One of my go to places for BBQ. I am so glad theres a location here, I go to the one in Florida all the time. Inside was spacious, friendly stuff, service was good. You can order online or in person. They show you your order before they pack it to make sure everything is right. I ordered the 2 meat platter with Mac and cheese and sweet potato (seasonal) and it comes with corn bread and a drink. I got the beef brisket (moist) and pulled pork. The meat was juicy and not dry super flavorful! My go to dipping sauce has to be the Smokey mountain bbq sauce, it's like sweet and tangy. It's a little more on the expensive side but totally worth it! I will keep coming back because everything is so so so good! Definitely recommend.

Went with my family today and it was amazing!they have the best lemonade I have ever had it's called summer time lemonade. I got the burger which is massive and it's the first time where I felt like I underpaid for my meal. The burger was thicker than a hockey puck. Lots of sauces you can pick from which I tried the Memphis belle and it was amazing. The service is super quick super helpful! The restaurant is very clean and each table had paper towers at every table. Everyone left full and happy!

It may not be Texas, but it's the closest thing in Colorado for the homesick. Fantastic BBQ in a pro-freedom atmosphere that makes the food taste even better. Be warned, it's expensive, but still worth the price. Some of the best cornbread west of the Mississippi. For the win: Brisket, Jalapeño sausage, cole slaw, and potato salad.

I love this military/first responder themed BBQ restaurant. I was surprised despite how pro military they were, they didn't offer any sort of discount. They however redirected me to sign up for their online program which emailed you a free sandwich after a few business days which was a nice touch. The ordering was fast and easy. Service was friendly and the food tasted great. The brisket was my favorite and I wish their portions were a little bigger for what you're paying. Corn bread was moist and the greens were tasty. I eventually came back after they emailed me for a free sandwich and they honored the coupon which was nice to see. I'll be coming back to try the rest of their BBQ meats in the near future.

Military theme bbq restaurant. We loves jalapeño cheddar sausage, pulled pork, black plate (special rotation dishes ex. Hawaiian smoked ribeye). Highlighted by 6 different bbq sauces from Texas, Smokey mountain, Kansas, Kentucky... They are all different & delicious. I also love their refreshing tea and lemonade. Service is fast & attentive. When the supervisor knew we have to seat outside. He offered to give us extra bbq sauce right away.

Single meat and two great sides. Cheesy potatoes are worth it.

Great all around. Great service, awesome meats and excellent sides. Thick cuts of meat. I really liked the variety of sauces. Worth driving too if it's far for you.

Yikes. What a lunch - pricey, salty, overcharged meal and a service fee on top of it all. Placed an order for the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. Asked for a cup for water and was charged for an XL meal deal. My fault for not checking my receipt, but $34 for two was a bit much. I thought my brisket sandwich was the best offering out of everything. The meat was tender and the sauce was very tasty. The mac and cheese was a bit dry to me and seemed to lack some flavor. My wife's order to me was very salty. The pulled chicken had a tougher bark/skin with a lot of salt seasoning. Her French fries while fresh cut seemed also to be a bit on the saltier side as well. Won't be venturing back to Mission BBQ which is too bad as I did enjoy the restaurants military/first responder themes.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday. The place was considerably busy for only just opening. The cashier was very friendly and explained the menu to us. Basically they have certain meats available by the pound. There's special deals to get 2 or 3 meats, but everything on the menu is ala carte. We ordered the pulled pork and smoked cheeseburger. We also ordered baked beans, coleslaw, and cheesy potatoes as our sides. The pulled pork was tender, flavorful, and had a nice smokey flavor. The cheeseburger didn't have much of a smokey flavor and only tasted ok. Nothing to write home about. The cornbread that came with our meals was a little dry and too overcooked on the bottom. The cheesy potatoes were good. I really wished they had potato salad on the menu instead. The coleslaw was ok, a little bland and underdressed. The baked beans tasted good and went well with the burger. The sauce selection on the table was pretty good. I enjoyed the Memphis Belle, Tupelo Honey Heat, and St. Louis Red. All the sauces had their own sweetness and spice. Honestly, it was so bizarre to have to stand up at attention in the middle of eating lunch to sing to the national anthem. It's incredibly off putting, especially with everyone's judging glares at you if you don't sing or have your hand on your heart. The food is mediocre at best and the cherry on top is the awkward national anthem mid dining experience. So, if that's not your cup of tea, best to avoid this place altogether. There's better BBQ places in town that don't make you pledge your allegiance to the United States in the middle of your meal.

I ordered the wet brisket after having a sample. However, what I got was very different from the all meat sample, it was mostly fat.

The place is bright, clean, organized, with a fun vibe. We were there at 5:30 pm on Friday to beat the crowds. My friend's kid loved checking out what drinks in the container full of ice while we were waiting in line. Of course we all got the drink we wanted:). I had pull pork sandwich and beans salad. Yummy my friends were happy with their brisket and spicy sausages. I took home a moist brisket as well. So we were all happy with our meals. Staff were friendly and willing to help if needed.

