Stopped in to grab some food and get some work done. Awesome spot with plenty of space to get some work done and eat some delicious bbq. Got the brisket and ribs, that with some spicy bbq was amazing. Definetly will be coming back. The sandwiches looked delicious and everything was fresh. read more

Excellent BBQ !!! The pulled pork, beef brisket, and sweet potato fries are absolutely delicious. We are also impressed that the owner of this restaurant is definitely committed to excellence, and seeing that his customers are happy. We highly recommend this place! read more

Come here for the food--not the atmosphere. Excellent dry with some great sauces. Nice and spicy cole slaw. read more

Broken Bones BBQ - A new fan - Barbeque Near Me - Monument, Colorado

Great Food! There smoked meat is amazing and affordable. There brisket and ribs are to die for! There turkey is the best i have ever tasted. 10 out of 10 would recommend. My mom even claims they have the best onion rings ever. I love supporting a small business. I always bring my out of town family here! read more

I liked the hickory sauce the best. Good experience on the whole. I wasn't WOWed or disappointed. Get fried okra as a side, best item on the menu. read more

Being from Texas I'm definitely hard to please when it comes to BBQ. That being said, Broken Bones hasnt done a half bad job! The meat is always tender and delicious, not too fatty but just enough. The hickory bbq sauce is the way to go in my opinion as its closer to a good Texas sauce, but to each his own on that! Lol read more

I attended a wedding yesterday, and Broken Bones BBQ provided the food for the reception. Loved the pork and chicken! I am a smoke freak, and there was real serious smoke in the meats! My companion thought the potato salad didn't have much flavor, but I loved it! Really nice and chunky. Several types of BBQ sauce were available. They were all great, but watch out for the spicy one! Whoo wee! Great cole slaw and exquisite baked beans! I'm going to patronize this place. read more

We used broken bones for our wedding and we absolutely loved them. Randy is super laid back which made the experience that much easier. We had multiple compliments from guest that they loved the meal, as did we. Thanks for the great dinner! read more

Hip hip hurray Broken Bones saves the day We had an emergency need to feed 40 for a wedding rehearsal dinner late in the day. Broken Bones called the other store and combined their efforts to provide a great meal for all. Great food, great people. Thanks!!! read more

Excellent! We used Broken Bones for our annual pool party which is always such a large event. We could not have been happier!! Excellent service, excellent food!! I think this is the best BBQ we have every had! Broken Bones made our event a success!! Highly recommend!! read more

Good bbq that reminds me of Oklahoma grill outs. The smell walking in is intoxicating. The food is very well seasoned. Not slopped in sauce just good ol smokey meats. read more

We ordered the brisket & smoked turkey to celebrate Thanksgiving with our co-workers. Both were OK I was surprised that the meat didn't have a smoke ring. Not bad BBQ & it was a good price. read more

Absolutely the WORST food ever! We are remodeling so have no kitchen or microwave, hence ordered delivery from a restaurant within less than a 5-minute drive. The pulled pork was literally cold like just taken out of the refrigerator - and dry - not edible! The 2 ribs were lukewarm and so dry not edible! The TX toast was cold, limp, burnt on one side and no butter, salt, garlic or any flavoring, none in the bag or offered on the menu. The fries were limp with no salt and no ketchup in the bag or offered on the menu. The coleslaw is bland! The potato salad is bland with only the flavor of occasional pepper. This meal was ALL just thrown in the trash!!!!!! The cherry cobbler was half frozen and has freezer burn smell and taste! We will NEVER order here again! AWFUL! This was the 1st and LAST time we will try this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT waste your time or money!!!! Just spoke to the 'manager' and the comment was "I will definitely pass that on to the owner". This place does not even deserve one star!!!!!!!!! The only good thing was the very timely and polite delivery by DoorDash. read more

At last! A local BBQ that is good! Based on the reviews we went to check it out! We ordered combo of everything and Wow! Everything was good! We had ribs, great bite the brisket was a bit fatty (maybe cook a bit longer), sausage was spicey and tastey. Check it out! read more

