Super Burrito-carne asada
Allison F.

Bronze's Taqueria 2 is located in the same shopping center as Lucky grocery and in the same building which held a mexican restaurant previously. I had never been to Bronze's Taqueria in Pleasanton but I heard good things about it and was excited for a new mexican restaurant near me. I was able to order my burrito online with ease and there was a lot of meat options. The employee working the register was nice and assisted me with my pick up order which was ready right on time. The burrito itself was tasty and filled with pretty even portions of ingredients. The super burrito was around $17 which was is pretty much the same as everywhere else these days although I do wish the burrito was a bit larger because I love having leftovers. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a new mexican spot to try!

Bronze's Taqueria 2 opened 2 months ago in Crazy George Taqueria vacated space. Infrastructure similar with 4 tables inside & 2 tables outside. Had menudo a few years ago in Pleasonton. Was impressed. This location is a lot smaller. Offerings (Mexican) on flatscreens overhead in back: tortas, tacos, burritos, plates, quesadillas, soups & Caldo a, breakfast, ala carte, drinks, plates, similar to most Mexican places. Ordered & pd at counter as it wasn't busy. Sound from a sportscast from flatscreen in Spanish permeated the eatery. The front door was open so it was a little drafty. Food came out timely, between 5-10 minutes. The chef brought out a ceviche tostada, said it was "on the house" or something like that. The associate then place the 3 tacos I ordered on the table. Believed I say "thanks" to both. I was in disarray as to what to eat lst. In the confusion, I forgot to take pics of the food. Only the receipt and the eatery. Ceviche Tostada (comped). Seldom eat this. Usually the Peruvian version. -made by submerging fresh fish portions in lime juice. Chill in fridge. Mix in diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro. Top with sliced avocados. -soo good! Great alternative if Peruvian ceviche not available. natural juices & fish flavas. Tripa/lengua/cabeza tacos: 3.99 each -regular sized tortilla shells not street sized. -generous servings of each in their natural juices so tacos a bit mushy. Had garnishes of onions, cilantros, & hot jalepenos. -also mucho delicious. Amongst best in area. Red salsa wasn't too hot. Self serve fried tortilla chips thick & crunchy under heat lamp. 5 stars Worthy! Quick service Quantity plentiful. Quality excellent. Definite repeat. Need to decide what to order.... ***maybe cook remember me from Pleasanton visit.

Chicken fajitas plate

I got a to go order of the chicken fajitas with pinto beans. For the most part I liked what I got. The fajitas were heavy on the chicken and I believe it's an uncommon opinion but I wished for more peppers! There weren't any chewy bits of chicken. It was a lot of chicken and not much pepper. They were generous with the crema, guac, and lettuce. Stingy with the cheese!!! The flavor of the pinto beans was richer and more flavorful than pintos are usually. It was really a flavor packed dish, healthy with tons of stuff packed in. I would go again for sure.

Tripa Super Burrito

Located in Luckys plaza so no issue parking. Ordered the tripa super burrito to try. Plus tax it's $18. It's a small place with 4 tables to sit. Even tho it's not cheap, it was a pretty good burrito, the tripa was juicy and soft, the tortilla was thin, the rice and bean was smooth. I would totally come back again for the tripa super soft burrito, would try to add extra tripa!

I am a big fan of Bronzes in Pleasanton so when I saw BT2 open up in CV I was excited to try. Finally went it Friday afternoon. Very clean space, small but functional. Extremely friendly Male and Female Employees. I'm not sure if they are the owners? I Walked up to the counter and ordered the chicken soup. There was no size option that I saw. I forgot to ask for corn tortillas but luckily that's what I received. Chips were self serve and were tasty and had crunch. The salsa was not out so I asked for the Green which they brought to my Table. The flavor was just OK. Both brought my soup accompanied by a plate with the tortillas, onion/cilantro. The cost was near & $18.00. I was surprised by the small portion. There were two pieces of chicken (ok protein size) but it was dry, a two large cut green zucchini pieces and a small potato cut in half. I wanted to Like the soup but it lacked flavor. I might give it a few months and try again. I'm a soup person so that's what I would Order.

Muah!! Perfecto!

Tried the food here a few weeks ago and it was good. The chips were stale, but the fajitas and burrito were good. Service was great.

I ordered three tacos and refried beans: *Tripas - this is one of my go too and the way I measure a great taco place, though a lot of places are overly crispy or overtired and oily. This might be my favorite tripas that I've had *Lengua - delicious and perfectly tender. This is my other go to, and my absolute favorite meat *Cabeza - this was fine, definitely very tender I feel like I have to go back because I ordered regular tacos, and my friend ordered the vampiro tacos (basically with fried gooey cheese), and she said hers were delicious, and I definitely want to try that!

Mainly due to my dad being hospitalized around the corner but each night we have come and tried different entrees and all have hit the mark. We have had their quesibirrias which are large and flavorful, the super burritos with a generous portion of meat, green enchiladas and great ratios of everything else. Ate so fast we forgot to take pictures. We have also had their street lengua tacos and while these were good they needed a touch more salt but were plentiful. They have a nice selection of agua frescas from pineapple to Horchata to Jamaica and Coke fountain products. Their chips are fresh tasty and free with plenty of salsas to satisfy every spice tolerance level from mild to hot! Finally we tried the churros which I dare say were a bit dangerous (must try but full of sweetness) so only had one! The location is modest in decor and size but a warm and friendly environment with a TV with the latest games on make up for anything modern. If you want to come and enjoy a great straight forward Mexican meal this is your spot!

The taco was pretty solid and there were the standard toppings of rice and refried beans, pico de gallo, sour cream and guac. The guac was a little more of a sauce-type of quality, but I still felt like it was pretty good, just a little bit of a creamy consistency. The corn tortilla was a little dry but overall I enjoyed my taco and would be excited to try the other items like the empanadas, Papusas, and enchiladas. The service was great and kind. I ordered on a website and the order was ready a little after the stated time. The ambiance is like a true Taquería - very casual and plenty of seating and light. Overall it is a very nice Mexican restaurant.

Sister and other uncle really enjoyed. Great flavor, nice filling Tortilla chips and salsa complimentary. Service super attentive and professional. Our server (my bad didn't get her name) was always checking on us and the manager stopped over as well. Cousin said the carne asada tacos were a bit different the week before (he visits weekly to visit Uncle at the nearby care home) and something changed this week but still good. Maybe different chef *shrugs* Interior decor like a Mexican Villa. Nice and clean with a full bar. Sadly, place isn't too busy but hope they get more business in the evening and weekends. Spot has been around for a long time and hate to see them leave. Great spot for a big gathering, happy hour. Parking can be a bit tricky so best to find parking on the streets to avoid the circling and grief of dealing with inconsiderate (and clueless) people.
