Okay - was a bit hesitant based on the reviews but I'll be honest, its one of the best little mexican restaurants I've tried. We had just arrived to SC from Ohio (big move) and stopped here to grab something to eat. It was delicious. Will definitely be returning. The service was great. The people are very nice. I normally get some taquitos or tacos but I wanted to try their carnitas tacos and they weren't in chunks like I've made or gotten at other places. It didn't have the sour orange in it or I could taste it. Tacos were full so that's a plus. I'll come back but go to trusted items. read more

Just ate at Bronco's! Yum! The chips, salsa and queso... DELISH!!! So good! I ordered a ribeye with 2 eggs over medium on top with rice and beans. Really good! My daughter got the burrito California. She loved her food also! And the waitress was just precious! She was the best! read more

Ehh. Never again. Waitress didn't speak English.. had to get host. Lots of same items on the menu with different prices.. Also items don't have descriptions what comes in the plate. Ordered overpriced food, had the queso come out 3 min before the main food. The waitress saw that she forgot, ran back and brought queso that was spilt on the plate and hard thick layer formed on top. The queso was over cooked/over heated, but like watery... wasn't a fan. Waitress even saw that was unacceptable and she hesitated to leave or fix, but still left. We had to ask for silverware. Then she took my husbands silverware away when he finished, brought the churros without any new silverware. We finished all our food and she came by and asked if we were done. LOL yea, our plates are empty. Then We sat there for 10 min waiting for our check. We decided to go up front and just pay. She was at the front, leaning on the counter by the register, on her phone. We went out to celebrate the fact that electricity was re-stored to our area due to remnants of Hurricane Helene. We had a delicious mix of Mexican dishes. I had the Pollo Con Crema and it combined shredded chicken, cheese sauce and tasty spices. Delicious. Aurora provided five star service. read more

Side of nacho cheese: 1/5 Stars Practically boiling when served and as runny as water. Gotta let it sit on the table while you stare, hungry and patient. Then it finally tastes like cheese when you eat it. Guacamole: 2/5 Stars Seems to be made fresh, but it's just puréed avocados. I didn't taste any lime juice or cilantro and there were no tomatoes. In general, two stars for being freshly made. Pollo Fundido: 1/5 Stars I'll just tell you how it like always so you can decide for yourself. Wonderfully cooked white meat chicken, tastes like shredded poached chicken breast, no seasoning or anything, just cooked and rolled into a soft taco shell then deep fried. Not the worst. Serve up some nice rice, fresh lettuce & sour cream on the plate for this bad boy....then dump the same, nacho cheese at near boiling temperature onto it so that it goes straight over one section of each taco and, like water, ends up all over the bottom of the plate into your lettuce, sour cream, rice and whatever else you request to be served with it so that in the end almost none of the cheese is on top like you'd like but all over the bottom of the entire plate. A 3-4 star dish ruined losing it four out of five stars. In total, it has the usual tacky Mexican tourist trap theme that a lot of these places feel is necessary for some reason, the staff seems to have a blast working there, the food while nothing out of this world REALLY just needs simple tweaks and a new chef. Or perhaps someone to just call chef? Like most places with about fifty or more menu items, they do not make any five main dishes perfectly. All in all, I give them 3/5 stars for atmosphere & experience but mediocre yet fresh food. read more

I'm disappointed... The food is absolutely disgusting, I brought in my family to eat dinner one day and we left disappointed wishing we would have ate dirt instead. My children ate chicken fingers and the next day they were complaining that they had a upset tummy. I can't say that I have ever had a full drink spilled on me and the waiter basically respond like nothing happened. I was soaked; thankful it was only water. It was 3 of us and one plate came out and was mostly eaten before other 2 arrived. Food was just so-so; service was terrible. We have had good meals here in the past but tonight was one of the worst dinning experiences I've ever had. The cheese dip was brought out at room temperature, our server was nowhere to be found, the pork tacos were almost inedible bc they were mostly fat - and yeah idk why I ordered pork tacos - that's on me - I should have stuck with chicken or beef. I do not have a lot to say about Bronco's other than they execute the basic Mexican Restaurant very well. Nothing really innovative, just good service, clean atmosphere and well prepared Mexican Food. We will continue to stop in when we are on that side of town. read more

Met a friend for lunch here at his suggestion. When I arrived (he was already there) take had no silverware, but more importantly....no menu. Friend had eaten here many times before..I'd never been so naturally needed a menu (he already knew what he was getting.) Tried to wave down a waitress to no avail..for 15 minutes (they didn't seem that busy at all and were adequately staffed.) Finally I just had him snag a leftover menu from a nearby table. It took a further 15 more minutes for the waitress to realize we existed and come take our order. Food took an extraordinary amount of time to arrive. My fajitas were ok...but over seasoned. By the time we were done and needed to go boxed...you guessed it..had to flag down a waitress to get the bill. I'm not sure this is a place I'd return to...maybe....maybe they just had an off day. But nothing could make me forget how disgusting their chicken fajitas are. And I didn't feel well for quite some time after eating that. I'm not sure where to begin, but make sure your medicine cabinet is stocked with Pepto Bismol or Immodium AD. The food here is terrible, not terrible for just Mexican food, but just terrible food period. The first time I ate at Broncos, I had their 2 burrito special which contained ground beef, cheese, beans, and rice if I remember correctly. The cheese over powered the flavor of the beef (if it had any flavor to begin with). The tomatoes on top of the burrito tasted as if they had been sitting all day. I was disappointed at the fact I was hoping for a more authentic "traditional" Mexican restaurant, instead of an upscale Tacobell. What was even worse than the disappointment was the food poisoning. Before I post a review on yelp, I usually visit that location at least twice. Now that I'm more familiar with Broncos and their "tex-mex" offerings, I decided to go for a special that included steak, shrimp, and Quesadillas. When the food arrived, the aroma was out of this world and for a brief second they had redeemed themselves. Sadly, I took a bite into one of their steak flanks, and it was rough. The steak was overcooked, which dried it out and on top of all that it was overly salted. I decided to have a shrimp, and it was below average. The shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp you would purchase at the store. I couldn't and didn't want to finish my mealand it was my only meal of the day. I ended up eating about a third of it and left home, but this time I was prepared with Pepto Bismol (I had stomach issues again). Now most may think that I may have a weak stomach, but I can assure you I do not. I eat spicy food on a regular basis, and Bronco's doesn't have any spiciness to their food. The hot salsa that comes along with the chips taste mild, and the mild version tasted like tomato sauce. The best tasting item that I've personally tried on the menu is their chips and salsa. At best I would rate their chips a 2 out of 5 (since it was freshly made) and 1 out of 5 for their salsa. I would love to give this place a better rating since the workers are nice, but that's just how terrible the food is. The idea behind some of the plates are there, but the execution is just terrible. They use way too much cheese to compensate for non-flavorful meats or overly salt the meats. If you want an upscale Taco Bell, go to Broncos, but I'd rather save some money and eat at Taco Bell. If you're in the mood for Mexican near/in Inman, go down 176 towards Herron circle. There is a Mexican food truck on the left that is 100x better than Broncos. Their is also a little meat market that sells some great tasting tacos, you need to make a right at the corner of where the gas station is if you're on 176 going towards Herron circle. read more
