I handed my Dr's order/request along with my health card to the lady. Now, there were 3 people behind the desk (2 front desk & 1 possibly a tech off duty), and they were laughing at the reason why I would need an X-ray. I felt quite bothered that I had the urge to explain, but the more they kept discussing about it & laughing. Honestly, I'm in the health field as well, and that kind of behavior was definitely not professional. Plus, why would you question my Dr's request? As I was called in, I was given a disposal gown, explained that I'd have to really pull on the tie to stretch it & then I was directed to a curtained change room. As I was opening the gown, I honestly thought I ripped it or didn't do it properly because the edges of the gown were quite stuck together & the tie also fell on the floor; which I had no idea it was detached. On my mind it was attached to the gown, like a normal gown. So I found that out when I stuck my head out & asked if I did it right & told her the tie fell. Then she explained that it's fine, I just have to really pull the tie to stretch it. It was a "oh my gosh! Like duhh!! " kind of moment. Inside the X-ray room, she was able to explain & guide me throughout the procedure, which I appreciate. Despite the unprofessional behaviour up at the front desk, I really appreciated the service with the X-ray. For that I'm giving 4 stars.

For a diagnostic lab it astonishes me that more people have not noted how comically inaccessible…read morethis place is to someone, like me, who is old, has a mobility/balance problem, arrives by cab and uses a walker. Surely there are others like me. One alights at the garage entrance, not at a front door with Heaven forbid elevators. There are golf carts (I am not making this up) available to drive the patient (and walker) up through the garage to the destination floor. That is just the beginning. After some twists and turns there is a looong corridor to walk before reaching the lab. Repeat to exit once the lab work is done. Then, down at the curb, you get to wait until an Uber driver succeeds in finding that particular Oakridge garage entrance. There were some absolutely lovely Garda people who let me sit under their awning, helped talking with lost drivers and finally went out into the street to guide the Uber. The lab people were helpful and professional, hence the three stars.

More than two weeks later they have yet to return my call or set an appointment. I've called several times since and they never pick up the phone. I would not recommend going to this clinic under any circumstances based on my experience.

So she gave me the referral letter with a list of places I could go. Brooke is nearer to me so I decided to try it. The drawback is there is no free parking at the plaza it's located in, unlike the previous place I went to. I was used to popping over to a radiology/imaging center right after getting the referral letter from the doctor with no appointment. So I did that and discovered I do need an appointment if I'm getting other tests besides X-ray. X-ray does not need an appointment. It's walk in. The service from the reception was quite brusque, not very friendly. They kinda barked at you on the process of even how to wait in line. You only wait in line if you have an appointment. Otherwise just take a number and wait for it to be called. Despite the sign, it wasn't clear to most patients. I guess we are used to just checking in first and then wait. The other staff (technicians, radiologist etc) were friendlier and much better in making you feel comfortable and relaxed so you won't feel nervous about getting tests done. You just have to get through the hurdle of the reception.

Searched Yelp for private MRI in Vancouver and found 2 places. One of them with many reviews and only 2 stars (Argh....) and AIM Medical Imaging with only 2 reviews but both were excellent. I would like to thank Yelp and also the previous reviewers. This clinic is EXCELLENT. I called at 8,35AM and got my exam scheduled to the same day. Clinic is modern, clean and with very friendly staff. After the exam, I went to listen to the doctor who gave me the good news that the anterior crucial ligament (ACL) was not totally torn but....... (Why there is always a "but"???) ... my meniscus had been flipped and are not in the right place. So....I need surgery to be able to walk again. When we left the clinic I was given a pen drive with the images, so I can send for several doctors to listen who is going to perform the surgery. Few hours after the exam I received on my email box the medical report. AIM is also sending all images and report to my Family Doctor. I highly recommend this clinic! Now.....time to search for the best meniscus repair surgeon.....OMG.... Hoping to hit the slopes next year, I wish you all a nice day! :)

This place was the cheapest of them all, and included a consultation with the radiologist after the scan. It was superb!! They organised the scan in less than 24 hours, and the service was impeccable, absolutely flawless. The radiologist provided a really useful initial interpretation of the results, and had them on CD and on a weblink and sent to our family doctor within an hour of the scan.

