1st - Technician as able to respond to my needs by the next day. 2nd - Very courteous and kept me informed of his arrival time (we have dogs that need to be brought inside). 3rd - He was very thorough in his diagnostics approach and quickly got to the problem/solution . Thankfully, my spa was in working order. My problem was with a faulty circuit breaker. Although this was an expensive 1hr troubleshooting fee, it was worth it. My Spa has been out of order for several weeks while I attempted to find a technician that would work on it. Simple. If you have a hot tub, spa, whatever call Pierre. Have a Thermostat hot tub. They sent wrong parts. Pierre work directly and got corrected. Once new parts arrived, he completed the job (as quick as anything).But it wouldn't set up. I called and he walked me through it. No good. 5:30, rush hour, against the grain, came back and found the issue, again by Thermospa. I have no issues with Thermspa. Love my unit for 10 years now. But Pierre was the difference. I recently purchased an 8 year old house. The seller included a home warranty that included the pool equipment. My spa motor started tripping the circuit breaker and they sent out Barefoot Pools. The owner of that company came out and although very friendly he did do a good job at all. he replaced the motor as quickly he possibly could to get the job done, then left. i came home and turned on the motor and it sounded terrible. i called the warranty place and told them i wanted someone else. they sent out Bronco Spas. The owner of Bronco Spas came out and assessed the problem, ordered a bunch of parts that were covered under the warranty and even suggested a few improvements to the plumbing for a minimal cost to make the pump more accessible in the future. Not only did he fix the pump he made it better. His attention to detail was very good and i would call him again to work on my system. read more

I purchased a home earlier this year that came with the home warranty to include the pool and spa. As we rolled into winter we started using the pool and spa heater with no issues. As we fired it up last week once our guests arrived for the holidays, the heater would not stay lit. I called the home warranty people and they got me in touch with Bronco Spas immediately. The next day, Pierre was out at our house troubleshooting and identified the problem right away. He went back and processed the paperwork and ordered the part so that everything was ready to go on Monday morning after the long weekend. He just left my house and the heater is heating up the hot tub as we speak. Very quick, very accurate, no BS. I also want to add one plug for his honesty. I was interested in replacing my pool pump with a variable speed pump and his recommendation was to leave it for now based on the pump that I have. I feel like any other company would've just taken my money and did the job even though I would not have seen the results I was hoping for an energy savings. Pierre put my pool heater in 1.5 yrs ago. Not working now, so I ask call him to ask him to come out and look at it. He says it will have to go to warrantee company. I asked him this could be a very simple fix perhaps, as I don't know pool heaters and would like him to just come take a quick look. He said it would cost $135 to come take a look. As he installed it, I personally think he should just take a fast look and if it needs more then fine........But...I'm ok with paying $135 for him to look at it. Very rude, rushed, unprofessional. Even though he chose to answer his phone he didn't have time to talk. I told him what model he installed and asked in his experience what is common problem after 1.5 yrs...... He rudely explained he doesn't keep track of that stuff, just evaluates what is wrong with mine......again supporting my original request for him to look at it, even if I have to pay a service call.....But he did not have time... I needed to call back and leave a voice mail. Thanks Pierre, but...no, I'll make another call to a company that knows that customer service is part of running a business. read more

We moved into a new home with a pool that was still under warranty. It was in need of a valve replacement due to leaky pipes. The guy that came out failed to notify us of his arrival and when I went outside to greet him he completely ignored me. Wtf?! Who does that? You are on my property and you are going to ignore me?! I then left him alone to do his job as it was our property management company who called him out. He failed to notify us of his departure or communicate if all the work had been finished. All I wanted was a simple break down of the mechanics of the system so I would know how to work everything properly and this guy was a complete asshole. Completely uncalled for. I will be calling them directly to file a complaint as will our property management company. At this point I say avoid at all costs. read more

I've used Pierre for literally 6 years now. The 1st time was when i bought a hottub and had someone install it who left the job partially done. Pierre came out and completely fixed the other company's screw ups and got everything running smoothly From there I didnt have a need for another 4 years and then he came out and fixed my tub and gave it a full overhaul. Bronco spas was referred to us by another reputable pool/spa company that did not work on our type of spa. My husband made the appointment for later that day. Pierre showed up on time , inspected the spa , gave a quote which seemed reasonable.he did some work that day but needed parts and said that he would return the following day. I decided to yelp the business and was a bit concerned with the several poor reviews and just hoped for the best because my husband already hired him! The next day he returned as he said he would.....repaired the spa and told me to refill it and if there were any problems to call him. I refilled it ,turned it on and it runs good as ever! The salt water chlorination system for my swimming pool was covered under my home warranty. When the system wasn't working properly, Bronco Spas was assigned to service my system. Pierre called me to arrange a time for the service and also asked me about the problem that I was having. He suggested a possible cause that I didn't think was the problem, but some testing on my part showed that he was correct. I was able to cancel the service call and save $75. I believe that he really understands these systems, and I was very pleased that he was willing to help me without coming out to my home. My wife and I have a spa which is 14 years old, and the pump motor had gone out. I had heard good things about Pierre and called him. That was our first contact. Pierre worked us into his schedule with almost no delay. He not only confirmed the diagnosis and resolved that problem, but also identified and recommended another part needing replacement during his inspection. That was a very inexpensive fix but could have caused another spa failure and resulting service call if left unreported at that time. So we had that done, too. Pierre also carefully checked the spa for any possible further problems and found none at that time. That is very important to me. Another excellent service company! Our pool heater was experiencing operating and safety issues. Our home warranty company dispatched two service companies to repair our pool heater. The first wasn't sufficiently experienced; the second simply unprofessional. Finally, they dispatched Bronco Spas. Bronco quickly and professionally evaluated and diagnosed the issues, effectively communicated the operating and safety hazards posed by the pool heater, and worked with the home warranty company to remedy the situation. I called Bronco and spoke with Pierre, the owner and technician. He came out, inspected the spa and diagnosed the problem quickly. He quoted a price for labor and parts which seemed reasonable. The work was accomplished within a short period of time, after parts arrived. Pierre does quality work and I was impressed enough to hire him for another electrical project I had. He is very respectful of your property and always cleans up prior to leaving the job. Being a small company he only accepts cash or checks for the work. I would not hesitate to hire him again if I have the need. Absolutely useless. I would give them a -1 if I could. Pierre (apparent owner of company) came to our home to assess a leaky filter casing for our pool. He was unwilling to even place the strap around the filter casing (as our pool service guy had left it off) to see where it was leaking from. His response was that it was just "too hot" (meaning the weather) to be doing this. He then took photos of our pool equipment without our permission. My husband refused to pay him for his service and asked him to leave because he didn't do anything but complain. Despite his non-service and non-payment he made a nasty report to our home warranty company that our pool equipment had been dismantled, was unsafe and was missing parts. Now we are having trouble getting them to provide coverage for the leaky filter casing. Say no way if your home warranty company requests this man to come to your house.
