Broadway Smog Test only is the place to go for your smog testing needs. My truck had to have a new catalytic converter put on it and when I went to get it smogged, the guy hooked it up and several sensors were not ready. So he disconnected and told me he was not going to charge me. He made a few suggestions how to get it ready. I had to put 650 miles on it to get it ready. If you need service for smog these are the guys. They got it done for me today. They checked it for me 5 times at no charge before hooking it up again. I cannot give them enough a recommendation. read more

Broadway Smog Test Only - This is my baby all smogged up. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - El Cajon, California

The dude working there was rude from the start. I was not greeted, he only said "drive up further" then "get out of your car" in a tone like I should have known when he was ready. It was when I heard him cackle at a Fox News segment about migrants dying in a stampede that I was glad the test hadn't started so I could take my business elsewhere. I told him why I was leaving and was instructed to "go drink Kool-Aid" as if having human empathy makes me the one in a cult. read more

Service requested was fast and easy. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

The white guy working there who wasn't the same Asian guy I used to see back in the day just lost my business. Saw my car and with out even checking a thing tells me that my car might not pass smog. Ok, exactly how? So while I was waiting my buddy called me and I told him what happened and he told me about a place up the street. I made up an excuse about coming right back and of course, my car passed. It's 2010 that is serviced religiously and runs like a champ so of course it passed. read more

Such a sweet man. I actually accidentally stumbled upon this place. I thought I was calling a different smog station that had later hours. But we went over what I needed done to my car and even though he should have already been closed for at least an hour, since I was right down the road he told me to come on in. The service was reasonably priced and he was extremely quick. However, it was his customer service that sealed the deal for me. I will definitely be going back for all future smog related services in the future. Such a nice, kind man. I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

Tony was awesome! Gave me insight on how California is working to make the standards to pass for older vehicles (own a '97 Dodge Ram), almost impossible. Fornunately, mine passed, no headaches with the corrupt state for 2 years. Time to get out of Kommiefornia! read more

I just had a very satisfying experience at this establishment. I literally left my home an hour ago, and I'm already back! I was worried it would be crowded, but I got right in. I recently had to get some reapir work done, in order to pass smog, and I was nervous I wouldn't pass. I'm not sure if I should say anything, but he scanned my vehicle to make sure no codes came up. Who does that!? The technician was so helpful, and friendly, that I was instantly put at ease. I had been there before, and I'll definitely be back. I told him my wife's car is due, and he gave me a $10 off coupon! Customer service should be this good everywhere. read more

Needed to get our Subaru pass smog check. Had last minute morning to get it done . Hit up two other places on Broadway one didn't. Open till 9:30 and it was after 8 . The second was opened but they said the guy that did them wasn't there that day. So we found this place drive up they were just opening. Told them we needed smog check if he had time. He took us immediately no appointment necessary. Took about 15 minutes in and out. Nice clean place good parking area if you do have to wait. I think we paid $45 sorry husband paid i didn't pay attention but he said it was affordable. All they do is testing so no other work . Overall good experience and will remember his shop in 2 yrs when we have to smog again. Definitely recommend this place. read more
