The worst experience with not just an insurance provide but any corporate body at large…read more Deliberately decentralized, inexperienced brokers and apathetic customer service staff are just a few issues; however, they're appalling slow regarding bureaucracy and zero managerial accountability. A minor not-at-fault collision and I started my claim immediately and deposited the car the next day where it was repaired over a week. Rental car secured and utilized no problem, body damage repaired promptly only to find out that Johnson had not even started the claim thusly not allowing me to get my car back from the body shop without paying them as they too were also waiting for reimbursement by Johnson Insurance. A month after my car was repaired and the incident was long dealt with, Johnson had failed to refund me the cost of the deductible and dialogue with my useless broker was grossly ineffective as he had absolutely no authority to do anything. In the end, the owner of the body shop had to write me a personal cheque due to Johnson unprofessionalism and tardiness. DO. NOT. INSURE. WITH. JOHNSON.

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SCAM DISGUISED AS INSURANCE!!! Their staff withholds their hidden fees for…read moresetting up your policy and even higher fees when cancelling the policy you have already been paying to use. This company had their employees not disclose any costs when it comes to cancelling my motorcycle insurance. The "manager" Les even admitted to me that the individual is new and he listened to our phone conversation when I called in to cancel my policy as I sold my bike at the end of the season. They then get you to sign off on cancelling your policy in writing, but they hid a clause that states there is cancelation fees associated based on a usage table that was never sent and withheld from me. They then debited my bank account automatically 3X the normal monthly premium amount. Then hide behind it saying "Well there are fees to cancel the policy". According to their table I paid the majority of the full premium through the riding season, but still somehow justify charging me 3X my monthly premium amount. The customer service from this company was great to start out. But that's where they get you. They are a Wolf in Sheep's clothing. Insurance is a big enough scam, without these Con Artists getting their hooks into you with their hidden fee clauses. Stay away from Klondike and stick to reputable Insurance companies.

I would give a 1/2 Star if I could…read more Do not have your policy underwritten with this company! We were covered with Johnson / Unifund Insurance through Servus prior to Belair Direct buying them. We were previously very pleased with Johnson Incorporated. When Belair acquired our policy we were told everything was the same. We've only had 1 claim in 25 years and have always had premium coverage with only windshield excluded (or so we thought). Two days ago, we had a transport truck drive past us on the highway and throw a rock at our Mini Cooper and shatter our moonroof. They said they will not cover it as we don't have windshield coverage. We do have "Comprehensive Coverage" so it should be covered according to our policy and everyone we've spoken to. Belair also said that we should've chased down the truck and got the license plate number - even though we were covered in glass from the roof exploding. It's completely ridiculous. The commercials they show on TV of how easy it is to make a claim is a complete LIE! Their marketing is False Advertising! Very Poor Customer Service

I've called 3 different times over the course of…read more2 weeks to get assistance in a matter completely out of my hands and I have been given 3 contrary answers. I was with MORGEX INSURANCE ALBERTA for 12 yrs but I switched over to another company in 2022. That company had to get a verbal confirmation on my drivers history from MORGEX / UNIFUND in order to prove my driving record was good and covered when I switched. But the company I am with made changes to their policies and no longer uses verbal confirmations, but require physical proof of history. I was informed by my current insurance provider that Morgex DID NOT SUBMIT my driving history over those 12 yrs. Belairdirect insurance took over Morgex and has no way of accessing my info. They told me I could submit a complaint which I did and a manager or someone would reach out. BUT STILL NO FOLLOW UP AFTER 2 WEEKS. So I'm screwed unless I find a way to prove I was covered for those 12 yrs. Do yourself a favor AND NEVER USE BELAIRDIRECTS services. There is other companies out there that are better. They don't even have a physical address because the lady on the phone told me they do everything over the phone or online (virtually). So you can't even go directly to a place to have your situation addressed. If I could I would have rated them a negative number as opposed to giving them a 1 star.

We recently purchased a new vehicle and would be taking delivery in a few days. I emailed our personal account manager Kerishea P Ebanks and was waiting to hear back. Seeing as we were in the area we decided to stop in the office and take care of the change to insurance. We learned Kerishea was not in the office that day so another account manager Danielle Stephenson stepped in to help us out. Danielle was very approachable and professional. She was able to make the necessary changes to our policy and provide new insurance cards so we could register our new vehicle. We received full coverage on a new 2022 vehicle with a minor increase to our premiums. If we were not impressed enough, I noticed Karishea had responded to my email and was ready to take care of us even though she was not in the office. It should not have come as a surprise as Karishea has always been very good with us. It was clear we are in awesome hands with all of the excellent, knowledgeable staff at Armour Insurance.

I'm a licensed healthcare professional, a union member, and university graduate. $400/month makes driving infeasible for me, and I'm sure most people. Disappointing to say the least.

They were very aware that safety was an issue, but that did not matter to AMA Fees for licensing and incorporating it are substantially higher too. So what do you get long lineups expensive. This seems to be the largest AMA location I've been to. Parking here is pretty easy. It's brightly…read morelit inside. Washrooms are clean and handicap/baby friendly, but space is tight in there if you have a stroller. There is concierge at this location since it's busy here. I find this place sells a good variety of travel gear and has a decent amount of sitting areas used by companions waiting for those members who are in the lineup. They are more efficient too, with a self serve kiosk for buying discounted movie passes & placing the travel maps/guides on display at front for easy access to help yourself to instead of waiting in line. Passport photos are guaranteed here- it was a bit of a hassle to return to get the money back, but the refund covered the difference of the retake photos' cost from the place who did the photo correctly (in the Canada place building which is more expensive anyway). I've usually found service here to be friendly despite being busy. Even just stopping by for some travel questions is helpful. There's no pressure to book through them & they can give you quotes on their prices for theme park admission tickets as well as tips on when price increases occur (they were actually only a few bucks more than the official theme park's website). I don't do my insurance through them or travel bookings, but I haven't been disappointed with services I've used yet (roadside assistance and locksmith). Overall, I'm pleased with this membership and find it to always be a better experience than going to a standard registry office.
