We received a phone call around 11:30 on August 7 asking if we could make the appointment at 12:30 instead. We were unable to make the 12:30 appointment due to prior obligations and asked to keep the original time at 2:30. Budget Blinds then decided to cancel our 2:30 appointment for seemingly not wanting to wait around until 2:30 to complete the measurements and allow us to order blinds to be installed. We are not from the Central Florida area and are disappointed in how Budget Blinds handled their obligation to us as paying customers. Where we live, it is unheard of for a company to cancel an appointment and forego a paying customer. Seemy turning down business appears to be the Budget Blinds way and we will be sure to discuss this issue with the owners/representatives of the Budget Blinds company. We understand a desire to head home early (by pushing our appointment up two hours), however, Budget Blinds cutting their nose spite their face (losing a paying customer because we could not accommodate a change in appointment times) is not smart business and damages relationships in the community. Very professional ownership, sales, and install team. We added new windows a few years ago and my…read morewife had been pushing for shutters too. I was unconvinced until I saw them installed. They truly look amazing and have made a major difference in the appearance of my office and living room. We decided to just do a few windows at a time because of the cost. We recently had a second install for a large three panel window in our kitchen and there was an issue during the install when the measurement was slightly off. Something that rarely if ever happens. They expedited new shutters in a third of the time and offered a reduced price because of the inconvenience. The fact that they responded so quickly reflects how seriously they consider customer support. It meant a lot. Lastly, the install team is very professional, clean, and fast. I tend to slow things down because I always talk to the guys and ask questions. Looking forward to having them back to finish three more bedroom windows. Highly recommend.
