This is my second review. To recap; I was unsatisfied with their service for months and finally said enough. They tried to sell me another service to keep my paying. I run a small business and my dissatisfaction with the service was well documented. My gym was closed during Covid-19 and they sent a collection agency after me for the last two months of the contract. I posted a negative review. Vivial said in the review that they were going to have an account representative call me. Instead, I have been again contacted by the collection agency. Vivial is just a big business churning through clients. $ first - clients 0 This is my third review. The Director of Customer Service contacted me. BEWARE!! This company is a total SCAM. They don't even have a Facebook page anymore because they've been called out. I was roped into an "agreement" by a man who no longer works there (now I know why), and the lady who was supposed to contact me halfway through to let me know how my "ad" was doing has not communicated with me ONCE. She has gone ghost. I've not seen ANY clicks on my page which pretty much let's me know they're not actually doing anything. They just continue to take my money and will be reported!!! read more

Vivial is a scam. They set you up for a 3 month try me and sign you up for other products that are on a 1-year contract. A very deceiving way to get a customer. i had to change bank account info so they would stop billing. Good luck trying to get someone to talk to on phone about this issue. Worst marketing investment of my life. $12K pissed down the drain. Not a single call or email from their ads. I've paid way less for way more performance elsewhere. All my phone numbers work and landing pages work, but their ads fail to deliver. We've changed things a hundred times still ZERO! We're in month 4 of our 6 month contract and guess how many inquires they got us? Yep - ZERO. I've since closed 300 new clients using other methods in those 4 months. This is the second review I have posted on Vivial...formerly Local Vox...formerly Berry Company...Formerly bankrupt. I sound very negative I'm sure. But they are very hard to deal with. I'm in the service business, so I understand very well that if I don't do the service I was hired for, I don't get paid. I would love to be able to sell contracts, and then sit back while the money rolled in. This is basically what they do. Sure, they eventually got around to setting up a very generic dashboard with obscure and optimistic analytics telling me how much they are doing for my online presence, but there is no real way to verify if they are doing any good in real life. They have slacked on their end of the agreement so many times, I have either had to call them, or when they call me, they say "Oh, looks like we haven't published an article in 4 months..." That is their one job, and I pay $300 a month for it! DO NOT get involved with these people, hopefully they go out of business so they can't rip anyone else off. When our company came to Vivial, we had been burned by another SEO agency that charged us a lot of money, did not respond to requests in a timely manner, and got us few results. Allison and Tyler were the exact opposite. They were extremely hands-on with our account, responsive to all requests, and were able to show measurable results via their analytics dashboard even after one month of working with us. We set up a website with Vivial, about a year ago. The website was one blunder after another, very Elementry and unusable. The whole time we complained and contacted to address issues, their main concern was to increase our budget. One example, was I received a call from unknown customer service rep, exsplaining to me she was gonna fix problems with site. I ask her to contact my rep, she didn't, she changed it completely, words that were not ours, pictures that were not only not ours, but not the hvac equipment we use. I can name 5 or 6 more things, when I reached out to supervisor, she called back the next day and told me she had talked to all the people that was involved in my site and they told her that is was all okay. Nothing is worse and more unprofessional than cold calls... well, except when they lie and claim they have already spoken to someone and that you are interested in them when you have zero interest. Phone rings, "hi, was wondering if (fake name) was around" "There is no such person here" "But I was speaking to them.." You were speaking to a person who doesn't exist? Really? That is the best you can come up with? Well, how can I really help you? I mean, obviously you are cold calling me, and think a lie is a good business strategy, but what do you really want? Proceeds to condescendingly explain to me that there is this thing called "social media" and we should be interested. Wow! really? Maybe I should talk about this social media thing on my facebook fan page, my blog, my twitter and my instagram account??? I started using localvox to take care of my online marketing and seo after I set a lot of it up. I was promised in 6 months I would be way better off with there service. As of today I've paid them 1500$ and have made 250$ directly from there efforts. The articles that were written were unprofessional. So I started writing my own and then my story wouldn't get published. After six months and 1500$ later I went from 4 Google maps to 11 and I'm sick and tired of this company robbing a small business like me. LocalVox has really helped market my mom's business online. She has improved substantially on Google, fixed her information on a lot of local directories where she had the wrong phone number listed, and now we are even building an email list and updating our website regularly. I never thought we would be able to do so much with such a small online budget. Our account manager Suheil at LocalVox is friendly and helpful. I will say I wish we could have separate accounts for each peson in the business, as opposed to one account for all of it. That's a small suggested improvement. My market segment, Mobile Locksmiths, have a HUGE challenge with cheaters and many of us feel the anti-bot and scammer features on Yelp is exactly what our industry needs to help consumers. Well one of the reps came in and I signed a contract. When I received my reports the locations they were advertising in were over 100 miles from my local business. They then said they would correct the problem. 2 weeks later the same city's were on the report. I called them the assured me it would be corrected. 2 more weeks same thing. I now called my credit card company and got as much of my money back as possible. They then sent my account to collections. I disputed in writing to the collection agency. Then someone from Vivial called my office and ask how this should be handled. I hope this helps I am looking for new customers they just seemed to be interested in the monthly payments. Absolutely a scam artist company! They lock you into a contract just to confuse you on the terms of the contract from the jump and then they leave you completely hanging with new communication there after. I saw zero results and to be quite honest I didn't even see anything that the advertising was doing as far as performance after the initial start. They lead you to believe that you have to autopay so you get the deal they offered but fail to really inform you of what that contract means so they just keep taking Your money after the contract is up saying you failed to cancel. One would think if you had seen zero ROI from their services you would have canceled had you known and understood what that autopay really meant. And try to make it right? They absolutely did not try to make it right instead sent me a terms and conditions form saying look here you signed this so forget us making anything right. I did I guess I did do that and clearly I was misinformed and not understanding of the terms, you'd think a company would want to make that right. Maybe I'm just salty here, I've been dealing with insurance companies and lawyers so being taken advantage of seems to be a common trend for me, but if I can stop even one person (especially a person who like me did their best to understand terms but clearly that wasn't the case, a person like me that is a single mother working her butt off to build businesses to support her family) then I will feel like I at least did something. So there is my review I have seen similar reviews of this company everywhere even on the BBB site. I've gotten lukewarm response at best so here's to hoping! read more

