Located in downtown town Brookfield, this is a small café that serves breakfast and lunch foods. This side of downtown has plenty of parking off the street in front of the businesses. When you walk in, it looks small initially, but it's a lot larger than you think once you see the back area. I ordered the fruit covered cinnamon french toast. It was a huge plate. I also ordered a side of bacon. The straps were long, and you get 4 of them. They have large tables to sit more people. There were 5 of us with no issue. The food came out quick, and the staff constantly walked around, refilling your water or coffee. The french toast was delicious. They covered it with a lot of bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. It's a nice café that I think most people don't know about. read more

I have ordered many, many breakfasts from here since COVID. The hash browns are odd - half-burned in some cases - but almost more like fried smashes potatoes than the traditional shredded hash browns I expect. Their Brookfield omelette is unique in having. Hollandaise topping and satisfying in an old school diner, greasy way. The coffee is undrinkable, but otherwise a solid old school diner breakfast. Very consistent. read more

Service was lovely. I ordered a patty melt that came with fries, cream of rice soup, , and cole slaw. Fries were an odd texture and not cooked though. The patty melt was kinda sad. I did order it medium so maybe that contributed. Coleslaw was bland and dry and an odd yellow color. Cream of rice soup was bland and flavorless. Service was really good. We wanted to sit outside on the patio and even though there wasn't enough room for us they made it work by adding tables. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was decent. The hash browns were different - not necessarily bad just not what I'm used to. I got the Denver crepe, which was good but definitely needed a bit more cheese. Good morning Foodzies, today we went to The Brookfield breakfast restaurant at 3755 Grand Blvd. in Brookfield. It's a nice cozy family restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, no music just chatter from the nearby tables. Glenda had the peppers and eggs sandwich with avocado. Not recommended. The peppers were raw, bread was a plain French bread it needed to be toasted. The sandwich had not seasoning at all. I had an American cheese omelette with hash browns again no seasoning there was barely any cheese and the pancakes were small and dense. I give it 2 stars, try it out and let me know what you think. OMG! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Me and my hubby like to do little roadtrips to places in Illinois since we live in the city and came across this place while driving (note that is not that far from the city tho lol) but the food is sooooo good! The size of the food is huge and the prices are amazing, the orange juice is natural orange juice!! The server was amazing and took amazing care of us, and the restaurant it self is just a vibe! Super calm and amazing for families that want to come and have breakie together!! Im coming back just to try all the stuff that they have in their menu because they have so many things too!!! read more

Based off existing reviews, I went in expecting the service to be less than stellar, but every time we have been here, the staff has been helpful and friendly. The food has been great every time. The bacon Belgian waffle w/ eggs was great, the Chilaquiles were hearty and spicy, and the classic breakfast did the trick. So I am off work and after a early appointment, I want breakfast. My daughter had mentioned that she was here. So I decided to take her advice and check it out. So I go to, my Go To. Denver omelet, I get a side of sausage patties, and black coffee. I order the Pattie's medium, I hate hockey pucks. Toast was English muffin buttered. Everything came perfect. The wait staff was great, cheerful and friendly. The best, most surprising was the offer of a coffee to go. On reflection, I might have been charged additionally for it, but was so flabbergasted by the offer I'm not sure. $27 with a $5 tip. Seems to be about the going price when you consider inflation. read more

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We went today and they still had outdoor dining and it was a beautiful 75 degrees!!! The waitress and other team members could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We had the chorizo burrito which was stuffed with the homemade Mexican sausage, cheese, eggs and veggies. But the show stopper is the homemade green salsa. I would eat that salsa on anything!!! It is just so good. We also had a kids chicken nuggets. Which should not even make this review but they seemed homemade too and my little guy loved them. I snuck one and was very impressed. We rounded the table out with a bacon, mushroom, onion and spinach omelette. The omelette is made with real eggs and you can really taste the difference. Most breakfast places give you huge, wet sloppy omelettes. This is a real breakfast omelette. It came with really well cooked hash-browns and normal sized fluffy pancakes. They're middle of the road. Need to work out some kinks and management needs to train their staff. It was a little disorganized and staff was unprepared for Sunday morning rush. However, Staff was friendly and courteous. Menu is your typical breakfast menu with skillets, Benedict's, combination plates and pancakes. I had the Mediterranean skillet with two eggs over medium. Eggs were surprisingly cooked over medium however my BF's were not cooked over medium as ordered. :( Overall, not a bad breakfast experience. I've had a lot worse. First time ordering, but for a $30 breakfast they were really stingy with syrup for the pancakes. They had no problem throwing 17 packets of ketchup in the bag for the hash browns -- (which I didn't ask for). However I specifically asked on the item comments and on the overall order comments for syrup since I don't have any at home. What I got was about a 1 oz container that was half full of syrup -- enough to cover about 1/2 of 1 pancake. I may as well eat dry toast or a bagel without cream cheese. A year ago when this breakfast might have been $15, I would bite my tongue and not complain. For $30, I'm complaining. If restaurants can't make it worth that kind of money to eat out, I'll stop eating out. read more
