The problem is that while I frequent those sites for their entertainment value, I'm hard pressed to rationalize an extra $30 bucks a month for content that doesn't have the immediacy and credibility of those sources that I pay for willingly such as the NYT, WSJ and The Economist to name a few. It's probably fair to say that their paywall gambit counts on their advertising continuing to be placed by AdTech "bots" rather that human buyers who might consider more subjective reader engagement metrics such as overall quality of the environments and a more robust match with client objectives. Again, even though I enjoy their entertainment value, it's amazing what you can learn to live without. After a month, I barely remember that they exist. Five stars for amnesia.

The Queens Gazette often announces events as the Saint Patrick's Day parade in Flushing and in The Rockaways. Queens, home to the 1964 and 1965 New York World's Fair, two airports, and Aqueduct Racetrack!

When we call the paper a angry lady usually tell us that our gate is locked (we don't have a lock mechanism on the gate) and that's why he don't deliver the paper when the truth is that he just toss it out his window. I don't understand why the paper think they do us a huge favor deliver? They pay the delivery driver and we pay the paper so nothing is free and should not be treated as a favor.

USA today was good at giving info on what's going on across the country and international as well. I really enjoyed the sports section and it had all the major sports covered . A few days ago I was in a nostalgia mood and notice a bunch of USA today papers along with the other daily newspapers and grabbed one for the memories.