The food is good. The prices are way too high for portion size. No drink included with combos. Can't afford this bbq anymore. Too big for their britches now that have moved. read more

This place is a poor excuse for BBQ!!! The line was out the door at Rudy's so we decided to try something new, which was a bad decision. The brisket was tough and not cut correctly. The ribs were also tough and the pulled pork was terrible. I don't think I've ever left BBQ on my plate but I couldn't bring myself to finish the meat. In addition to the terrible food, they completely ran out of ice in their fountain drink machine. Needless to say, we won't be coming back here and will be sticking to Rudy's and GQue for BBQ from now on. read more

My husband and I wanted to try something new so we headed over to check this place out. First off, it's in a terrible location right next to the laundromat and parking is annoying. Next we get out of the car to check out a menu taped to the front window to see if there is anything interesting looking. Not 2 seconds later a guy (the owner?) comes barging outside telling us "you have 30 seconds to decide on what you want....we close at 8pm". Oh.....ok.....I'm sorry....let me squint and hunt around for the tiny hours sign....or how about you turn the open sign off if you don't want to be annoyed by those pesky paying customers. That right there almost put me off considering we were just LOOKING at the menu but we decided to go ahead inside. He rushes up to the register and snarls "by the way, this will be to go." Um....okay? Strike 2. My husband orders a sausage sandwich and while we wait for them to make it I notice a family inside finishing up their dinner. One of them tells our super friendly guy how good their meal was. He shrugs them off by grunting something I didn't catch and continues to madly race around the room collecting ketchup bottles. A younger girl tries to fill up her drink with ice and the drink machine is out. She mentions this to the guy and he makes a big show of acting annoyed that he has to dump a bucket of ice in the machine for his paying customers. Finally our food is up, He then takes our card and runs it and then tells us we can leave a tip on the line. Seriously? You behave like that and then expect a tip? Riiiiiiiight. I don't think so. As he hands us our food, we are told they are out of the usual buns but he will give us two small ones to make it up. He shouldn't have bothered. When we got home the bread was stale and there were 3 little chunks of sausage in the whole sandwich. We also got a tiny little cup of some of the worst tasting sauce I have ever had. On top of that the fries tasted like the kind you can get out of walmarts freezer.....not even fresh cut potatoes....how hard is it to slice up a potato and make fries??? The BBQ sauce tasted like it came out of a bottle as well. If you have ever had real BBQ from the south...STAY AWAY from this dive. If you don't mind being treated like crap and paying 9 bucks for below subpar food and horrible service then by all means, toss your hard earned money away. My guess is this place will be closed down within the year, hopefully a REAL BBQ restaurant will take its place. read more

Such great pulled pork! Smoky and delicious. The sauces (mustard and spicy) were fantastic! Generous sized sides - tasty onion rings, sweet, peppery coleslaw and great sausage in the beans! The service was fast and friendly. We may return tomorrow! read more

I'm a bit of a BBQ snob, and wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a slab of ribs and beans to go. The ribs were drop off the bone tender, great smoke flavor, and a very generous size. I've gone back several times and its always been top notch. When I don't have time to smoke my own BBQ, it's good to know I can pick up some quality Q from this restaurant. read more

We used to love this restaurant in Monument. Ordered to go tonight. Brisket was cold. French fries were limp and greasy. They didn't have chicken on the menu anymore. I think they are more focused on the Northgate location and letting the Monument location go downhill. Very disappointing. read more

I don't like to give bad reviews but the truth is that although the food is tasty but my Pulled pork sandwich was a little on the small side and cold. read more

Very good. Great price. Family owned. I recommend the brisket, best I have had. Yummy.

