I had to look up the formula and try to complete the calculation myself to keep my home. Then she charged me for checking my calculations and adjusting them. Due to her wrong calculations, I made certain financial decision that I am still reaping the repercussion 10 months later. Her calculations were 3 times the original quote Of less than 4k. I did not complain thinking well no one comes out of a divorce without battle wounds and this is almost complete I don't have time nor the money to find another lawyer . However now I am ready to change my last name, while at the SSN office I find out she did not add this to my documents and blames me. Saying I approved the documents. When I emailed her regarding the situation all she commented on was she and her office is not rude. Not the fact that she missed the name change even after asking me about it. 8 I'm not a lawyer and I hired a lawyer thinking she would be thorough and think of things I would not. Make this process of navigating the court system easier. Now I have to pay additional fees to change my last name which should have been included. I was in school full time, had to take both of my fathers off of life support. Angela nor her office called to advise the divorce was final. I found documents in my spam 10 days after the fact.
