Lahmajun (sold in pack of 6)

Brooklyn Bread House has fresh baked Armenian goods, including lavash, matnakash, and more. But the true highlight for me is their mouthwatering Armenian-style LAHMAJUN - thin and crispy! They bake fresh matnakash daily at 11AM. As for their lahmajuns, they craft them in-house, and they're typically available in frozen form, sold in packs of 6 (call in advance to place your orders!). They also offer a variety of other Armenian baked goods, but I'd recommend giving them a call in advance to confirm availability for the day of your visit. After searching endlessly for authentic Armenian baked goods (namely lahmajuns) in NYC after coming back from LA, I've finally found Brooklyn Bread House. Can't wait to go back!!

Great products and freshly baked foods! Highly recommend their Armenian juice brand "Noyan" with their bread.

Sandwiches include rosemary butter and ham, tuna fish, roast beef, burrata and prosciutto, and more. We tried the roast beef with chimichurri, a blueberry pastry, and pistachio croissant. All three items were high quality and delicious! Items are a bit pricey (those three items totaled about $37), but the quality definitely justifies the prices. All of the baked goods were beautiful and looked perfect. If you are in Greenpoint, I would recommend you stop by this bakery. Service: Staff are extremely friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. I was still deciding when it was my turn in line, and all staff members were patient and encouraged me to take my time. Ambiance: The bakery is small with about four counter seats along the window, but there are plenty of tables and chairs set up outside. There's nothing special about the ambiance, but it's a nice place to hang out and enjoy your sandwich or pastry. Overall, I would highly recommend this bakery!

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

I tried their sandwiches--the focaccia with prosciutto and burrata was my favorite, while the ham and rosemary butter sandwich wasn't my favorite because of the ham's texture. I also ordered the cherry cheesecake, which was good but a bit too tart for my taste, and the peanut butter and jelly croissant, which was very good. My favorite, however, was the pistachio croissant. Their croissants are excellent, and I would definitely recommend this bakery.
