Don't ever put your family member here! They are NOT understanding PEOPLE, unprofessional, neglect…read moremany of their clients, no care for their client's well-being, horrible management ever since Kristie left. I used to work here and had to take care of 10 clients alone which made it extremely difficult to always keep an eye on all my clients when it was time for a bath. Working here was like working for a bunch of high schoolers. The new manager who took over after Kristie was the worst. She was the worst manager I ever had. Let's just say if she didn't like you, you're out of a job. I worked here for only 3 months, followed all the rules but still, it wasn't enough, because someone hated I was a rule follower and did my job as i was taught/by the book. So it made them look bad. SO i decided to quit before i got more caught up in the staffs drama.I'm a very compassionate person and care for anyone I take care of. This place will not show you that care. Trust me

Here you will find an intimate environment where residents receive individual attention provided by a professionally managed, highly trained and compassionate staff, available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. They have a specialized activity program specific to each individual resident. You may not see several group activities, but more intimate one on one activities tailored to the preferences of each resident. Anyone can say anything in a review while remaining anonymous. I suggest going in on your own at any time for a tour to see what is really happening at the cottages. It is always hard for families when they lose a loved one to this terrible disease and often are looking to place blame somewhere. If the needs of their loved one was not being met please ask yourself why they would allow their parent or loved one to remain there. The reason is because the care is exceptional and they know their loved one is safe in this specialized environment.

I personally still have heath and the life choices still available to me are enhanced by the entertainment special occasions provided and help fill my time as my wife sleeps for extended periods.I suspect that if I would be left by myself-I would just call this home. After 2 weeks of having outside 24hr care paid separately from facility, I was told they would re- evaluate to see if he was good with just their staff. It didn't happen I let the $5100.00 a week caregiver go and my husband was found on the floor less than a week later had phnemonia and passed away the 7th day after not having fulltime care. The nurse would not respond to phone calls and when she did it was with rude and had a nasty attitude. They did manage to give my husband more sedation meds after the caregiver was gone so they could keep him from wondering. I say look into memory facilities closely but I would pass on Harbour Pointe . They were planning on evaluating him on the day he died now that's convenient. My husband deserved much better care than he received. If I could only go back in time he never would have been in that facility. I know this show San Francisco but it is Mukilteo WA