As a small business owner, I deeply regret signing up for LocalVox three month subscription. The company charged my credit card $1050 to provide a widget, which did not work on my website, articles on Nearsay, which never got any customer shares, and directories, which the company did not activate. In total this was a complete waste of time and money. I asked them to give me a refund but they refused stating that it takes three months for the campaign to work. My listing was on 1st Page .. 8-10 places for several keywords. I'm a SEO guy myself, but in google maps I have a little bit less knowledge. It took me 8 months to put my listing to 1st page... So, LocalVox person called me.. and after long conversation.. I was confirmed in that LocalVox can put my listing to 1st page, 3-6 place (so my listing will be shown in organic search with map integrated). Only because of that BIG PROMISE I started to work with them.... and then troubles started to come by.. In first month was made almost nothing.. for 80% my emails I didn't receive any answers.. in 2 months I received only 1! report.. Why? Because after 1 1/2 months with no replies... I found out that a person who was working on my project got fired... So, "Supervisor" stated he will personally control my case... Things looks like to start get better... some other person started to work on my case.. and after 2 months he was replaced with somebody else.. It was a big mess with my case, no one actually didn't clean that mess.. and in results... my listing felt down to 2nd! Page (13th place).. After 3 months of PAID Service. So I Got very angry, and refused to pay until my listing will come back to his original place. They promised.. it's took them another 3 months to put back my listing to 1st Page.... and Still I was getting reply n my emails only after I was sending them 3rd-4th Angry email about situation. I was promised what I will keep control on my listing, but right now I don't have it. They created duplicate listing on yelp.. it took me 2 months to ask them to remove it.. after they did that, again somebody of their guys created another one.. Headache.. Headache.. and Headache... They may help you out, if you are in NON BIG Competitive area (like barbershop in queens...), but it's total mess out with cases like mine. We are in IT and Computers Category, and it's pretty competetive are (maybe not like real estate.. but still pretty tough). Avoid.. Avoid Avoid! read more

