I haven't decided if this establishments name is absolutely terrible or if it is a great marketing ploy. When I saw the name "Brooklyn Dough with a Hole," I knew immediately that this was a bagel shop. So, while I am not crazy about the name, it definitely conveyed what this business offers. So, let's touch upon what they offer. Bagels. Not only bagels, but good bagels. Oh, and, of course, they have cream cheese. It is also good. So when you take a good bagel and good cream cheese, you get a magical combination of doughy perfection with a wonderfully creamy twist to only enhance this culinary wonder. People love to use the term "peanut butter and jelly" when they compare two things that perfectly go together, but I would consider going before whichever court deemed this the perfect comparison and petition that the term "bagel and cream cheese" replace that long used term. A bagel and cream cheese is truly a wondrous thing and the bagels with cream cheese available at this business with a weird name that perfectly describes its product offering has very good bagels. My go-to bagel is an everything bagel with cream cheese and here it is very good. I would definitely recommend this establishment. Found our perfect bagel in Naples after 8 years of searching. They were light on the inside and crispy on the outside. Both pumpernickel and poppy flavors were tasty. The "smear" of jalepeno cream cheese was light and flavorful and pork roll, egg and cheese excellent. Staff were caring and personable. It was great to see a mix of ages in the customers also. Visiting Naples for the holidays, and stopped by this bagel joint after volunteering for the annual Turkey Trot! It was a perfect spot to grab brunch, as I'm a huge lover of bagels and breakfast/brunch foods. I got the Everything Bagel with cream cheese! There was a lot of people in the café that day, so the wait was a little long, but the bagel was amazing. I'm so glad I found this place! I'm not sure why its so hard to find a good bagel place in Southwest FL, but it is! We came on a Thursday an hour after they opened- there was no line, but they definitely had a rush recently since many bagels were out. Nonetheless, I got a Nova Lox, Sausage & Cheese, and a few rainbow and blueberry bagels. The family loved them, the kids loved the bright colors of the rainbow bagel & the Nova Lox was yummy.
