approved a 10:00 PM end time. She walked away without a word and returned with a man, who I believe to be the general manager, who did confirm we could stay until 10:00 PM. However, it was clear that the woman was unhappy with his decision. Despite this confirmation, at exactly 8:00 PM, she and other staff began dismantling tables and decorations, disrupting the event in a way that was incredibly disrespectful and emotionally distressing. This was not just any gathering -- it was a final celebration of a man deeply loved and mourned. The careless removal of decorations and mishandling of taped photographs caused damage to irreplaceable memories. Most devastating of all, during the confusion, my iPad -- which held my father's last videos, messages, and moments -- went missing. No one can truly understand the pain I have endured -- from fighting to keep my father alive, to making the heartbreaking decision to let him go, and finally, trying to honor his wishes through this event. Your staff's actions not only disrespected our family but tarnished what was meant to be a joyful remembrance of his life. The emotional cost is immeasurable, and the personal items lost and damaged can never be replaced. I paid over $1700 for the disrespect. It has taken me time to write this letter because the pain has been overwhelming. But I felt it necessary for you to understand the gravity of what happened and the irreversible impact your team's behavior had on a grieving family trying to find peace. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that future guests -- especially those coming to your establishment for deeply personal events -- are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