The mixed bean salad, the coleslaw, the smoked potato and a banana pudding. The mixed bean salad was so good, probably the best bean salad I have ever had. The beans were perfectly cooked. Not at all mushy. The coleslaw was excellent. Crisp and not sweet. Just how I like it. The baked potato. Where do I start ! I have to tell you I was a chef and caterer in England and at one time I had a baked potato business. The potato at Rudy's was perfectly cooked. Fluffy inside. The taste of the potato was so delicious I ate it on its own with just salt and pepper. It was that good. And the banana pudding was so good. My boyfriend had the brisket. He said it was excellent. When we first arrived on Sunday during holiday weekend, there was a line out of the door and I thought oh no. I was already tired from the cog railway and I knew that there wouldn't be many options for me as a vegetarian, but I'm used to that. But my boyfriend loves the meat and another of our friends had been to Rudy's before and recommended it. I'm so glad we waited. At first, I thought it was a weird set up, but it just worked. You know the guy serving us was so friendly. He offered us some samples cause we were new there and then we took all our food to the communal tables and there was some great sauces and my boyfriend loves all his condiments and there were so many to try including pickled spicy carrots, regular pickles,he was just in his element. What a great place. It's probably a good job that we come from California and don't live too close to this place because I'd be going all the time. And bear in mind that I'm not a meat eater and yet the sides were so good. I didn't feel I missed out on anything. I wish I had tried the creamed corn Honestly, we're leaving Colorado on Tuesday and I'm thinking of ways that we can go back to Rudy's to try some more at this barbecue place. I highly recommend it. It's one of the best barbecue places and restaurants that I've been to in a long time. Everything works here, from the staff to the ordering to the food, it's all top-notch.

I have not experienced that since my second to last trip to Michigan, and the best way to describe the smell is that the most glorious cuts of proteins are waiting for your palate. The inside of the place has a rustic sort of appearance and the parking doesn't cost anything - you're basically walking into a cabin full of what I am sure are culinary gods. For this particular order, I went with the three meat combo with two sides. For my proteins, I went with kielbasa, pulled pork and burnt ends. The kielbasa itself is royalty on a plate - the perfect balance of smoke, char and spices. Hall of fame worthy and it more than puts any other place's offerings to the test - Slows BBQ of Detroit, as much as I love you all, Front Range delivers perfection here. The pulled pork was next, and it too was perfection - great amount of moisture still in it and the taste made my taste buds sing. The burnt ends? Generous portions and when paired with the sweet and spicy sauce, it is like candy cut from a rib of perfection. The sides were next. I'm not exactly sure what they put into the potato salad, but the bacon had a perfect crunch and the potatoes themselves had a pleasant smoky taste that is the perfect ratio. The fried okra itself you could easily eat by the bucket, which speaks volumes to me. I even ended up walking out with a cookbook on hand and a bottle of mustard wine sauce. The owners did their homework here, and delivered a feast worthy of Mt. Olympus itself. If you're in the area and on the hunt for perfection, look no further - this palace of proteins is all you even need to know about. I live for the day when the owner behind this masterpiece is on BBQ Brawl and destroys the competition enough to let Colorado reign forever.

During the 35 minutes the order took (fine if good) I sat at the bar and NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER asked if I wanted a glass of water, beer, hemlock...nothing! I was completely ignored for 35 Minutes. Couple wait staff even asked the bartender why I was sitting there, but they never acknowledged me either Loved the beans, salad was great. Now comes the main feature....the ribs! Now I LOVE burnt ends, but this was ridiculous! I have high end German cutlery that would not hack through the outer crust without sawing. I tried two bites and my jaw was literally sore from chewing so in the trash it went! $25 for a small salad and beans and no service at all!

The star of the show is the moist brisket. This is the juiciest and perfectly salted brisket I've had. The pork ribs are another highlight. These ribs are firm and have good pull and still have a good amount of fat for added flavor. The pulled pork was also great. Juicy, flavorful, and not doused in sauce so you can pick your own sauce. Speaking of sauces, there are two sauces offered. There's the tangy sauce and the sweet and smoky sauce. The sweet and smoky sauce was too sweet and not smoky enough for my liking but the tangy sauce was great. The tater bomb is a great side option or even a main option as it's a baked potato with meat on top. Great option if you like baked potatoes, though it's not as smoky as I'd hope. On the special we had the smoked half chicken which wasn't great. The whole thing is covered in seasoning which gets a bit overpowering at times but the chicken itself is dry and not very smoky. The Mac and cheese was probably the worst part of the menu. The Mac was similar to Velveeta in texture except even more waxy. Not very cheesy flavor wise and overall just bland. Overall great bbq and can't wait to come back.

We used to buffalo gals for our wedding and food was great. Just a few points of miscommunication that caused a bit of unnecessary stress on my wedding day is why the loss of a stars. We were told that the one guest who was celiac and one guest who was vegetarian were going to have a plated meal to prevent risk of cross contamination and would ensure they had their food. We were told not to stress as they would be plated and given to the guests as they were given the guests names and could work with the seating chart. I noticed that the guest who was vegetarian was only eating sides so I had asked and she said she didn't know there was a separate meal. the celiac guest who luckily got to go through the buffet first did not have issues as she did get to go first but could've caused severe outcomes for her if she did have cross contamination. After talking with catering staff onsite they said they were told that the guest has to ask for it which was complete opposite of what was originally communicated, and they were deeply sorry. So just miscommunication with one that actually could've caused permanent harm if she had ingested gluten. We also paid an additional fee for grilling to be onsite, due to fire ban that was unable to occur. We understand that is not within our control but no where in the contract does it say that it is not refundable, so they just held onto that fee even though they didn't provide the service. When asked about the refund I was told the fee was for the tri-tip to be cooked on a specific grill but nowhere does that say that in our contract and was NEVER communicated - because if it was not onsite we were told the way it was cooked was the same - we thought we really were just paying for the experience of it being onsite. So biggest tip for anyone going through them is get everything in writing with clear communication and clarification, because without that they don't care to help.