Two articles where written when I should have had nine, they where suppose to help create marketing pages to this day nothing of that sort has happened. You are better off using google add words. Update 04/03/2015: I have now started receiving collections for services unpaid. This is outrageous, as I did not continue paying for their services and yet they still kept my account active. Again, another poor management decision. ------------------------- I am a past user of the LocalVox paid service of $300/month. Really wanted the service to help my business, but it was far from helpful. First, the articles from the assigned writer was very basic, with poor grammar and several spelling errors. But, I found out that this is a way an article can get more finds by a search engine. Poor practice, because I don't want to have my clients read my articles that look soo poorly written. I had to correct all articles before they were published... I didn't know the writer wasn't a well-trained writer. Maybe anyone can write articles, so hire just anyone. The writer also didn't know my industry, nor did the account manager. Restaurants may see their service as beneficial, because everyone should know how to write an article on how delicious a meal can be. But, when dealing with a professional service most people don't understand fully, then its not great to see your name associated with a poorly written article. And the pictures for the articles were less than well thought of. Some were of very bad taste. Secondly, Google Adwords has helped more than adding my site to a ton of directories that the average person doesn't use. I have continued getting just as many hits to my site as without this directory listing service. Third, Yelp is great, as it continues to bring more than LocalVox could ever, and for free. I had the same thoughts on these negative yelp reviews hurting a business and the good ones didn't get through, but that was all before I understood Yelp and how it worked. If you want a positive review about Yelp to show up, then find a user that has written more than the one review for your business. Then, you, the business owner, can simply reply a thank you to that reviewer, and voila, increase the chance that positive review shows up (it usually works once done.) So, the negative article on Yelp isn't fair to their business. Fourth, the account management can't even stick to the terms of a contract. If you don't get paid from an account, why continue working with them? It states in the contract service ends immediately. Why string it on? Also, month-to-month was written in the contract after the initial 6 months. The account manager received my email cancellation, then proceeds to tell me that it auto-renewed for another 6 months. Really?! Fifth, a new account manager, after my initial one was let go or quit after a few months, tells me, "I want to rewrite our whole SEO strategy for your business,and take it in a new direction." Yeah, no! Everyone who works with SEO will tell you you don't ever do this. You'll start over from where you were, wasting the businesses money. Really not good. Lose 6 months of effort is a really poor strategy. LocalVox did not help my business. If anything, it caused me to lose business, as I lost clients through their article email blastings. Read them articles before they are blasted, or you'll be sorry. So, please don't throw away your money to a company who doesn't know how to stick to their own contracts and has other bad practices. If you are in a niche industry, this is far from what you need. Google and Yelp your way to success! read more

Worst marketing company I've ever worked with... Over promised and under delivered. Churn 'em and burn 'em. Their parent company white labeled Yodel and use this as their customer portal. Their keyword selections are overly broad and setup to eat through your campaign as quickly as possible. They have called me numerous times over the year(s) despite me asking them not to call anymore. Its not really cutting edge technology, rather generic and not worth the big $$$ they want you to cough up. Theres good reason why they dont publically display their prices - they force you to provide your information ("fishing" for data) and then hound you. From what I've learned, the people doing your so called "marketing" at localvox arent doing anything you can't. If you are willing to do your homework and learn simple programs yourself - like social media, google, blogging & other everyday user programs - you can do your own local online marketing just as effectively for 80% less, plus you'll learn valuable skills. read more

Vivial does not care about your business, don't bother using them for your website hosting! We worked with them for MANY years, then we discovered many errors on our website that were never corrected when we had asked for them to be. We have gone back and forth with Omar of Vivial, who still hadn't made the changes after 6 months of giving them the corrections. Some terrors were not even proper English (typos!) and they never corrected them, even after multiple request by us for them to proofread what they had published on our website. We told Vivial we were considering having another company host and make the corrections, and Vivial told us they owned our website because they had provided the content (not true!) and our website were cease to exist if we cancelled. Not to be blackmailed, we hired another company to create a new website for us, which is now live. If you want to know who we used, please call us at 360-675-4978 and we will tell you whom.
