I also have a hard time taking the pictures that would best showcase the work they did. So I'm just going to do my best. 1- My library is absolutely and insanely beautiful. The lines, the wood, the feeling, the craftsmanship are all one of a kind and special to my wife and I. 2- The sturdiness of the install is exceptional. There is a rolling ladder that actually rolls around a corner. That is not normal. It is beyond what you would expect, and just amazing to use. The track system that the ladder slides on is super unique and low profile. It is sturdy and functional. I love it. 3- The creativity Paul Rene employed to design and manufacture this library was beyond what I could have envisioned. He sat with my wife and I and listened to us. We are lifetime collectors of books and avid readers. Every book on our shelves have been read at least once. When we sat down together he asked about our personalities, what we loved about books, our personal taste. A few weeks later he came up with a draft design. We worked back and forth for a few more weeks adjusting lines and adding more curves until we have the library you see pictured in the review. 4- Paul Rene worked hard to install the library. The team they used to install everything were courteous, and incredibly professional. After a month, I asked them to come back to look at a part of the ladder slide system and they were here adjusting it in no time. I can say this honestly- Paul is an artist without peer. My photos barely capture what he designed., and what I have the joy of living with. His partner Rene is a technical master at construction. Bringing the vision to a function that is delicate and sturdy enough to hold thousands of well loved books. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding Paul Rene.

I needed something that was very functional given the limited space but would also help make it very aesthetically pleasing given the amount of time I spend in my office. Paul's got a great eye for design both for use of space and materials and his process made it easy to get the most from his creative capability while capturing the ideas I had. We're so pleased with the office build-out that we decided to do two more pieces of work with Paul right away. Highly recommend if you're in the market for beautiful and functional furniture.

I don't agree with what the team said here. They only added in the pieces they forgot after I…read morereminded them multiple times. And they said they do not have a limit on the number of revisions but I have an email from them stating they usually only allow 3 revisions. They tried to fix this by allowing one more revision but if I had known that they had any kind of limit then I never would have booked with them. They also state in their response that I (the client) am responsible for making sure the items they suggest are quality before I order but then what's the point of hiring a designer? They are already supposed to do that kind of background work.

I loved that they truly captured her family's unique style and the house felt comfortable and true to them. Fast forward a few months, my husband and I just purchased a new home and were trying to blend our households. My furniture from my Bay Area condo looked like doll furniture in our space and I knew this was too big of a project for us to do on our own, we needed help. Cue Mackenzie and team! The process was incredibly easy: we met with the team, described our project and they went to town. They really took the time to understand my husband and I, our style and how to make our space both family (and cat) friendly. We had our sneak peek presentation and we were so excited what they came up with, it felt so US and fit our space. We couldn't wait to see how it all came together. When we had our final presentation we were blown away! The pieces that the team selected were amazing and would have taken us forever to find on our own. We got to see everything visually, were provided with a layout so we knew how to arrange everything, and got a shopping list. The team was available for questions and helped us out with substitutions if we needed to make them. We get compliments on our place ALL the time, its so different from what a lot of our neighbors/friends have in their homes because its so personal. I could not be happier with our experience using Scheme and the Mackenzie Collier Interiors team. I could not love our space any more, its simply beautiful and so us.

He is a very trustworthy and honest person which can be difficult to find these days. You can see in the pictures the quality of his work. The work was completed in the time frame described and there was no change in the quote to the final cost. In August 2017 we suffered a flood in the kitchen due to monsoon season. Half of our cabinets had to be taken out because of the flood damage. We told our insurance company about Arizona Kitchens and Refacing but they insisted on using some cheap random kitchen company to try to replace our cabinets. The results were a disaster. The refacing was poorly done with nail holes clearly apparent. The cabinet doors were damaged. There was no wrap around on the corners. The facing under the sink was loose. The color did not match the undamaged part of the kitchen. Fortunately we were able to Arizona Kitchens and Refacing to redo the poor work of the other company. Keith had the poorly done work removed and replaced with new work that matched the original from 2013. His workers are friendly. Keith is a well spoken, honest, and caring individual. He is a great person to have work in the most important asset of your home. I strongly recommend Keith and Arizona Kitchens and Refacing.

I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience. We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more. To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix. We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family. The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and "touch up" work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible. Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower. He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied. The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The "under cabinet lighting" was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets. Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning. When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our "new" toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up. We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was "trying to run a business," that it "wasn't worth it" to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a "million dollar project" that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last. I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.
