Meanwhile there was a western union form from another customer sitting on the counter right in front of me which included very detailed information about a client, full name, dob, I'd number, address, etc. After the 15 minute wait the lady finally turns around and says how can I help you. I tell her I am there to send a western union and she says "we stop that at 6" it's now 6:11pm. I ask her when do they close she says 7. She was extremely rude and unapologetic even though I had been standing there since before 6. I feel that if you are open, you should be open and provide all services. People making blank trips is frustrating enough and then met with this attitude is over the top. Also customer information should not be left on display!

Now that Wal-Mart's in town with a full grocery selection, I imagine Market Basket's sales have went down. I've always hated the grocery loading-on-to-checkout-lane thing because there's just a small little shelf for you to sit a couple of items, or you just pull your buggy up there and they take it out for you. In a way, that is actually more efficient than the conveyor belt model used elsewhere, but it's so different that it's disconcerting. Usually this place is staffed by some high school kids compared to Wal-Mart's more seasoned variety. Not that great of a selection but it'll do if you live on the 96 part of town and don't want to trek over to Wally World.
