I lived in the area years ago and wanted to reconnect and get the paper mail delivered and finally just had a friend send me a copy. The paper is ok but I seriously question some things such as what the claim to be their circulation.It seems very inflated just as their advertising rates for a weekly publication. The news is generally good and its good to have a community paper in the Riverdale area. Id say read the paper in a library or maybe buy a copy once in a while.I would not after just reading it spent money weekly on it... They need to get way more local news to appeal rather then being a gossip sheet.

I like it mostly for the police blotter type stories which I find interesting and amusing unless it's a serious crime like assault and other felonies which I don't find interesting or amusing but makes me angry as hell. Good local paper to see what's going on in queens and upcoming events that's not usually advertised in local papers or news media outlets. 4.5 stars for good reading material while having breakfast in Astoria on Sundays .

I rate it four stars as local community newspapers as Queens Gazette is hard to local in small communities as Hollis Hills, Richmond Hill, or Ozone Park but residents need to flock to larger populated communities within Queens as Flushing, Forest Hills to obtain a copy of the Gazette. The Queens Gazette often announces events as the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Flushing and in The Rockaways. Queens, home to the 1964 and 1965 New York World's Fair, two airports, and Aqueduct Racetrack!

Membership to subscribers for the internet version is free. The print circulation of the Times Ledger Newspaper is also free. I rate Times Ledger four stars despite it's niche market there are a lot of local events missed out such as Flushing's annual Dragon Boat Festival, Brooklyn's Botantial Garden's Sakura Matsuri, etc.

Forest View Rehabilation and Nursing Center is the place to be if one should require these…read moreservices. The place is outstanding! It is immaculately clean and has excellent food. The care is exemplary from the Dr.'s, Nurses, Aids, to the Therapists who Rehabilatate the patients who reside there for however long a period of time is necessary. I must commend especially Hadee, Flo, and last but not least Russ, who are outstanding,in their work as Therapists. I reflect back to time spent there three years ago. Many of my friends have had a stay there as well and feel as I do. One of my friends is there now recovering from knee surgery and I went to visit finding the same wonderful atmosphere as I did in the past. I will end this review by stating that you cannot find a better facility of this kind anywhere! I personally will never forget! Barbara U
