I worked here for only 3 months, followed all the rules but still, it wasn't enough, because someone hated I was a rule follower and did my job as i was taught/by the book. So it made them look bad. You may not see several group activities, but more intimate one on one activities tailored to the preferences of each resident. Anyone can say anything in a review while remaining anonymous. I suggest going in on your own at any time for a tour to see what is really happening at the cottages. It is always hard for families when they lose a loved one to this terrible disease and often are looking to place blame somewhere. If the needs of their loved one was not being met please ask yourself why they would allow their parent or loved one to remain there. The reason is because the care is exceptional and they know their loved one is safe in this specialized environment.

She and her husband Frank (it was the combination that won Dad over in the end) were 100% available and prompt and their experience and contacts ended up with Mom in an excellent and beautiful home in Edmonds. They both have a very kind, strong (we needed that!) and personable way, which they bring to all of the encounters we witnessed. They were intuitive about what would move this very difficult situation forward and were correct! Please call them if you are super stuck like we were!

It is apparent that she truly cares about the people she is helping and I have remained in touch.

From the first phone conversation, through placement, and beyond, I felt like I was being taken by the hand by a good friend or sister who knows business well. Subsequently, we found our she had fairly advanced terminal cancer. The level of care and kindness shown by the entire staff (thanks, Kelly, Nedra, Michael) really touched our hearts. It's not the fanciest place I've seen, but the kindness, love and level of care mean that your loved one will be well taken care of. Our mom ended up in hospice, and eventually passed away in January, 2020. Throughout her suffering and our grief, the staff was kind, supportive and always helpful. They took most excellent care of her, both physically and emotionally. Thanks to all of you.

There are…read moresmall things like all parking spots are reserved for at least $75 a month, and guest spots only have five spots usually taken up by construction. But I'm talking about this place is DANGEROUS! The quality of look, area, and neighbors have dramatically drop. What I experinced, multiple drug dealers, drunk guys celebrating their 21st in the apartment gym with a giant bottle of Azuls Tequila in the middle of the afternoon. A 300lb man stalking womens first floor windows in the middle of the night peeping through an open window. Office had me identify them and had multiple reports of him on cameras, I know one woman had to relocate units for saftey. Snohomish drug task force just raided a unit in January. Heroin needles all over the trash area. Drugged up neighbors puking in walkways. And to top it all off when I move out with a zero balance, I get my deposit back, then they secretly charge me with debt collection. I had to pay to avoid it going on my credit report. Why give me money back if I owe something? My account was closed with $0 balance. Don't give them benifits of the doubts, old manager and office workers knew, and neglected it the dangerous stuff. They had a ton of videos and emails from neighbors. For a place that advertises as luxury, I had safer apartments for half the price.

I've got large windows, high ceilings and lots of light!! I have indoor pets and they love looking outside and sitting on the window sills. These apartments are conveniently located to five different grocery stores, 2 gyms, countless restaurants and is on the Swift line if you need to get around. There was a miscommunication when I moved in and the office and maintenance team rallied to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Most recently I was having an issue with my garage door and both the office and maintenance team were responsive and empathetic. I submitted a maintenance request the night before and first thing the next morning I got a phone call from maintenance to schedule time to come by. All of my neighbors keep to themselves but the few interactions I have had, they are very friendly and respectful (i.e., no loud noises at night). It's my personal opinion that these are the best apartment in the area. The only drawback, which is common with most every place, is the annual rent increases. I like it enough that I would consider moving to a less expensive unit, if needed.

We are so glad we found US Inns Adult Family Home in Everett a few years ago. She was a tough one to please, so this was a real blessing to us that we found a place that pleased her and did not feel or smell like a retirement home. My mom, being an introvert, was never interested in a large senior community and preferred to live in a place that felt like her 'home'. After visiting many adult care homes in Everett, we knew the minute we walked into US Inns that this was the right place for my mom. US Inns is located in a quiet neighborhood setting on a side street. It is clean, roomy and decorated nicely for their residents. They have a cozy sun-lit dining room with a large picture window for residents to enjoy the view of gardens and flowerbeds. The patio is a cheerful place to enjoy the sun and guests who preferred to be outdoors on nice days. Helen, the fantastic manager of US Inns and her main assistant Betty, are exceptional! They work hard to make sure their 'family' residences have the best care and give them love through humor and compassion. Other staff members are very responsible and caring too. They are a solid team, no transitions in staffing which is a good sign of an excellent company! At the beginning, my mom needed care due to limited physical abilities, but her mind was sharp as a tack! She enjoyed playing cards and doing crafts (Pre-Covid) As her health failed, US Inns allowed hospice to come in and help with care. That made my mom feel good, knowing that she could stay at US Inns until the end of her time. When some people think of Adult Family Homes, they may think it is only for seniors who are severely incapable of doing things on their own or has dementia. But it's also for people who can think clearly and enjoy being around like -minded people in a comfortable home setting. I highly recommend US Inns Adult Family Home on 37th PL SE in Everett.
