The site that now houses the Broadway Rose has seen many restaurants come and go. Most recently, it was the Almost Normal Cafe, and prior to that it has been a BBQ place and hosted two Southern comfort food establishments. Nothing seems to stay for long. The Broadway Rose is hopefully the exception to the rule; it has a nice open patio, welcoming red and black decor, and the food is quite good. They have a variety of pasta dishes (we had fettuccine alfredo) and their meatball sub is excellent. They do take-out and dine-in, and prices are very good- nice value, you get healthy portions (but not overwhelming) for between $6 and $11. No pizza- which I consider a plus, because there are tons of pizza places. When I go back, I plan on trying the Lasagna and the Mac-and-cheese with Italian sausage. read more
