He came out and…read moreoverrode the delay switch on the actual HVAC unit system that's outside because he said we didn't need it because we also have the same delay switch thing on the thermostat inside He didn't check the air handler or anything else and said it was that . He hooked hoses and said our Freon was fine and that everything else was working properly. So paid him cash and almost 6 hours later the house stayed at a hot 80 degrees in the hall and actually got to 86 degrees in the kitchen as we have a magnetic thermostat which sits on the side of the refrigerator . So my husband texted him to tell him and he actually said to give our unit some more time to cool down the house !! Now I'm not an HVAC technician but I'm also not a moron. I know it does not take six hours to put a temperature of 77° in the house from 80 which in almost 6 hours that's what happened. He refused to come back out and it was 5 o clock. Wants to wait to see if it'll cool off overnight Meanwhile I'm on dialysis and have been very sick for some time and the thought of another night of 80-82 degrees is very difficult to deal with considering I do my treatments at home now in a hot sweltering room! So meanwhile the original company that's on vacation and personally got ahold of No Frost Air to help us wasn't much help either in trying to help and what the most horrible part is we ended up getting ahold of our neighbor who's friends father owns a HVAC company and they came right out !!!! So mind you another service Call $$$ in less than 6 hours.... The problem was the actual COMPRESSOR IS BAD AND WAS BAD ALL ALONG BUT NO FROST AIR TOOK ADVANTAGE BY TRYING TO ALTER OUR SYSTEM and say it needed more time to cool down which is still mind blowing to me ... The incompetence and the dishonesty of this company's owner is appalling to me that he could even do something like this and then tell my husband to wait until our prior hvac company owner comes back from vacation to address the problem with our HVAC not working and cooling our house .. Worst experience ever !!!! Who does that !! He should be ashamed of himself to do this to us . I'd give ZERO STARS if I could! This is a honest review!

I scheduled an annual service with Greenfox. They came out on 5/6/2026 and performed the service…read morefor what I believe was $99. They said everything was good to go - no issues. Two weeks later, on 5/18, the air conditioning stopped working. They market themselves as 24-hour, so I called 5 times that evening. They have a system for screening their calls. I communicated several times that this was an urgent concern, as I have 5 pets who would be intolerant of the 100-degree heat forecast for the following day. Even after dark, my house was 85 degrees. After those calls, I received no calls back. The next morning, on 5/19, I scheduled a morning appointment with Greenfox and then chatted with them via their chat system. The person on the chat assured me that this was a concern. They reported that they marked my appointment as urgent and would register a complaint with the company on my behalf. They assured me that the tech would leave and arrive at my house by 8am. 8am came and went with no call or contact from Greenfox. I logged on to the chat again and spoke with another agent and recounted everything that had happened previously. They said they could do nothing but make appointments on the chat. I said that I did that morning and was told the appointment would be around 8. They said I would have to call the office. I told them that I already had 5 times, and I received no return call. The chat said there was nothing they could do. I then spent time I could have been working calling other companies to try to get service, as the house was getting close to 80 degrees at 9:30 AM. A tech from Greenfox eventually arrived at around 11:15. The company never called me back at all; they didn't let me know he was coming. I received an automated text that the tech was coming 15 minutes after he arrived. He found the issue, which should have been discovered two weeks earlier at the servicing appointment. The tech then left, saying, "I'll send you the invoice." No discussion. The tech then charged us $245 for a problem that should have been caught during the initial service we already paid for. Getting an annual service from this company is useless. It appears they didn't thoroughly review for potential issues, which has left my AC not working on the hottest days of the year so far. There was no consideration on the second bill for the poor work of the technician who came out to service. They don't answer phone calls. They don't call anyone back. They don't let you know a tech is coming. Their chat responses are, at minimum, disingenuous and, at worst, outright lies. And then they still charge you double, even though it was their error. There are far better and more reliable companies in the area, with whom I will be contracting going forward.

Now we need another one done, and Jimmy, one of their techs, came out to do a fall system check and noted that our second HVAC system was getting towards the end of life and that maybe we should schedule an evaluation to assess the system further and get estimates for a new system upstairs, as the downstairs unit was replaced about 2 years ago. We called and scheduled Jimmy to come back; he did, assessed the system, and gave us some estimates and options based on the information he gathered when he initially came out.
