$10 for Bacon, Egg, Cheese Sandwich is outrageous. So disappointing to discover that the bacon was burnt to a crisp and inedible.

$10 for a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese is outrageous! So disappointing to see that the bacon was burnt to a crisp and inedible.

$10 for 2 bagels and a small cream cheese

I have to echo other comments about the excessive pricing. Two bagels and a small cream cheese for $10?! It is outrageous. New York bagels are boiled with seeds on both sides and these are conveyer belt, as you can see from the undersides.

IF YOU'RE READING THIS REVIEW, STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND GO HERE NOW! Empire Bagel Factory is everything I look for in a local bagel shop and easily the best option in Naples. 1. The bagels are delicious flavor-wise and quality-wise with the perfect chew. 2. Their spreads are whipped to perfection, and they don't skimp! 3. The other ingredients they use on their sandwiches (bacon, onion and tomato to name a few) were very fresh and high quality! My sister and I both got bagels. She ordered the asiago bagel with tomato cream cheese, and I got the Bacon Bagel Sandwich with veggie cream cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Also, the place itself is immaculately clean, and the workers were a delight! I WILL DREAM OF THESE BAGELS UNTIL I RETURN AGAIN! Hasta luego, Empire Bagel Company!

Kelly's is a staple on Revere Beach, Boston! We called it New England Coney Island! We stop by Kelly's at the Collier Blvd and Immokalee Rd little before 6:00 PM on a Thursday night. The place has only two tables occupied and nearly empty! We ordered a small roast beef sandwich meal and lobster roll meal. Originally, I intended to order fried clams but changed my mind at last minute to lobster roll. You order at the counter and the staff will bring them to your table! The roasted beef sandwich was fine, and tender. The French fries requested without any seasoning was nice, hot and crunchy! Good sandwich! Lobster rolls are normally serve Maine or Connecticut style. Maine lobster rolls is served with lobster chilled in mayo and crunchy greens like celery, chives and/or scallions. A Connecticut lobster roll is served warm, dunked in butter with a toasted bun. The lobster roll at this Kelly's is served chilled on a split top roll. Yes, it looks like the meat from the claw, knuckle and leg of lobster and perhaps from the tails! It needed a little lemon juice and/or warmed garlic butter! The fries were heavily seasoned and on the salty side! As we chow down, a few patrons arrived. Now they have 7 tables. Maybe Thursday night is a slow night! The roasted beef sandwich lives up to the fond memory but the lobster roll needs a little more work! There were a few pictures from their old establishments from many decades ago. The staff is friendly. It is really a 3 1/2 stars. Rated at 3 stars for now and update later after a few more visits!

If you can order ahead, do it--you won't regret the extra planning. These folks are hand-crafting a masterpiece for your mouth, and that takes time. Trust me, it's worth the wait. This place takes me straight back to Philly hoagies in 1983. So yes hands down go for the Hoagie. What impressed me even more is the quality and service at this establishment. Wow. They treat everyone like family. Warm greetings and such a welcoming all encompassing atmosphere when you walk in. They didn't even realize I had ordered ahead. Especially first visit. I was allowed to browse the imported food section as it is delicatessen at its core. That just so happens to serve prepared and prepackaged foods. All of which are outstanding. I don't even know if I want to share what other delicious delights I enjoy as I feel one should go on their own culinary adventures as well. So my big take away. Best Italian Sub in Naples.

Plenty for 2-3 people. The lasagna. This might be my biggest disappointment this year. Lasagna is one of my favorite dishes, I don't know if I've ever had one I couldn't finish... until this day. I dunno, maybe the beef went bad? At first I thought it was the cheese. I was confused, it had a chemical smell to it. I was thinking maybe this is some exotic Italian cheese they put on top, but when I isolated the ingredients to try to figure out what was giving off the smell and taste, it ended up being the meat. The ingredients said "beef" but I've never had beef taste like this before. I've literally never thrown out lasagna up until this point. I tried to power through it, but stopped after eating about 20%. The thought of taking another bite still haunts me. I was really hoping I was going to love this place. So sad.

