Looking back, I could've bought a home. Instead, I paid that kind of money to deal with broken elevators, paper-thin walls, constant noise, and management that treated me like a nuisance. Don't let the fake "luxury" branding fool you, the finishes are cheap, maintenance is slow (if it shows up at all), and the building is clearly run by people who only care about rent checks. I thought I was paying for convenience and quality. I was wrong. I was paying for headaches, false promises, and regret. If you're on the fence, don't do it. Learn from my mistake.

It could get complicated since Dorado owned my unit but not the building; Matt was an excellent liaison and advocate for his tenants when issues arose with the building's management. Most importantly, he was able to work through, and find solutions to, almost any situation. I live in Tulsa now and really miss his approachable management style.

Joseph Caragel (owner)- is incredibly rude, he yells and talks over you and is very misogynistic to women. Upon moving out, he was very demeaning towards my mother by mocking her and saying he was happy to have me out. Further, I was blamed and banned for property damage at my girlfriends building (also under DJ) saying I was caught on video - which they failed to produce several times. She has also been blamed and yelled at by Caregal for many "issues." The "not recommended reviews" on yelp offer similar stories. Steer clear of this company

He is not hesitant to tell me as an owner what I needed to do to make sure my tenants are happy (and he's happy to do the same to keep me happy dealing withe thing from repair to HOA as well). They were either not responsive…read moreenough, would have a high turnover of people in charge (so you would know know who to communicate with), never followed with the list of preventative maintenance requests, would do nothing on optimizing rental income, or would be way too expensive (sometimes, all of the above). Hiring Longview Properties lowered by stress, and increased my confidence in being a landlord. They own their own properties, so they understand what's important to both, the landlord, as well as a tenants. They are easy to communicate with, and they know the tenants by name (they are not just another unit number). Most impressive though is that they put themselves in your shoes, and do what you would want to have done - one example, when driving by the property on a weekend, of a fall afternoon, I saw Mike (the owner of Longview Properties) blowing leaves - when I asked him what he was doing, his response was that he would not spend $600 for 30 minutes of landscaping work, regardless of it was his property on mine. It's that level of customer service that it's extremely rare to find anywhere else.

They are the worst at responding to emails and seem like they have the reading comprehension of a 4 year old. They don't seem to care about mice or cockroaches infesting the building. They also don't seem to care about water damage and mold. Please don't rent any property if they are managing it. It's not worth it.

Kevin C. Kelliher is the agent representing Lundgren Management at my building. Kevin has been…read morenothing but unprofessional and hostile towards me. Kevin has single-handedly been a source of stress and discomfort, and has sworn at me on the phone, purposefully blocked urgent phone calls, and has now become overtly vindictive--to a point of creating manufactured fraudulent charges. I held back on writing this review as I hoped I wouldn't have to deal with Kevin directly. However, he has now started manufacturing charges for services not rendered from several months prior. Not only is Kevin unprofessional, but he is now committing fraud on behalf of Lundgren Management, and should be investigated by the company as he represents them. Attached is a screenshot of emails where I clarified (with proof from the maintenance person in question) that Lundgren management tried to charge me $170 for "radiator shut off"--services which weren't rendered since (as they also admitted in writing) they sent their maintenance person to another emergency. Instead of apologizing, Kevin Kelliher replied "The maintenance charges were under billed, as there was a significant amount of management, maintenance, cleaning time that was supposed to be assessed to the account. I will have my accounting department review and send an updated ledger reflecting the additional charges." Lundgren management does not perform maintenance or cleaning specifically to apartment, so this is a clear vindictive tactic by Kevin, given his history of verbally swearing at, overtly disrespecting, and demonstrating prejudice towards me.

Kailah said JUSTIN GRAMMAR would discuss with attorney, and to email questions/proposed changes which attorney did. JUSTIN GRAMMAR refused to talk to attorney, emailed attorney no modifications and refunded the deposit. Our attorney replied that the addendum language contradicted some standard lease terms, and asked again to discuss, which he ignored. We never heard from either Kailah or Justin. Completely unprofessional, but more concerning, clearly didn't want to deal with tenants represented by counsel. Red flag!!! Thankful we didn't get stuck in a lease with a property manager this unprincipled and unresponsive.
