Not sure why you would see anything less than 5 stars here. Must be folks not from Holbrook!…read more I have asthma which obviously is a chronic disease serious with regard to the pandemic. As well as new prescription. Consultation , pick up , drive through and of course the pharmacists and techs! Great team saved us during the pandemic. Latest hours always hustling!

It was 7:00 PM when I walked in and stood in the consultation section for approximately four…read moreminutes without anyone acknowledging me not even eye contact. There was no line on the other side, yet I still waited. Eventually, a young woman approached and asked if I needed help. I told her I would like to speak with the pharmacist. When the pharmacist came over, her facial expression alone made me feel as though I had done something wrong. Her demeanor and lack of customer service were disappointing. I asked if she could recommend something for my 14-year-old who was experiencing flu-like symptoms, and all she said was "Tylenol." She did not ask a single follow-up question about his symptoms, nor did she direct me to the appropriate aisle. I'm glad I didn't rely on her advice because I went to another aisle myself and found something more appropriate for his symptoms. My point is this: when working with the public whether as a cashier or a pharmacist professionalism is essential. You chose this career, knowing it involves interacting with customers. Whatever kind of day you're having should not interfere with the quality of service you provide.

This review is only about the pharmacy area of this location…read more I recently had a prescription I needed to pick up and also had a change in insurance. Upon walking up to the pharmacy counter there was one person being helped and one in front of me. Once it was my turn I had explained to the girl that my insurance had changed. She asked me to step over to the consultation side to wait for the pharmacist. As I waited about 20 minutes (the pharmacist was on the phone and filling prescriptions) for the pharmacist, there were 4 people who had walked up for vaccinations. The pharmacist proceeded to put all their vaccinations together and vaccinate them all before approaching me. Maybe these other people had appointments, but I'm not sure. As she finally makes her way over to me, she asks me how she can help me. Although the girl at the register had told her what I needed and gave her my insurance card. Once everything was entered it took me about 3 minutes to check out. However there were 12 people who came in after me who were helped and left as well as 8 people who were helped at the drive through. I'm sure there are rules about who can enter information, but it just seemed like I could have been helped and been out of there before half of the new people were helped instead of being made to wait. Since the last pharmacist left, it had been increasingly difficult to do anything with this particular pharmacy department. It seems as though across the board everything takes more time than it should. Unfortunately this has been seen at other CVS pharmacy's as well.

We were always customers at the Holbrook CVS and hated it. The Holbrook location was always too…read morebusy and backed up, the pharmacy department was down right nasty, and we just had enough. We met the pharmacist at this CVS in patchogue during Covid when we got vaccinated. We started getting all our vaccines here. We noticed right away that he was always pleasant and seemed to go the extra mile for his customers. He reminds me of the old fashioned pharmacists that always watch out for their customers, knows everyone by name and is always happy to help and give good advice. He made us feel watched out for. We were happy to switch all our prescriptions to this location and it's been a pleasure since. Unfortunately, in the new year our insurance started forcing us to go somewhere else (not covering CVS at all anymore), and I was so upset by it. I'm hoping that will change and we can come back here!

This place is the WORST pharmacy ever, one star is to much…read more Pharmacy staff is RUDE, and loves to deny you your legally prescribed medicine, They pretend that the scripts never make it their after the Dr. office trys to send multiple times. or when they do get them they will delete the script for being called in a day early even know it takes them longer than that to even fill it. Then a bean counter will deny you because they dont like the medicine being filled and want to lecture you about stuff they admit-ably dont know anything about. They text to say your Rx's are ready to pick up when their not constantly, and then wont change the phone number in the computer the number I never gave out. When they do actually fill a script they insist on never filling all your scrips at once, So you have to constantly keep coming back, cause you fill once late you must keep filling staggered forever or miss doses. I have better than 10 scripts and best case scenario it will take 6+ trips to fill my order that was called in all at the same time. Their also Expensive, but the rest of the store is fine its just the pharmacy that stinks. Mater fact the store manager is a great guy.

Bellport CVS Pharmacy is the WORST! They texted me my prescription was ready so I went the NEXT day…read moreand they said it will be ready in an hour, come back! Not the first time this happened! The girl with blonde hair working was sooo RUDE. NOT A HELLO, have a nice day, nothing. She asked my name and date of birth, said $11.00, I gave it to her then she threw my prescription in basket. Not a word was said. I called the manager because she should not be working with the public if she can not be respectful or friendly! The pharmacy has such low reviews and NEVER has anything ready when the are supposed to or when the text you saying it's ready! I'm switching to Medicine Shoppe!