Our family experience with Gigi's Bakery has not been pleasant since they opened…read more My first experience: Shortly after Gigi's opened for business I went to buy some guava and meat pastries, I commented to the young man who was waiting on me that the pastries were too puffy which made it difficult to bite into and to keep the flakes from falling all over the person. He replied that this was how they made them at this bakery and that if I didn't like their appearance perhaps I should go elsewhere. This was the reply from an employee of a business that had recently opened. Based on this, I stayed away for several years. My adult son and husband, their most recent experience: They started going to Gigi's for breakfast. Their eat-in section has ceiling fans that usually run all day directly above the tables, therefore promply cooling the food. Cold eggs are never pleasant. My elderly husband has asked on other occasions when there weren't many other patrons if the fans could be turned off, sometimes they were, other times the requests were ignored until a few weeks ago when the male employee replied that he absolutely would not turn off any of the fans. That was my husband's last visit to this business. My last experience: It was a couple of months ago after we left a medical appointment, I wasn't in the mood to cook dinner so I thought I'd buy a Cuban pork sandwich at Gigi's and split it with my husband. The printed menu stated $10.55 for the sandwich and I ordered it along with a couple of pastries, then I noticed that the register showed $15.99 for the sandwich. I pointed out the price discrepancy to the not-very-cordial, heavy-set Latin woman at the counter. She looked at the menu, said the new price was $15.99 and she wouldn't budge or correct the obvious outrageous error. I canceled the sandwich, took the pastries and left vowing to never, ever return. Increasing an already high price of $10.55 to $15.99 for this sandwich represents a 151.56% increase and is certainly uncalled for in this economy. It's obvious Gigi's doesn't give a hoot about customer service as evidenced by our family's experiences throughout the years. It's a shame that more Cuban bakery owners from Miami haven't yet opened branches in Naples, a city which is sorely lacking in high quality bake shops ...not that I am saying Gigi's is high quality. To us, it is not. But I yearn for high quality bakeries such as these found in Miami: Edda's Cake Designs, Karla Bakery, The French Bakery, Pinecrest Bakery and Sweet Art by Lucila. Vicky's Cuban Bakery opened a location at Ave Maria and, although, it'll be a 45 minute trip for us we will gladly make the trip so we can be treated like valued customers who are charged correct prices for what we expect to be high quality pastries, breads and made to order sandwiches. However, if Vicky's should also disappoint us, I will certainly post my review here, but I have high hopes for our upcoming visit to Vicky's.

We were seated quickly and a nice thing about the menu, is you can choose between breakfast and lunch. Hubs chose a classic Ruben sandwich with fries, I went with their signature skillet. Lunch has just as many options, with salads, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. Service was good, the wait staff is used to handling large groups and they do a good job. Our server Shannon was very efficient, she stopped by several times to ask how things were going. She bought the to go box I asked for, along with two drinks to go. There was no way I could finish that ginormous meal! It was an enjoyable brunch and next time I'll try their coffee, it's supposed to be pretty good. Going in, there were a decent amount of people seated, but we managed to snatch a table quickly. For breakfast we ordered 1x egg & cheese sandwhich on a English muffin, 1x breakfast platter with bacon, sunny side up eggs, pancake, and home fries, and 1x Mediterranean omelet. Going into my review, while the menu had a nice array of dishes, the execution could be improved. The egg sandwich felt deconstructed and would've liked cheese melted on top, but the eggs were soft though! The breakfast platter had nice thick bacon, yolky eggs, and somewhat crispy home fries (nothing bad here). Pancake was nice and fluffy; definitely fresher than what you'd find at your local IHOP or Dennys! While the omelet had plentiful of fresh ingredients, the eggs holding it felt dried out and casserole lacked cheesiness I was craving. In addition, our server took care of our needs, but seemed reserved. Overall, breakfast was decent, but could certainly be better with some tweaks as mentioned above. Final verdict 3/5 stars.

As a frequent customer, I've observed the interviews multiple times, and it appears the focus often shifts away from truly evaluating the candidates. The interview dynamic seems heavily centered on the interviewer, which makes it difficult to assess the actual qualities, strengths, and potential of the people being interviewed. In several cases, I've personally known strong candidates--young women with excellent work ethic, positive attitudes, relevant experience, professionalism, and engaging personalities--who were not selected, despite being genuinely well-suited for the role. From what I've observed, the structure of the interviews doesn't consistently allow space for candidates to fully present themselves or for meaningful social and professional cues to be recognized. As a result, the interview outcome may not reflect the quality of the candidates as accurately as it could. Having a different interviewer--or adding a second, more candidate-focused voice--could significantly improve the selection process and help ensure that strong talent is truly seen and evaluated.

We've dined in Founders Square before & always noticed bunches of happy people sitting out on the front patio of Havana Libre. We'd just walk past because we had other plans - never stopped, but were curious. Tonight, we made plans to visit with another couple and it didn't disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and LIVE music - a young woman playing an electric violin. just WOW. The decor was spot on along with the music, creating with a fun and inviting VIBE. Perfect for a Saturday night date night with friends. The night was just getting started so there weren't a lot of other diners, yet but that changed quickly. Would definitely recommend making a reservation. Our server was awesome - very helpful with the menu - a mix of Cuban and Peruvian dishes that were delicious. Since we don't get to eat these treats often, we did our homework, checking out the menu beforehand, but we had a ton of questions. We asked for her opinion and recommendations and she described the food in detail and answered all of our requests - thank you! . The drinks and appetizers were yummy and our main dishes were really tasty . The portions were generous, but not too heavy. Try the boozy pineapple a house favorite. The dessert menu was also enticing, but sadly, none of us had any room. Next time.. From beginning to end, we had such a fabulous time. What a fun place with a great atmosphere. Their bar is also open to the people dining outside on the patio. The open air concept just adds to the overall experience. A new local favorite.