Applying is only by their online site. I took a picture of physical requisition paper by smartphone and sent it on their application format. And they will send back a PDF file to your email as confirmation. I know the address the building but to find the room was challenging. There was no major sign. To be honest, it's kinda skeptical place for those medical service. However the service was good. The appointment confirmation call the day before was very cold and not much explanation for the instruction which I almost failed. The receptionist lady was very flexible thankfully. The test room was just regular and clean enough.

Went to the downtown one (In Chinatown) and you'd never know there was one in this Asian mini plaza, upstairs just to the right on the second floor, tucked away They were helpful. Told me if I was willing to wait 45 mins I could stay and get it done same day without having to come back another day. Seeing as I've been running around town all morning trying to book somewhere. I waited. Waited 7 mins. Was out of there in 20 mins total. They only do I think it says X-rays without appointment. And everything else you need appointment? But I think that might be if it's super booked. They obviously were not very busy there was plenty of chairs in the waiting area THANK YOU TO THE LOVELY LADY THAT DID MY ULTRASOUND TODAY This is a list of all the places that DO NOT DO ROTATOR CUFF ULTRASOUNDS..... shocking right? Best to call a place. Leave a message and ask, before going. I didn't have the luxury of such time and my work hours don't permit me to call during their business hours anyways. And most of these places the phones robot driven. You can't actually speak to anyone cuz it will send you to voicemail no matter what you press.

My daughter went for an ultrasound and the technician was so rude…read more Questioned why she was there, told her the diagnosis that the Dr was investigating wasn't possible (even though she has a documented history) and took less than 5 min to the exam which is significantly less time than previous scans. The report our dr got was 4 lines and didn't even list the area in question. Technicians are not suppose to question or judge the patient or the Dr. Will not waste our time going back here. Dr was made aware as to not encourage patients to choose this location. You are putting your health at risk with poor quality care.

They were quick to get me in for MRI which was…read morewhy I absorbed the $205 additional cost compared to another clinic that had appointments 4 days later; and I was out the door of their neat, modern, compact clinic with a disc in under an hour - however it's been 4 full business days, 6 total days and still no report from Radiologist. I did not go for an MRI out of curiousity - I went because of acute undiagnosed pain that is being treated with narcotics and anti-seizure meds. But - In the current health care arena - nothing happens until my doc receives Radiologist report. So I'm feeling that Priority dropped the ball on their turnaround from booking MRI to reporting on results. Without results, it's a meaningless, expensive painful exercise.

The reception is efficient but friendly. I was told only 3 people were ahead of me, but it took 1.5 hours to see Dr. Varma. She was not friendly, and throughout my visit she didn't communicate what was going on and behaved very oddly. Example: rather than ask me to lift my shirt she just walked up and started pulling it up with the door to the room wide open. Only after she spent a few minutes pulling my shirt up did she close the door to our room. She stood up close and gestured that she wanted to see my throat and when I opened my mouth to comply she instead stabbed me hard with a long q-tip to the back of my throat. I think a Dr. should warn you before putting things in your mouth, and the way she's did this was excessively forceful. She got angry when I told her she hurt me. She wrote me out a prescription but didn't tell me what I had, or what the prescription was for. As she was escorting me out of the patient room I asked and she gave me a very vague answer. No matter how bad you feel. Do not go here. Like the other reviewer said. There has never been a worse doctor.

The receptionists are extremely rude and quite frankly not intelligent enough to run a clinic. I don't have the energy to write out all of the horrible experiences I have had here, but I refuse to return here ever again and will avoid it at all costs. The only reason I started going to see Dr. Varma is because she was the only doctor I could find to take new patients in Richmond when we moved here last year. Now I can see why - I'm sure no one continues to go here if they have any choice at all. I will leave you with my favourite anecdote about this clinic. The last time I was there, I waited 1 hr for my scheduled appointment, only to overhear Dr Varma tell the receptionist to close the office and send everyone home because, and I quote, "they're all sick here" The stupid, rude receptionist then proceeded to come out and tell us all that the doctor had a family emergency and had to leave. I'm sure I don't need to say any more. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. JUST DON'T.
