I lived in the area years ago and wanted to reconnect and get the paper mail delivered and finally just had a friend send me a copy. The paper is ok but I seriously question some things such as what the claim to be their circulation.It seems very inflated just as their advertising rates for a weekly publication. The news is generally good and its good to have a community paper in the Riverdale area. Id say read the paper in a library or maybe buy a copy once in a while.I would not after just reading it spent money weekly on it... They need to get way more local news to appeal rather then being a gossip sheet.

I like it mostly for the police blotter type stories which I find interesting and amusing unless it's a serious crime like assault and other felonies which I don't find interesting or amusing but makes me angry as hell. Good local paper to see what's going on in queens and upcoming events that's not usually advertised in local papers or news media outlets. 4.5 stars for good reading material while having breakfast in Astoria on Sundays .

I rate it four stars as local community newspapers as Queens Gazette is hard to local in small communities as Hollis Hills, Richmond Hill, or Ozone Park but residents need to flock to larger populated communities within Queens as Flushing, Forest Hills to obtain a copy of the Gazette. The Queens Gazette often announces events as the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Flushing and in The Rockaways. Queens, home to the 1964 and 1965 New York World's Fair, two airports, and Aqueduct Racetrack!

Membership to subscribers for the internet version is free. The print circulation of the Times Ledger Newspaper is also free. I rate Times Ledger four stars despite it's niche market there are a lot of local events missed out such as Flushing's annual Dragon Boat Festival, Brooklyn's Botantial Garden's Sakura Matsuri, etc.

The care is exemplary from the Dr.'s, Nurses, Aids, to the Therapists who Rehabilatate the patients who reside there for however long a period of time is necessary. I must commend especially Hadee, Flo, and last but not least Russ, who are outstanding,in their work as Therapists. I reflect back to time spent there three years ago. Many of my friends have had a stay there as well and feel as I do. One of my friends is there now recovering from knee surgery and I went to visit finding the same wonderful atmosphere as I did in the past. We also appreciated his enthusiasm for our idea, thought partnership and creativity as new drafts for each product were made. His passion for his craft is undeniable. The pdf documents he shared of the designs as we developed them together were beautiful. I've uploaded samples of them with this review to Yelp. Also important, Keith hand-delivered the materials to us in midtown. The quality of the paper he used to print the designs was top notch. When…read moreI called to place my order, before money was transferred, I made it clear I need the product within two days and did not have room for error as I had to travel out of town with the shirts . He assured me that there was sufficient time for my product to be made would be available within my requested time frame. I received it a day after the expected date.I was very clear on my design preference and color scheme. When I received the product it was partially what I wanted and never received a call that a change to my design would be made . I texted Paul to let him know the product wasn't what we agreed on( as I received my delivery from his assistant, whom I also made aware it was not what I requested). I have yet to receive a reply. It's shame because I wanted to be able to do more projects but this gave me a bad view of the integrity of the business . I think if he had the courtesy to let me know he did the change before I received the product , it would have been better. Quality Customer care doesn't end once you receive payment. The work wasn't bad but it wasn't what I wanted and that made it disappointing experience .

You can't ask for anything more from an architect. Maggie drew up the plans for a finished basement and redesign of my entire first floor. The renovation was fairly complicated, especially creation of a finished basement which involved lowering the existing basement floor, underpinning of the foundation walls, and complicated re-routing of existing plumbing and electrical. Maggie drew up all the blue-prints, took care of all the necessary filing and permits with the Village, and oversaw all of the work performed by contractors and subcontractors. Maggie is also as pleasant as can be and was super responsive to all of my phone calls and emails. She even has contacts for engineering services at a reasonable price; you will find that engineering calculations are almost always required for any major renovation, and that a good engineer at a reasonable price is impossible to find. Needless to say, the renovation turned out beautifully, and without exaggeration, I could not have done it without Maggie's services!!! So you can imagine what happens next I call the guy due to his no show he says he sent his son thos morning and no one was there haha that's a lie my mother is 89 years old and NY just got nailed from the snow storm where the heck can she go. So he says to me that he would be to my mother's house in a half hour that was at 11 am it is now 3:36pm that I am posting this. Long story short I made several attempts to call and text this guy between 11 and 3:57pm. No return call not even a text. So you know what's next he stiffed me for $845.00 I paid in good faith that he would do his job. I am a disabled veteran but trust me I'll be driving to NY tonight. This guy may think he only screwed me over what he doesn't understand he screwed my elderly mother over, I prey he enjoys his $845.00.
