When I first started my record collection, I asked my music-loving co-worker where to go and he immediately recommended Hear Again! Located in downtown Gainesville only a few cobblestoned steps from the legendary Hippodrome Theater, Hear Again has a fantastic location in the heart of the city. You'll usually know when the shop is open based on the standing sign that is propped up during business hours! Upon entrance into the store, you're surrounded by some of the greatest tunes to ever be pressed on their various mediums with more genres that you could even count. Hear Again is so wonderfully organized and arranged, there never seems to be a a CD or vinyl out of alphabetical or genre order - talk about arrangement! The wonderful store owner also keeps a running list online of available vinyls, also available on their Instagram page which is updated weekly with new arrivals or sales. My favorite portion of the store? The used records! I've scored vinyls in prime condition for $5 or even less! One of my favorite details about Hear Again? Their COVID practices! Upon entry, you get your temp checked, hands sprayed with alcohol/sanitizer and you are then provided with gloves. I love it!! Triangle Vinyl is a great place to seek out a couple of records and there is something definitely cool about wandering and just flipping through the records. Maybe it is a sign of getting older when you find yourself yearning for the times that you knew in your yesterdays and you find yourself believing those times were the best. Regardless of it being that I am getting older or whatever the case, I found my time here at Triangle Vinyl made me recall those bygone days. They have a huge selection of used records, but you definitely have to come with patience to look through every single bin to see if you might find a gem or some thing that you want to add to your collection. Your hoard gets heavy. There's plenty of produce. My favorite day to go is on Sunday morning. Nothing's cheap but it's not as expensive as places like Publix, Earth Fare or Sprouts. I haven't been to the Friends of the Library book sale in a while, so going was kind of an…read moreexperience. I didn't really have a goal in mind for what I wanted, so just going through the stacks and browsing to see if anything caught my eye was the basic plan. Lots of people lined up, but I got through the line pretty quickly. Inside, the books are arranged in a reasonable order, and the different sections are easy to identify, so finding areas that interested me was not a problem. Coming across the cooking section, I found that there were a number of smaller cookbooks that I like to term as "Wive's Club Cookbooks" which can be some of the best/most entertaining cookbooks you can come across due to the nature of the recipes that are contained in them. You never know what you are going to find in them, though recipes from the 1960's are prevalent and gelatin comes into heavy play. Good stuff there, and I stocked up on them. Overall, the Friends of the Library book sale is always a good thing to go to!

I had read the whole thing and it was well researched, with over 84 pages of sources. I challenge anyone to find just one false statement in it.