We have heard about this place and have always meant to go and it took our school doing a spirit night aka the busiest night ever, but the service was impeccable and though it was intensely busy, I was treated so well and the stress of the staff didn't show. And it smelled amazing, I got the Linebacker sandwich and a meat platter for the fam. The beans were perfect and not cliche. The smoked turkey was the family fav, but the brisket and pulled pork were also some of the best we have ever had. Verdict? As a wanna be foodie family, we have a new favorite just about a mile from the house. read more

We ordered the ribs, pulled pork plate, and a pound of pulled pork to go. The food was ready quickly and packaged neatly. The ribs were probably the best ribs I have ever eaten from a restaurant. Tons of meat, really moist and fell off the bone. I got the sweet sauce, though. And that was not good. It tasted like it had cinnamon in it, and too much. The pulled pork was pretty good, moist and tender. It didn't have much burnt ends to it, though. And I like that part. Also, the lb of pulled pork didn't come with bread or rolls. That's weird. The potato salad is super bland. I say a lot of things are bland, but our whole family agreed it had zero taste. The baked beans were also very bland. But overall it was pretty good. I'd go back just for the ribs. read more

We came to this place shortly before closing time, so we got carry out. Food was acceptable, perhaps dining in would have been tastier. Brisket, BBQ, sweet potato fries, fried okra- all acceptable but not outstanding. read more

This was our first time eating here. The food was delicious. I had the Brisket Sandwich. The brisket was moist with a firm smoke to it. The spicy sauce was tasty with low heat. My wife had the sampler with brisket, pulled pork, and turkey. All were very good. The turkey was very moist with a nice smoke too it. My only disappointment was the lack of good quality local craft beer. At least all three offerings were all Colorado beers just not "high quality " if you get my drift. read more

Nothing special about this place. It's not bad and it's not amazing. Our food was very, very plain. The original BBQ sauce didn't taste like anything and the sweet sauce tasted like nothing but brown sugar. The food was pricey for what you get. The restaurant could use some cleaning and dusting. The customer service was good though! read more

This was the only source for BBQ in the Monument area, and as such you will pay a bit of an upcharge. The place recently expanded, which must have forced the to decrease their portions. Now they are overpriced and under-portioned. read more

Always good BBQ! Ribs are some of the best around. Can't go wrong here. Brisket is very moist.

Fantastic food. The brisket, pulled pork and BBQ sauce are the best in the Colorado Springs area. If you are looking to cater a party, your guests will thank you! read more

I go for the $5.95 Lunch combo with sweet potato fries. Brisket is my favorite

Great smoke flavored BBQ. The fried okra is outstanding. My only complaint is that for the measure, the portions are really small for the price. read more

Great local bbq place. Wonderful variety of bbq sauces. Their cole slaw is not overly mayo'd, I love it. And the linebacker is amazing sandwich if your a big eater. read more

The food is always delicious. We have it weekly and it is a go to for pick-up catering. We even got our thanksgiving turkey there last year.

Friendly service. Good prices for good food. I particularly enjoy the smoked Turkey, very tender.

Worst BBQ place in a 100 mile vicinity. Sauces are poor, okra was poor, meat was fatty and tasted of liquid smoke. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. Stay away if you actually want to eat your meal. I always hope for small treasures in my town, but this ship should sink. I gave it two tries, there absolutely will not be a third. Oh, I paid $35 for two regular combos and a small. read more

Very good BBQ! Glad to have something tasty in the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend~

So my search for good BBQ still continues here in Colorado. Talk about being spoiled, being from Oklahoma and Texas BBQ rules! Here not so much. Got the two meat plate let's see it had 2 ribs and 2 so called not so hot links. All for $11. Okra was way too salty. Place is clean. But food is way below average for BBQ read more

We tried the three meat plate with 2 sides and got a link of jalapeño cheddar sausage. It was plenty of food for three. We liked the pulled pork the best. It had a great smoky flavor. The smoked turkey was very moist and had good flavor. The brisket was very tender but not as flavorful. The smoked sausage was SO good. We loved the baked beans. They had a rich smoky flavor. The sweet potato fries were okay, not as crispy as we would have liked. They had 4 different types of homemade BBQ sauce and a BBQ mustard sauce that complemented the smoked turkey breast. Staff were friendly. Next time we will try the ribs, okra, coleslaw and have more pulled pork! Great BBQ place in Monument. read more

This place has pretty decent BBQ and the staff was friendly and prompt. The fried okra was made fresh and you can tell! The hickory and mustard sauce were our faves and the pulled pork sandwiches were a good size and delicious. Would def visit again! read more
